Such beautiful harmonies. Big Americana fan and this is right in that wheel house 👍👍
I enjoyed this. The first song was covered by Soulfly years ago so I loved hearing that one. A nice relaxed production, top stuff
A classic. The songs blend together so well, and there's so many more beautiful harmonies on there then just the known, Love of my life and Bohemian Rhapsody. Loved it!
A beautiful voice but the songs never really grabbed me I'm afraid
This was actually really awesome. Beastie boys haven't always been my bag but there's so many great beats on here and the album goes in all different directions...which is sweet
Absolute classic! Love this one
This one didn't really capture me. I gave it three stars cos I do like a lot of Sly's stuff and Everyday People is an actual classic!
Actually was really good! It reminds me a lot of Everclears Sparkle and Fade album, one of my faves
This was really good. The production sounds awesome. Will listen again
It was alright. Opening track is a banger. In general though, not my bag
Not really my bag but I liked the second half of the album. Rip off is a standout track tho!
Really great! Will listen again to this one!
Nah not really my kinda thing. Faith is a good tune though.
Ah not really my thing. Nothing I got in to
Didnt really grab me. New religion was a good song though
Pretty amazing album for so far in to bowies career. If you can see me is an absolute highlight. Amazing tune!
Such a great record! So many great songs and a ripping band. The second disc is my fave!
Yeh pretty good album. Great guitar sounds
Absolute classic. Always loved this record, a definite classic
Great album. Amazing voice!
Beautiful album. And a few classic tracks outside of the ones we all know. Enjoyed it
This was actually pretty good. Some pretty forward thinking stuff for late sixties.
This was actually pretty good. Solid tunes, American girl is a classic
Super cool! Mars volta is an all time fav of mine and I can see a lot of influences in this one. Awesome!
It was really good. Can see for its time that it was a forerunner of a lot of great music.
I tried to not give it five stars, cos it's not my favorite Waits album. But by the time I got through Jersey girl and on the nickel I have to put it down as an absolute classic.
Actually really enjoyed this! I was thinking it'd be two start at best going in but I was proven wrong. A great vibe and real Outkast big boi vibes throughout, which I love
Love Zappa. This album is amazing, Peaches en Regalia is one of the great opening songs for an album
Beautiful music but not really my cup of tea. All the songs started to sound a bit the same after a while
Not bad. He has a lovely voice, but again not really my cup of tea
This one really grew on me. Some amazing storytelling. Sister Ray is a big highlight. Amazing song. Here she comes now also a classic
A beautiful album. Love everything about this one.
This album is amazing! It sounds so great, so ahead of its time. A real unique sound
Actually a really great record. Really cool sounds. Personal Jesus obviously a classic
It's perfectly fine, but gives me a whole "yes, we have Radiohead at home" vibes
This feels like she heard sneaker pimps and portishead and wanted to cash in on their popularity. Some nice sounds but nothing here that those other bands haven't done better
This album is crazy good! I think about ten of these songs have been radio staples in Australia for a long time. Ten hit singles is unheard of right!! Couldn't give it five stars cos I'm not a truly massive fan of the peppers but this album is extraordinary
Amazing! I'm a massive pj harvey fan but I've never checked out Patti Smith. Who knew they were so similar. Also some great Dylan vibes here. Loved it
Not really my vibe. Can see how it might be pivotal in the shape of jazz music but just a bit boring for mind
This was really good. A really great edition to the classic albums of that era.
It was ok. Beautiful sounds but it felt a little dull. I do like a lot of Bee Gees stuff but this one got a little too orchestral. Lyrically it wasnt too bad, less saccharine then their other records
This was quite good. Similar to Patti Smiths Horses, this album has a definite PJ Harvey vibe to it. Really great
I didn't get in to it at all. An incredible amount of ideas and great players, but as a musical piece, it bored me
I do like moments of the beastie boys. But I think their voices grate on me and a whole album is a bit too much. Similar to bitches brew, I can see how influential it is but not really my cup of tea
Love sigur ros sooo much!! Was gonna keep my five starts just for their parentheses album, but listening again to this one it's too amazing!
If you haven't taken some kind of transport and put a sigur ros record on while u do it then do it! Amazing experience
It was pretty good. Nothing earth shattering here though. Reminded me of pavement a bit in parts, but not as good
I need to go back and redo some of my earlier ratings. Cos I have some 5 stars in there but this stands above. Can I give it 6?? I am a beatles fanatic and will give most of their albums 5 for sure, but even for their catalogue, this one captures them at an amazing moment. Georges contributions are unbelievable, Johns are unbelievable, they're all unbelievable! Truly an all time top 5 album in the history of music
Love muse! This isn't my favourite of theirs, but it has some incredible tunes. This was the last record before they headed a bit too far down the over the top pop road IMO
Really great record. Watermelon song is a classic. The 41 minutes for 4 songs is very prog, which I love!
Really enjoyed it. Some great sounds. Lyrically it's often a bit silly
Great record! I love prog rock and this is certainly that! Really goes all over the place in the best way
Stunning. Have loved this one forever but, as it's not available on Spotify, I rarely come back to it. It was a reminder how amazing this artist is and this album is her highpoint. Production on this album is perfect. I truly can't think of anyone or anything that sounds like her and that's pretty awesome in my book
Great sounding live record. Some great tunes in there but it all got a bit same same for me. Still, they must've been great as a live band
Amazing voice and great recording. Title track is an all time classic but the whole album is really great 👍
This doesn't have any of my favourite tunes from the stones. I'm not a great fan of all the cover versions people used to do back in the day. This was great though as you could hear the craziness of keith richards guitar playing and the incredible range of mick jaggers vocals which is what went on to help them create so many classic tunes
It was pretty good. One of the first pieces of music around my era that I hadn't heard of. Has a great sound reminiscent of passion pit/ walkmen/ lcd sound system kind of vibes
It's a nice sounding record, but didn't strike me as anything amazing
Beautiful record. Running up that hill is a classic but the proggy second half of the record is sooooo cool!!! Really enjoyed it
Wow, this is popular for a reason! Some amazing tunes here with some great instrumentation!
It's a nice country record. Well played but I didn't feel it was especially significant
Not really my thing. All the songs sounded very similar with little for me to get in to
Sounded really great. Some great tunes in here. They had a similar sound to foo fighters back in that time so surprised I never took time to listen to it. Will have another listen again soon!
It's a great beck record, but not my fav. He tries a few different things here, some are good, some not so much
Eh not my favourite. Some cool sounds probably not heard a lot back in 95 but today it doesn't feel as revolutionary
This could be another 6 star one for me. I'm a Dylan nut so the whole story of this time in Dylan's career makes this album extra special. The bravery to move to electric guitar after being held up as the greatest acoustic folk player is amazing. The band are on another level and Dylan's lyrics are at the peak of anything ever recorded. Stunning from start to finish
Really enjoyed this! I'll listen again. Influences by portishead and the like but still completely unique
Yeh it was ok. So many great albums from this era though and I don't think this is on par with a lot of those.
Soooo good! Hadn't listened through to this one before, it's awesome! It's Robert Plants voice at its absolute peak. Songwriting is awesome, playing is awesome...it's awesome
Great record. Preferred the last stones one I heard, but again, awesome experimentation here
I love this album!! They really condense the songs down to such an elemental level. His guitar playing is unbelievable and his voice is the same. These songs are one of the strongest set of songs you'll hear!
This was really good! I'm a big At The Drive In fan and I can see the influences of this all over it. Will definitely listen again
I do like REM. They have some amazing songs, but for me a lot are kinda forgettable. This album has "the one I love" which is awesome, but a lot of the rest of it I'm not massive on
I did enjoy this, even though his Jarvis voice isn't all too exciting for me. The two hits were great, disco 2000 is an all time classic. But I also enjoyed a couple of the tunes on the back half of the record. Live bed show and sorted for e's and wizz were cheeky unique songs too
Ah not really my kinda thing. The misogyny is a bit off putting for me. He has a lot a presence though and I love the story telling with the spoken word pieces
I loved Felt Mountain but this one didn't grab me as much
