1001 Albums Summary

Enjoyed the album when it came out. Still enjoy it Highlights: Black math Ball and biscuit Hardest button to button

First time listening to Kendrick Will check out some more

Quite possibly a great late career Leonard Cohen album. Don't know enough to make that call. Not really my cup of tea. Reminds me of tom waits

Solid 60s psych rock

Band on the run Jet Let me roll it Rest is meh

50s rock and roll Holds up today

Boring don't get the hype

Bon scott acdc What's not to like

Old time bluegrass

Standard 70s blues rock

Liked it more than expected

Still sounds awesome 50 years later. The blueprint for so much music after it. Solid classic important album

Solid album with some cool songs Have always liked death on two legs and prophets song. Feel they don't get talked about alot. Even enjoy the fluff songs like seaside and Sunday aft. Love of my life is much better on the live albums as the freddie/brian duet

An enjoyable organ driven instrumental jazz album

Too long. Not really my kind of music

Good enough album. Not my style

Solid debut album. Most songs are great

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Mix of early nine inch nails and the cure

Another album I enjoyed more than I thought i would

Not for me

Good album with some classic songs

Not a fan. Boring

Another good debut album. Lots of great tracks. Sounds great for 1967

Good modern vocal jazz album

Boring

I dont think this album is as amazing as the rest of the world seems to. There are good songs, maybe I have just heard some of them too many times. Enjoy the chain and gold dust woman

Not interesting

Not interesting

I enjoy3d this. Need to remember to listen to it again sometime

Sounds like Sinatra. Not sure if its better or worse than any of his other albums. Does the trick

Understand the historical importance. Not going to listen to it very often these days

Jane says is dogshit. Enjoy the rest of the album 😉

Nope. Boring

Johnny Cash in a prison. Badass.

Boring trip hop. Likely will never listen to any songs ever again. You get the gist of the whole album halfway through the first song

Its ok-ish

It was average 70s hard rock

Not something I would have chosen to listen to but I enjoyed it. Good new wave/pop rock

Thoroughly enjoyed this

Great album. Really like this. Need to add to rotation

No disrespect to bob Marley but fucking hate reggae music

Very "accessible" jazz. Good for a dinner party if you want to seem fancy

Not a bad album, not for me

Amazing album. Desert island album for me. First 5 stars

Its ok dance/club music. Not an everyday listen for me

No thanks

Not for me

Hipster bs

Might hate this kind of music more than reggae. At least as much

Vocals can get tedious but the guitar parts and general vibe are quite nice

By far the worst beastie boys album. The saving grace is i assume the success of this album gave them the freedom to do what they did with Paul's boutique and subsequent albums

Some ok songs. Lots of unnecessary nonsense noise as well

Forgettable

Catchy power pop tunes

First time listening to a complete Depeche mode album. I dig it

Some funky fun songs. Overall not really for me

I enjoyed this album but agree with some of the other reviews that it seems like a collec5ion of unfinished songs at times. Would lile to explore more music from this band but unsure where to start. There are a lot of albums

Not bad but doubt I would listen again

Solid album. Not a fan of a man needs a maid or there's a world. Everything else is great. Not my favorite Neil album but its up there

Johnny Cash in a prison. Badass. Think this one beats out san Quentin. Prisoners cheering to songs about taking cocaine and shoot bad bitches down

Enjoyed this enough. Has years for fears vibes. Will check out more

Enjoyed a handful of songs but overall this type of music is generally not my favorite. Season of the witch Sunshine superman Berts blues

Pride of Ireland

Not for me

Absolutely no thank you. Worse than reggae

Interesting to hear blues mixed with music from another country

Nope. Barely made it 3 songs. This is not for me

No skips album.

3rd rem album and the one I have enjoyed the most so far

Enjoy some songs but other are ambient nonsense which does nothing for me

No skips album.

Another album that is not objectively bad but not for me musically

Enjoyed more than I thought I would

Enjoy the songs that are songs. Don't enjoy the songs that are ambient nonsense

One of my favorite albums ever

Ignoring the hype around this album and the fact you've heard most of these songs too many times, it is a solid album

A strange choice for this list. Might have included a different slipknot album personally but I enjoy this type of music more than a lot of other albums that have shown up so far

Many songs sound sameish but its a sameish that I enjoy

Not a fan of our house but the rest of the album is solid. Plus jerry garcia on pedal steel

Not interesting

Too much ambient nonsense in between songs that I thoight were decent

Not a U2 fan but this album is not horrible

Never heard of this band before this. I enjoyed it a lot, will listen to more

2nd radiohead album i have encountered on here. Still not impressed. Music is ok but Thom Yorkes vocals annoy the shit out of me

Boring

Not interesting

Interesting concept I guess but not many good songs

This album always gets a ton of hype and praise and some.of the songs are good but overall not so much

Probably a fine album but not for me

Not necessarily my go to type of metal but there were some good tracks and compared to a lot of stuff on this list this is much my more kind of music
