Some songs really good. Somewhat monotonous album. Some songs a bit hysterical

Starts off with high energy and total chaos, was worried a bit too much energy! Then some quite good tracks, serious messages brought in a playful way. Then chaos again, sometimes ok, sometimes giving a headache.

First track really nice. Second not so great. Then some good tracks. They're all pleasant to listen to, though maybe some somewhat repetitive.

Bit out of tune, but the first few songs are quite fun. Then some tracks like smile on, ESP are a bit boring. Groove is in the heart is a classic of course!

Some beautiful songs on this album. I wasn't a huge fan of some of the more 80s style songs in the middle, but the others definitely make up for them.

Well.. someone found out their electric guitar amplifier has a distort knob. The music isn't awful but definitely not my thing. Too noisy.

The start and the idea behind this album is somewhat fun. It was considerably experimental. I couldn't finish listening and gave up after about 30 minutes. Perhaps I would've finished listening in a different mood. It's too long for this kind of noise.

Some quite fun tracks on this album. Some recognisable as they've been used as the music for other songs as well. Doubting between 3 and 4 stars as it got quite heavy at the end and I didn't really want to continue listening. Giving it 4 stars because I see myself putting it on again.

A lot better than the other album on here, actually sort of enjoyable. Still, probably wouldn't listen again.

Started off a bit slow-ish. Had a few good songs on it. I especially liked Strawberry Letter 23. The Freedom Flight song made me a bit dizzy for some reason. Giving it a 4* but I'm being quite generous.

Musically quite disappointing. The texts are ok but a bit vague. Feels like someone who's experimenting with some chords and song in their attic. Not much melodical diversity between the songs. Then one folky song in the middle and the live one near the end. Famous Blue Raincoat is quite pretty. Overall not annoying, but also not per se a delight to me.

I did not particularly enjoy this album, but it has mostly to do that I'm not a massive Prince fan. Didn't hate it either.

Pleasant at the beginning, then a bit sad and long winding (Nobody Girl) in the middleish. Most (but not all) of the second half of the album could've been left out IMHO.

Not his best album IMO. Started off okay, but after a while many tracks felt like they went on too long and had a bit too generic blues sound to me. Make you feel my love is quite sweet.

This is a fantastic album. Not necessarily all the way from start to finish but overall it keeps my attention and runs my emotions. Good memories too!

Not bad for a Christmas album

This was quite fun. Not for everyday, but nice enough to put on again. Also the minimal amount of vocals makes it good work background music.

Some of these songs went on for too long. Or were they different ones? Hard to tell, they were all so similar.. Had expected more of this album given that it features the classic "Alive".

Not bad but slightly boring so wouldn't put it on again.

Don't agree with "Drum and Bass" on wiki but ok. This album started a bit like a Buddha bar album which I generally enjoy. There were some more jazzy/loungy tracks later. Then there was a really whiny song "Nadia" which made me go a bit crazy. The track after was quite pretty though. All in all this album makes me think a little bit of cheesy-ish music at a beach club (even though the subject isn't that festive/romantic at all).

The songs are ok, but they sound more like the background songs of a movie. It's nice as background music but it doesn't feel like it deserves that much attention.

This album is one of my all time favourites. Great and catchy songs from start to finish. I think I have a slight preference for Volume 2, especially because some of the tracks on Volume 1 are just slightly too long sometimes. Nevertheless, both are great.

"Wow look at us, we're so cool" is the sentiment I had with this album. It wasn't too bad and the sound effects are ok. Quite intense, not necessarily in a bad way. Not for everyday listening IMO.

What a lucky week: Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, and now George Michael. This album is great from start to finish. Happy songs and sad songs. All so beautiful; his voice makes you melt.

Another punk album on this list.. Not as bad as some of the others, but also didn't particularly enjoy this album. Would say 2.5..

I quite like the funny lyrics at the start, as well as the peek into British culture. After that, the songs kind of went into a blur (pun intended) and overall this album just doesn't leave you with a feeling that it was all that. Perhaps it was because it was too long?

Enjoy the silence was good. The rest of the album wasn't bad, and I can see how people like it. I didn't mind it but also wasn't particularly drawn by this album, I found it a bit boring. I guess it's not really my style.

Really great album, pretty much start to finish. Wasn't the greatest fan of some of the slower songs in between, but liked that it was generally swinging and upbeat :)

Felt quite noisy/messy. To be honest, I also wasn't in the mood for this. It's clear why you hardly ever hear any of the songs on this album.

This album contains some good songs, but overall it feels very long and the songs start to blur because of their melodic similarity.

I was tempted to give this 5 stars as at an instant. I love this album, especially The Love Below. When listening, I realised I didn't know the middle/ending part of Speakerboxxx that well, because I usually turn it off around Bamboo. I do think Speakerboxxx has an amazing energy at the start, and I also like the last song. The Love Below is great from start to finish, and therefore, I usually put on that CD rather than the Speakerboxxx one. The second CD is great melodically, it's cool, makes you feel like a boss, and finally, it's also pretty funny! I remember my dad buying this album when I was a teenager and making a copy of both CDs (including the album covers) to play in my room with the bass turned to max. Especially Roses has such a great bass. Good memories. Overall I'd give this album a high 4.5 to 5 stars, because the Speakerboxxx album lacks a bit in the middle/end part. 5 stars it is, because overall both CDs combined just are an amazing experience!

This was like Depeche mode, but just not as good. And I'm already but a massive depeche mode fan, bar a few songs. Prefer not to listen again, but not terrible.

This is one of the most beautiful albums ever made. As one of my dad's favourite albums I've heard it many many times. I can't put my finger on it, but somehow it hits my emotions quite badly and therefore I find it hard to listen to this album frequently.

Nah, ok start; bit spacy to my taste. Then it just got worse. The best thing about this album is that it isn't that long luckily.

This album started off ok but quickly went onto pretentious indie hipster sounds. I was genuinely annoyed by some of the songs on this album. Many went on too long and this album felt too long in general. To my surprise it was only 60 minutes? Can you also imagine how stupid this guy is that he meant to draw a French flag, but actually drew the Dutch flag! Would've given it 3 stars but deducting one for that too.

Quite a pleasant album to listen to. Quite liked the softness, but not boringness of it. Wasn't blown away though. Contemplating between 3 and 4, veering slightly more to a 3 at the moment.

Some ok tracks and didn't hate it but overall a bit generic and didn't love it. So 2.5 stars? Afraid it'll round down to a 2.

I love most of the songs on this record.. a lot! Didn't like Blackmail Man.. at all! Really hard to decide between a 4 and a 5, but giving it 5 because it's quite original.

Another boring punk album

I found most of these songs a bit vague and boring. To be honest, some of the songs at the beginning I would've liked a lot more if they didn't sound like Prince kept the microphone a meter away from him and if the general mixing had been better. Also all songs on this album could've been cut in half as they just keep repeating the same minute over and over for 6 minutes each.

This didn't make my ears blead. I liked the end boss kind of vibe. But the grunting is too much so I just skipped to the end after the second song. Which was surprisingly calm!(ish)

This was ok. I didn't have any really positive or negative feelings with this album.

One of their best albums. I love all the quirky songs on this except the last one. Love to you also isn't my thing (see the pattern?). Still overall 5* for this magnificent piece of history!

I quite liked the songs themselves, especially Street Life (didn't know Randy Crawford wasn't the original!) but they each went on for a bit too long.

I knew most of these songs and I think they're quite amusing. They are quite repetitive and streched out though. I don't think I'd listen to this again as an album.

About as depressing (melancholical) as the cover would suggest. I was about to turn it off after the first track, but it got a bit better. I didn't really like the effect of a "skipping CD" on the second track and lightly on others. Overall personally didn't enjoy it all that much unfortunately.

First song started awful, then maybe slight recognition kicked in that stockholm syndrome and it seemed like an ok song? Turned it off at the 4th track, I like my ears too much for this.

"Everything must go" you can just chuck out this album.. didn't make my ears blead but I didn't enjoy the wall of distorted guitar and shoutsinging.

Very mixed feelings about this album. When I was distracted it was ok as background music, but not very noticeable. When you listen to it properly, it's pretty, but also utterly depressing. The Bed is very beautiful, but also quite messed up. Might listen again if I feel like sobbing.

I didn't really enjoy this. Each song was very repetitive within itself, e.g. just 5 words repeated over and over.

Unfortunately, this isn't my Radiohead album. I'm not sure what it is, it's perhaps too experimental, depressing, dystopian. We're used to that from Radiohead to some degree, but this album just doesn't hit the balance right for me.

Pretty decent album, though a lot of covers that weren't necessarily better than the original. "The Beast" sounded pretty racist?

I wouldn't say this is for me but it was less worse than I thought. In the end I was able to make it through the whole album, but barely.

Every time I thought it was going to get pretty decent they ruined it with a bunch of random noise.

There was maybe one song on this album I liked. The rest was boring at best, complete rubbish at worst.

This album could've done with just the hits. The "Lovesong" cover really ruined it for me. So cheesy.. The songs that weren't released as singles were too whiny. Was going to give this album 3 stars but Lovesong was the straw that as an album it's really not passable besides the, admittedly many, good singles.

Fuck Kanye

This started off pretty good but got very very whiny in the middle! Was about to stop it but got slightly better again at You and I, but not great.

Yeah this was ok, but it didn't leave me longing for more of it.

I guess some of the songs weren't too bad but overall this album didn't really do it for me. "Dumb Girl" more like "Dumb Song"

I didn't use to like Jamiroquai at all. I must say, this album pleasantly surprised me. However, towards the end, the songs got longer, more repetitive, until we finally reached the final track, which was plain awful.

One of the best albums ever made. All songs are pretty, Woodstock is cheerful, Our House so very beautiful, and 4+20 years so tender it can make me cry.

I had expected better from Cat Stevens, but then after a few tracks I remember that even his most famous songs are quite whiney. I also didn't like the sudden loud bits for literally no reason. Felt like I had to change the volume a few times. I guess 2 stars but I'll give it 3 for the few better songs.

Bit whiny but ok

This was pretty good. I felt like it was a bit Sinatra style, perhaps that feelint was enhanced by the cover. It's a bit melancholic to play at any occasion, but would be able to listen to again.
