Decent album and solid production. Way more punk/grunge than I expected, vocals reminded me of early Thom Yorke. appreciate the varied tracklist and sequencing but tf was up with that ska intro
strong 6, light 7
legendary album, perfect length for prog. Bill Bruford goated behind the kit
solid 70s Dad rock for good vibes or department store browsing. pretty clean production and 8 song tracklist is tight tbh
decent/strong 7
transcendent energy king!
classic, need to listen to this more + rest of Neil Young catalog
Strong 8/light 9, very nice
Strong 9 this is straight bangers
Youre laughing. Hes pissing on himself in the shower and youre laughing
Light 9. Student Demonstration Time seriously ways this down and disrupts the flow of the record being slapped right in the center. seems to me this album should be more of a psychedelic and atmospheric experience of a project rather than an eclectic collection of songs, so it feels out out place. plus the song is ass
legendary vocal performance, for sure influenced Attila Csihar
decent/strong 9
classic but not my favorite Jimi, strong 9 for me. raw production is great
surprising and enjoyable how noisy and psychedelic this was for Britpop, but way too long and way too meandering as a full album of similar tracks
Decent/strong 7
First half was a little boring and too barebones for me so made the project as a whole a bit bloated. Second half really picked up, great production and flows. Definitely hear the influence on Tribe
Enjoyed it, nothing super noteworthy imo
Probably more of a strong 9 for me but classic so 5/5
not my favorite Radiohead, but certainly a 10 and a fantastic listen
9/10 for me. really enjoyed the production and energy. hip hop gem
epic hedonistic club music. It Doesn't Matter hits
strong 7/light 8, white dad swaying with a cold one at the function music. Good listen
More of a 5, some solid tracks but overall pretty one note and bland
this was really good, definitely looking forward to revisiting
Honestly a 7/10 - good meld of prog, jam/psych and 2010s indie
(sic) through spit it out is a legendary stretch - haters can suck my nuts and just embrace getting their face melted off by OG corey taylor’s vocal performance
need active relisten on headphones, 1st track is mindblowing
solid 7, nice production. tim buckley's eclectic musical expertise translates pretty well here. pretty wild this is immediately after Starsailor. white boy funk
9/10, really loved this one
solid 7, very fun and out there. felt like Ween of the 70s
Some well constructed songs and melodies but the mixing is so ass this is gonna have to be a 2
really enjoyed it, need a relisten. production (or remaster?) is really great
Good vibes, album is long without much variety but it has a natural “jam” element to it I enjoyed
screamy man screamed and I screamed wittem
whats ma drug of choy, yoice?
solid 7, enjoyed it for the most part
7/10, not my favorite BB at all but groundbreaking and essential
Strong 7/10 id say - really rich production and more of a UK chill atmosphere than Blue Lines or Mezzanine
9/10, not my favorite maiden but a stone cold classic of the era. Probably in top 5 metal covers of all time though
great, funky soul jazz but left me a bit underwhelmed over 40+ min. not much variation
So basic but it could be worse, a 2.5 for me
some fun melodies, but a bit overlong and definitely lacking the presence of the other Pixies
not bad, however JT told me I’d be naked by the end of the song on Rock Your Body with 2 minutes left - I didn’t like that.
all respect but I couldn't stand this
closer to a 9 but probably my favorite R.E.M so far
felt like a 5 today, incredible stuff
this is not it, unless.....
wait..
if this is intentional.... the fellas might have been onto something
probably overly dramatic but this almost killed me
