So many forgotten bangers, especially at the front end. Bass line is 🔥
Kind of an overrated album imo - didn't find a lot of difference between some of the songs.
Impressive live set. Not a dancer, but the piano really made me want to get up and move.
Takes me back to formative days when we had Psychedelic Sunday on Q107 and far fewer cares. Good stuff.
This album was a bit unnerving, suspenseful and at times angry sounding - I didn't mind it at all.
Classic synth wave
Only ever heard the song watching the detectives by this band - deece album.
Did not enjoy this one very much - too many vocalizations and strange melodies.
Sultans of swing is a masterpiece
First time listening. My favorite song was 'Maybe the people would be the times or between Clark and Hillsdale'. Also great cover art.
Only enjoyed one or two of these - not my favorite English rock album.
A legendary DJ - The Message is one of the best hip hop songs of all time.
"did somebody say dominos?" Can really hear Dr. Dre's influence on the beats, so many bangers.
Into it
Very electric blend, I like that several tracks are continuous.
This album is bound to drop some panties.
Yeahhh no
Great album, great musicians, great riffs, stills holds true today. Rock and Roll Suicide is one of my favorite tracks.
Some of these "songs" sounds like every kids first time playing the organ sound effect on a keyboard, did not enjoy.
3.5 stars
Difficult to rate without understanding the lyrics, but pretty good riffs and drumming.
What's not to like? Big throwback to days of skateboarding and hacky sack.
Got into DJ shadow after watching Andrew Reynold's part in the Birdhouse skating flick called The End. "Organ Donor" stayed on my mp3 player for a long time after that.
"one" is my favorite off this album
One hit wonder? Can't listen to his voice for more than 1-2 songs.
5 stars
She definitely has some good songs but this album was too down tempo for me.
My mom played this album growing up. Hearing it again now I can appreciate it even more - she's a lyricist before her time.
Iconic album, I first heard the title track in a skate video. First time listening to it front to back.
Hit and misses. My favorite was In The Mouth A Desert.
Norah Jones played on repeat in the dining room of the kitchen I used to work at in high school. 4/5 for nostalgia.
Couldn't do it
Good stuff, drum solo and flutes are a nice mix. Moonchild was too trippy for me. Also noticed the first track is sampled on Kanye - Power.
First time listening to the whole album, not a big fan of the country sounding songs, but redeemed by the hits.
First time hearing them - a good ol rock band.
Getting The Cure vibes, just way more down tempo
Sounds like a real entertainer - would have been cool to be at one of his live shows.
All I can think about when listening to this is the show Frasier.
This album is definitely in my top picks and have it on wax.
I liked some of the instrumentals and cutting and scratching, but s few of their voices irked me. They get 3.5 stars.
Just not my kind of music
Let's go raving
First time listening - not bad, not great
The sax solos are wild.
I remember listening to this album on my Sony xplod boombox in junior high.
We need to bring back more skits. 2001 is the best Dre album in my opinion, but this is still highly regarded. 4.5 stars.
I regret not getting this on vinyl when I had the opportunity
2.5 stars - meh
They should be commissioned for some video games soundtracks. Some of these giving me Witcher or Assassin's Creed vibes.
One of my favorite grunge bands/albums.
2.5 stars
Wasn't a fan of U2 but objectively listening to this front to back I can't deny they are great musicians. 3.5 stars
Oh hell no

Had cars saved in Spotify but never heard the full album. Great tunes.

Gangstarr is top 5
Dig it - like a mix of badbadnotgood and Charles Bradley.
3.5 stars
Didn't know these guys did the jackass intro
A bit all over the place - mixes several genres in one album, hard to follow.
Good drum solos
Not my kind of jazz
Nuevo tango was ok, rest was boring
I guess I'm still not a Swifty
Top 5 all time. Hog got me this on wax.
First time listening - dig it
Not my fav Joni
Not good
Haven't heard these guys in about 20 years, first time listening to the whole album
Too twangy for me
Sounds like a good show
Good stuff - used to hear it all the time working in the restaurants
Kind of an annoying voice
Like a worse MF Doom, but not bad
3.5 stars
Sounds like chill drug taking music
Guy is a lunatic now but good album
Never heard of her, fits right in with eve and missy
Perfect for desk work
Roundabout is the best by far
This isn't music it's white noise
Recognized o children from Harry Potter.
Good in smaller doses
Twanged out
Not digging it very much
Long time since listening front to back, still really solid.
More panty dropping music
