Previously Heard: A few scorching tracks, a few meh ones. Not my favourite Dylan album. Quintessential Dylan listening nonetheless.

Time after Time perhaps one of the greatest songs ever. Girls Just Want to Have Fun undeniable bop despite how overplayed / overused it has become. As far as debut albums go it’s lightning in a bottle stuff. Overused synth keys, someone had a new toy in the studio and rinsed it. Enjoyable but won’t really return to anything bar the hits.

Timeless. Sample heaven. Soundscape.

Blueberry Hill is one of the greatest songs ever. Voice is great, some unreal piano work and vibes going on here but alas a full albums worth was just a bit much for me

Hard to think just how big an impact this had. The 80’s??? Insane. Raw, unapologetic, defiant. This still has lasting impact on the hip hop genre these folks RAPPED. Admittedly not something I listen to often but the beats n lyrics are chaotic and it is undeniable.

Desert Spanish holiday soundscapes. Not super my cup of tea would work awesome in films and I can appreciate it.

Although perhaps not my fav. Undeniably peak The Cure and perhaps contains the most Cure Cure sounds. Forgot about Hanging Gardens and Siamese Twins. Amazing.

Another album I very much knew before this list. One of those unique albums that just feel super nice on the brain. The title track slaps incredibly hard. The production is absolutely ridiculous layered, jazzy. Every person who performs on this album goes to town.

Love plus one is great. Not really my bag on the whole however.

Sublime. Had never heard before but has some proper put you in a trance stuff. Kinda like humans being attune to certain smells I feel like most humans would enjoy some of the sounds off this album.

Psychedelic funky genre changing and bending. Love it.

One of my favourite electronic albums. Funky soulful pumping. Sample heaven. Some really clean stuff.

Not really my thing but I most appreciated the album when it was either at its most frantic with punk or at its most folk country peak / blending these two together. Didn’t love the slower ballads.

Murky bluesy groovy

Despite yellow submarine being played to death, had actually forgot how many more iconic songs are on this. Not my fav Beatles but has some interesting tunes

Incredible. Easily one of my favs of the time and genre. One of those unique voices that guides you on a journey.

This is a brutal listen. Challenging in the best way. Haunting, abstract, shrieking. Intense avant garde jazz

Raw vulnerable. Pink Moon is goated hadn’t listened to this entirely before and wow. Self taught musician pioneering.

Angry white guy shit but I love it. Love nick Cave but hadn’t deeped this album. Some real haunting western shit.
