The White Album by Beatles
Jul 16 2025

Probably their most diverse record musically. It’s a classic for a reason.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Jul 21 2025

Good accompanying music. Coltrane’s playing is a bit over the top. Not my cup of tea.

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025
Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Jul 25 2025

From Folk to driving guitar anthems,Led Zeppelin has a far more diverse sound than given credit for.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Jul 28 2025

Jazz at its finest

Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Aug 06 2025
Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Aug 08 2025

Electronic music that sounds like it was groundbreaking when it was first released. Now it sounds like what you hear when you walk through a casino in Las Vegas.

Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
Aug 14 2025

Noise Punk is definitely not my jam. While I see what they were going for, I still hate it.

Transformer by Lou Reed
Aug 15 2025

You can hear the sounds that influenced a whole ton of band.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Aug 19 2025

Kinda interesting… kinda sad and depressing. Overall, it’s a decent record

Sister by Sonic Youth
Aug 21 2025
Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Aug 22 2025

Early Cure. More punk edged than anything else they’ve done, but with glimpses of what’s to come.

GI by Germs
Sep 03 2025
Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Sep 08 2025
Grace by Jeff Buckley
Sep 09 2025
Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
Sep 12 2025
London Calling by The Clash
Sep 15 2025

The record that matters most from the only band that matters

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Sep 17 2025

It made sounds that hurt

Blackstar by David Bowie
Sep 22 2025

Interesting but disjointed.

Violator by Depeche Mode
Oct 01 2025

This album is the sweetest perfection Start to finish it’s great. Amazing songs. Well paced. Not a note out of place.

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Oct 02 2025

Out there sounds and funk grooves that will sampled until the end of music.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Oct 07 2025

A covers collection that Willie makes his own.

Devil Without A Cause by Kid Rock
Oct 15 2025

Some things are inevitable. Death… Taxes… and Kid Rock putting out music that sucks.

Oct 20 2025

Seminal rap record. Unfortunately it hasn’t aged well due to subject matter and it’s a bit misogynistic. Later eclipsed by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube’s solo work. You can definitely see the blueprint for what’s to come from West Coast rap.

1999 by Prince
Oct 21 2025
Teen Dream by Beach House
Oct 22 2025

It had its moments. But overall not great.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Oct 23 2025

Incredibly diverse in its sound. Especially for a 00’s pop album. What’s great is really great. What’s mediocre is aggressively mediocre. If you can listen to this album in Spatial Audio,I highly recommend it.

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Oct 27 2025

Brooding, dark and theatrical.

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Oct 31 2025

A half baked album with one all timer.

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Nov 05 2025

Joni Mitchell is an acquired taste. Unfortunately, it is one I have yet to acquire.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Nov 06 2025

Melancholia at its finest. If I could rate in half-stars it would be a 3 1/2 star record.

American Idiot by Green Day
Nov 10 2025

Green Day’s most fully realized album. A must listen.

m b v by My Bloody Valentine
Nov 14 2025
The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Nov 17 2025

Sonically and musically amazing. Lyrically… not so much.

Diamond Life by Sade
Nov 24 2025

Island flavored smooth jazz pop confection.

Boston by Boston
Nov 25 2025

The foundation that classic rock radio was built on. The songs on this album are all in the overplayed hall of fame. There’s a reason that is.

Music by Madonna
Nov 27 2025

Solid pop record. More good songs than I remember originally.

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits
Nov 28 2025

This album didn’t suck as much as I thought it would.

In Utero by Nirvana
Dec 01 2025

What’s good is really good. What’s bad is really bad. Fortunately, the good outweighs the bad.

Shaft by Isaac Hayes
Dec 04 2025
Eliminator by ZZ Top
Dec 15 2025

How can an album be totally awesome and suck so much at the same time?

Jan 02 2026

I’m only giving this one star because you don’t have a choice but to give something one star. If it was up to me it would be removed from the list. I kept waiting for something redeemable in this record and it never happened.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jan 19 2026

Incredible album. For the time, their sound was revolutionary. While it seems unfair to dock it a star due to length, It drags on a bit too long. If some of the fat was trimmed it’s a perfect 5 star album. As is, it’s “merely” 4 stars.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jan 21 2026
Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Jan 26 2026

Very much a product of its time and also visionary. This one isn’t for everyone, but for the people it’s for, it’s a helluva record.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jan 27 2026

Feb 20 2026
Feb 27 2026

Wildly Bombastic! It has a little of everything. Almost like it should be the soundtrack to a medieval dystopian space western. The closest sound analogy I can make is Queen meets Depeche Mode.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Mar 17 2026

It droned on…
