It was a good jazz record until it finished and randomly started a Miles Davis song and suddenly I realised that the difference in quality is so high that I cannot rate this album more than a 3.

This is exactly the tone I want to get when I play guitar.

You’re at the beach, sitting on a terrace having a drink. It’s 2 a.m. and you don’t have to work tomorrow. This record is playing in the background. Life is good.

Indeed there isn't Curtis, indeed there isn't.

The music nerd in me cannot pretend to not like this album. Yes, is a nu-metal cliche and the rapping makes me cringe sometimes, but I hear Chester’s voice and it’s like I’m 14 again lying in my bedroom’s bed listening to the full album and enjoying it so so much. RIP Chester.

Sleep Away With Me

Live Through This was my only experience with Hole’s discography and Courtney Love’s music in general before listening to this record. I enjoyed it more than I expected; it has that kind of MTV vibe that makes me feel nostalgic for the good old times.

I can pretend, like most people on this site, not to like this album and give it a 1, but I actually like it. It has some good tunes.

The music is not bad, though it’s pretty forgettable.

Liam’s peak voice. Noel’s peak songwriting. Slide away still gives me chills every time I hear it.

I definitely could have died without ever hearing this album
