I've never listened to Iron Maiden so I was glad to have the opportunity to give it a go. It's comically bad. Maybe it was relevant when it was released but, in this era, it's like a Spinal Tap spoof of early metal.

Not that I was ever really a fan but I appreciated it for what it was when it came out. Now, it's really hard to listen to her vocal affect and the super 90's production.

I get its significance but I can't stand it.

It's interesting to listen back to this one. The songs are strong and catchy but Sheryl hadn't quite found her voice yet. TNMC almost a Rickie Lee Jones tribute album.

Schmaltzing up otherwise good songs.

This is my favorite Joni Mitchell album. It's the moment she expanded out of folk and weaved in jazz elements without losing the focus of the song. The stories of frustrating love affairs and David Geffen's frustration with the industry feel tangible and emotional. I know Joni is not for everyone but, if she is, this is the pinnacle.

This is my favorite album of the 21st century. Although, it sounds like it came from 1970, and sounds like it's been here all along. Haunting harmonies and pastoral songs.
