1001 Albums Summary

More of a fan of the earlier work of The Police, but this one is solid as well.

Marvelous job by the lads from Edinburgh. We’re well aware that the album is kind a “different” — but that’s actually its greatest strength. It’s melodic, incredibly rich musically, and you can clearly hear many influences from the region the artists come from. The metaphorical lyrics perfectly complement the fantastic atmosphere. Seriously, people — how can anyone not like this?

Product, made because of money, not passion, inspiration, the desire to create, or love for music.

Not a huge Radiohead fan, but this album is worth appreciating.

I'm not a fan of Prince. I even like synth-pop. The first half of this album is terrible. The second half even holds up. For a long time, I wanted to give it a ★★, but let it have a ★★★

Even a quite solid drummer couldn't save this shit.

The Rolling Stones rated this as the third greatest album of all time, which is a bit of an exaggeration. Nevertheless, it's a very solid and enjoyable album.

Overall, it's cleary obvious that there was too much acid in the game during recording, although the album has some good moments

I'm sure it's a good album, but unfortunately, it doesn't do much for me and feels rather average.

"The Sound of Someone You Love Who's Going Away and It Doesn't Matter" is a masterpiece. Rest of the album is terrible.

It seemed to me that the same song was playing over and over again.

I really struggled listening to this.

I might have given it ☆☆☆☆☆ if EJ wasn't gay.

Best Beatles album for me.
