Loved the strings. Surprised I’ve never heard of this guy and very sad to learn he died young. Production value was high.

A few good songs but forgettable.

Full of great tracks I never heard. Hip hop classic. The rhymes are incredible. Not perfect because of the stupid skits, gratuitous sex, and Puff Daddy’s failure to shut up.

I’m not sure I understand the other reviewers upset over cultural misappropriation. Just enjoy the music without overanalysis. This album is perfection.

Her voice is beautiful but every song on this album except Son of a Preacher Man sounds exactly the same. It was so boring during my morning commute it made me sleepy.

I didn’t know I love organ jazz but I do.

I hate Billy’s voice so much.

Musically I liked this. I wish I could understand even 20% of what Thom Yorke sings.

One of my favorites that has popped up yet. This was excellent, soulful, folksy and fun.

One of my fave LZ albums. Despite the fact that many don’t care for it, Tangerine, Immigrant Song, and Gallows Pole will always rock. Since I’ve Been Loving You may well be LZ’s best song.

Except for My Wife, a perfect rock album.

Not a hip hop person but this was a fun listen. The top half is much better than the second.

Musically I see potential in this. I just personally hated it.

I really enjoyed this - fun upbeat music, a party for the ears. Reading the wiki and learning the backstory made the record feel sadder though.

3.5 - a fun listen but gets repetitive.

Her voice is heavenly but the songs with few exceptions were just boring.

I do not get Radiohead.

I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would after reading the wiki.

I appreciate that this was ground breaking at the time, but I hated listening to it.

Easy 5. I wish I had a Time Machine and could go back to 1969 and hear the opening notes of Good Times Bad Times and get irrationally excited for the future of this band.

Dreadfully boring music

I drew this album on a Friday and listened to it three times through Sunday. What an absolute joy. I can’t believe I’d never listened to this all the way through. The songs are all short, fresh and fun. Hints of ska with punk rock. Favorite tracks included: Death or Glory, Stand by me, Rudie can’t fail, and Spanish Bombs (really enjoyed Joe Strummer’s bad Spanish accent).

3.5/5. The top half was excellent and of course Fast Car is timeless. The back half of the album didn’t do as much for me.

Ice cream man sucked. The rest of the album was pretty great.

This kind of album is why I signed up for this. I’m not sure I was ready for Dr John though.

My second Nick Drake - I’m grateful for this challenge for introducing him to me. I love the sad, melancholy guitar and lyrics.

Maybe the best break-up album I’ve ever heard. Standout tracks include Idiot Wind, You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome and of course Tangled Up in Blue. Dylan’s songwriting shines.

I liked the second side with more piano. First half big band music wasn’t my favorite.

Beautifully simplistic

I think people hate on Coldplay because it’s cool to hate them. This came out when I was in high school, but I never listened to anything but Yellow. I found this album super chill and easy to listen to. It’s like Radiohead, but you can actually understand the singer.

As someone who loves old county, I really enjoyed this. Album does not have any of Merle’s hit/radio songs. It’s all very sad but still easy to listen to.

This was so much fun.

Did I hate this album because the music sucked or because Morrisey is an asshole?

I was feeling badly about giving Linkin Park 2 stars when I thought - stupidly so in hindsight - that they made a 1-star album. Then I drew this album and realized this nonsense is what 1-star reviews are for.
