MIIDDDD IT ALL SOUNDED THE SAAME the only good songs were out of time and mother's little helper. maybe if i wanted to be a cowboy i'd listen to this and pretend i'm in a saloon nursing a whiskey on the rocks butttttt rn no thanks #thebeatlesarebetter
oh my god this is literally the best thing i've listened to in a WHIILLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
last night i dreamt somebody love me is one of the best songs ever by the smiths it is my love my one and only if i could marry this song i would HOLY SHIIITTT IT HIIITSSSSSS the background oh my god this is literally on par with i know its over it is so beautiful I LOVE LAST NIGHT I DREAMT SOMEBODY LOVED ME OH YM GOD
i want them to smooch me but also highkey mid best songs are welcome to the jungle and sweet child o mine like thats it
update: after letting it marinate it was super boring actually i think i could've lived my life without listening to it
not the beeeestt jazz album i've heard in my life but still good :p
it would be five stars but the songs were kinda repetitive
good only because its super nostalgic
very good but some songs were boring
this is so snazzy i love it. makes me wanna go to a jazz club at night in a cute outfit. update: i think sally is the best song on this album omg update 2: OH MY GOD I WILL BE YOUR FRIEND IS SO HEAVENLY
pause this si amazin
wait this is one of the best albums i've ever listened to in my entire life oh my god
oh girl i love this album
listen it’s good but i think i’m not usually in the mood for 2000’s nostalgia rn… but its good like i know for a fact if it was summer time i’d be going crazy over this, but right nowwww no thanks
i don’t understand the low reviews of this album. it’s a generic 90’s album and i think that’s what’s fun about it!! not everything you listen to has to be revolutionary. sometimes a feel-good album is just what you need. it might not be the best thing i’ve ever heard but it’s definitely going to be one of those albums that stays with me and serves as nostalgia, and i think that’s good enough.
these songs keep catfishing me it always starts off sooooooo good and then just slowly gets worse. it's getting on my nerves. so far the only good song is colin zeal.
update: kind of eating my words rn the first 2 songs i think were just sucky this is kinda cool (i might be getting catfished again)
okay here's the issue. the instrumentals by themselves are so cool, they're smooth, they're rock, they are so snazzy. the problem is when damon albarn starts singing. in some songs it fits the vibes, he manages to add this kind of down to earth feeling to it, in my opinion. i think this is especially prominent in girls and boys, coffee and tv, and to the end (la comedie), and of course, song 2. the problem is in this album, his voice tends to get annoying. a lot of the songs just don't suit him stylistically. for example, chemical world as a song is actually really good! but as soon as this guy starts singing you start to get annoyed with it. maybe this is just the radiohead nerd in me, but if i heard someone with a voice like thom yorke on these tracks, i think i'd enjoy them so much more. in conclusion, his voice is what's ruining it.
okay that was honesylu super long for no reason but, yeah those are my thoguths :3
it's a good album for sure, but i don't think it deserves a place on this list. it reminds me a lot of the zombies and oingo boingo as a fusion. it's fine, but it doesn't have much of an impact on music today. in all, i enjoyed it, but i don't see myself recommending it to anyone.
every time i think i've over pink floyd and that they're overrated i listen to any one of their songs and my opinion switches immediately they are so cool
i love alice in chains they never disappoint they make me wanna learn how to ride a motorcycle in nevada like please
I LOVE new age jazz so much man its so good. a remark you made has to be one of my all time favourite songs its so cool in a heyo daddio kind of way. like im smoking a cigarette rn as i walk down the street as the sun sets i love it i love it i love it
i know it's good but i think i'm just not in the state of mind to appreciate it
it made me feel like a cowboy in a saloon nursing a whiskey and it fit the vibe i had at the moment but i cannott see myself listening to this all the time. the songs were very repetitive and sounded the same, but if you wanna escape reality and pretend you're a lonw cowboy exploring the south, sure, its cool.
very much not for me. i don't consider myself a country hater, but i feel like newer releases in the genre tend to be bland. whenever i sit down to listen to them, it tends to be very superficial. anyways yeah 1 star, not pour moi.
it was really bad actually but the theme was great i thoroughly enjoyed it.
man, i'm really sad i don't like it! i can tell that it's a good album like for sure maybe if i was younger i'd enjoy the hell out of these songs but i really just can't. i've already been through this phase and i think i've just grown out of it. hey, who knows! i'm only 17 maybe when i'm older i'll actually really like it. right now though, no thanks.
this is actually way better than i expected from public image ltd.. the first album i listened to was "public image: first issue" and i loathed every second of it. seeing that this was the album generated for me just a few days later was, in the moment, devestating, but to be honest, this was a very enjoyable listen! i ended up loving a LOT of songs on this album. radio 4 is the perfect way to end an album, it is so groovy. the whole tracklist made me want to start painting or drawing again- it revived my love for being creative! that's what a creative and thought-out album can do to someone, it can inspire them to do the things that they love. originally, i thought that this album wouldn't deserve a place on this list, but i was proven wrong. this was an amazing listen and i would recommend it to anyone who needs a little bit of something new in their life.
i'm underwhelmed. really nothing to say.
okay this is an album that has to grow on you. for the first couple songs i wasn't very impressed. then, sail away came on and i fully understood why this album is on here. this is an amazing rock album. the tempo changes in sedan delivery shook me immensley, it was so gorgous. this is for sure one of my favourite songs in the whole world now. overall, such a good album especially near the end, you just need to give it a chance.
i never liked cyndi lauper growing up, which is very weird (or unusual, one may say ((hehe haha i am so funny)) ) because her whole brand is something that i usually would be obsessed with. my dad, on the other hand, is a huge fan of her music and would play it all the time. i would get annoyed every time i'd hear her raspy voice, finding her to be extremely obnoxious. i saw that this album had been generated for me and i was immediately dreading pulling it up. now, i actually realize why this woman is so successful. when "money changes everything" came on, something just clicked. this album is just banger after banger! she is differnet. she wasn't afraid to do something unique and truly be her authentic and unapologetic self. she makes creative and feel good music that is necessary for society. it seems everyone today is so angsty and negative about everything, which is understandable considering the current state of it all, but you can't live your life in a constant state of pessimism. you're just doing harm to yourself and everybody aroud you. every time i turn on the radio, everything is so broody and aggressive and vulgar, it ruins the vibes!!!!!!! can people just be creative? all these people are trying to be something they're not and it's slowly morphing all of us into one. we are all individuals! we should take after cyndi lauper and learn to be OURSELVES. this has honestly just turned into one huge ramble, but whatever if anybody actually ends up reading this they get to witness a 17 year old girl going kinda crazy while procrastinating on their homework. i will say one more thing though. my friend and i were talking to our french teacher a couple weeks ago about fashion and music, and she told us that when she was in high school, people all dressed differently. people had their own styles and were innovative while trying to look cute on a budget. she told us that now she never sees anyone who actually looks unique anymore and that she can't tell who we are through how we dress anymore. that last part just stuck with me. you cannot tell who a person is and their interests just by their outfit anymore, and it sucks! i've made it my goal to dress as "me" as possible every time i go out now. anyways this album is actually amazing and i think it's one of my favourite records ever now.
people are such buzzkills! constantly talking about how they copy the doors or are just a "watered down version" of the doors; who cares!! the doors makes great music and i don't see what's so bad about another band that makes music like them. they are so groovy and make me want to dance. 5 stars this is insanely cool.
innovative and very enjoyable to listen to!
This is maybe one of the most booooring and annoying album i've ever listened to in my life. i hate rem
this is such a boring country album there are so many better to options to choose from
this is absolutely beautiful oh my godddddddd "The Seventh Seal" is the perfect intro to an album i've ever heard in my entire life so so so good this is gonna be my summer album.
i literally can't with this why am i at a restaurant with my dad and his friends
everyone giving this album a 1 star is so fake oh my gooooooddd like yes he did terrible things but you can't just hear on sight and not go kind of crazy in a good way. like listen he's a shit human being, i hate him so much, but you have to admit his music was amazing. people rating it a one star saying he's "talentless" are just racist i think. like sooooooooooooo many artists on this list have been pedophiles, drug addicts, racists, etc, but you still listen!!! and you still give good ratings to them!!!!!! and it's because they are white!!!!!!!!!! you only care about it when it's being shoved down your throats. he's an asshole and a terrible person, but this is a MUSIC rating app, not a news station. can you people be normal for once. anyways it's definitely not his best album, but it has some great tracks. 3 stars.
i have loved this album for years and i will love it for years to come. bossa nova is one of my favourite genres in the whole world. jazz is such an art.
i've listened to this album COUNTLESS times i love radiohead so much they're one of my favourite bands ever. 15 step is playing as i write this and i am dancing in bio while tryna work on my project worth 10% of my grade :D
anyways my favourite tracks are probably 15 step, faust arp, and jigsaw falling into place. i don't even need to listen to this album again to rate it but i will just for funs. 5 stars this is one of my fav albums.
i honestly wish i liked it more than i do. it's such a cool album but idk it's not clicking!!
man idk what it is but i just can't get behind the talking heads! i can acknowledge that their music is good but i just don't enjoy it. i see the appeal though. there were a couple songs i did enjoy though, like air, i zimbra, and mind. idk this is an album that either hits or doesn't depending on my mood. anyways, overall it's again a 3 stars.
it's so fine. like it's such a fine and uninteresting album. i see that there are things to like about it, but idk i'd rather listen to something else.
I WISH IT WAS BETTER. it's literally so good i love the instrumentals i think that they're gorjeena but like the lyrics and melody just isn't doing it for me. the saxophone hit and i was sooooo shocked like no way thats so good? but then it just disappointed me.
noooot a fan which is weird because i usually love the beatles. i think their later works are masterpieces but noooowww it’s like mmm you’re still babies ykwim.
oh joni mitchell my canadian queen....
idk why i've never listened to this album in full, it's a masterpiece there's no way that people aren't talking about it more.
this is such a beachy album. i wanna go to the beach now. i wanna look like this album it is so fun.
i need to buy this album on cd. this is beautiful i haven't heard music so good in a while. such mellow and cool tracks. the guitar is beautiful.
it's definitely good but i honestly just think i'm not in the mood for folk musci rn
honestly it was good but a little dark for my liking. still a great album i love the guitar riffs and the lyrics. it’s really foggy out as i’m listening too so it set the vibes nicely!
not really a fan, but i see the appeal
i'm really sad that i only liked 'I'm Glad' off of this album. i always loved that song and i thought that the rest of it would be the same, buuutt i was wrong. not for me, but that's fine!
not every song on this album is amazing but every good song is so fucking good that it compensates for the ones that are lacking so it gets a 5 stars i love queen
it's whatever. (AAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA)
very much beatles-esque. not a bad thing, but i've heard better from the kinks. my favourite songs off of this album would probably be little miss queen of darkness and sunny afternoon.
one of my favourite albums ever
the most mediocre rock album i've heard in my entire existence i hope it burns
god this album was all i'd listen to when i was 15 on the bus home from school i truly believe nick drake can do no wrong
only good song was the killing moon otherwise soooooo boring
i'm unfortunately still a beatles dickrider i fuckin love those guys.
i loved a lot of the songs but the latter half of the album lacked substance in my opinion. i thought it was really cute though!
okay i liked part 1 waaaaay more than part 2 but overall it was cool!
the latter half is waaaaaaaaaayyy better than the first
nina simone has the ability to captivate me with her songwriting and keep me hooked for the entirety of her albums. i feel enlightened after listening to her, as if i’ve reached a higher state of being. i love this woman.
hell yeah i feel like im in a movie from the 50's at a dinner party wearing a cute dress with my hair all done up whilst slow dancing with my lover like heellooururrr 5 stars nothing to dislike about this album
honestly pretty solid and im sad its not on spotify
i cannooot get behind punk i just dont like iittttt :(
sounds like what i thought being a teenager would be when i was a kid
god i love paul mccartney
honestly i didn’t like it and then i loved it and then i hated it and then i was okay with it soooo 2.5 rounding to 3
the only coldplay song that’s ever got me so hype is viva la vida and yeah that’s it’s such a boring album like okay yeah we were all yellow i GUESS
its duke ellington. what could go wrong?
didn't expect to like it as much as i did tbhhh
HE SHOULD HAVE ENDED IT IWHT HOW!!!!! oh yoko is so dumb man like okay we get it you love her or whatever im so annoyed
fineee im not in the mood for hip hop rn i cannot
LA blues is the best song on this album. otherwise.. meeeeehhhhh. somebody said this was exhausting to listen to and frankly i agree. suuuuuper boring
so fucking boring holy shit okay tom petty we get it you are tom petty and youre HOT THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE GOING FOR YOU
the tracks where he isn't singing are the best part. a lot of sufjan stevens's songs sound a lot alike, but the instrumentals this album had are beautiful. the rockers of the rock river valley region is an example of this. if sufjan stevens made the score for a movie, it would easily be amazing, but his lyricism is where he starts to lose me.
UPDATE: i lied actually.the predatory wasp of the palisades is out to get us is maybe the best song on this album. i am about to cry it is so good. i spoke too soon, i think a lot of this album is just lowkey ass because this song is beautiful,
UPDATE 2: OKAY I THINK THE FIRST HALF WAS JUST ASSSSS because the second half has me actually happy. this also may be because i finally understand what's going on in chemistry (im studying while listening fyi) but like i am JOYFUL!!! the second half of this album is way better its boosted to a 3 stars. overall its a 3 star experience, but the latter half of this album is maybe 4 dare i say 4.5 stars. the tallest man is giving charlie brown realness
okay i finished the album i lied it is a 4 stars it's like a book that starts off shitty but ends off with such a high note you feel like you could conquer god.
you guys are misereable this is a good album it is such a night time vibe
and if you're lonely.. you know i'm here (im referencing the military propaganda)
love metal hate metallica i think theyre stupid
i feel like im watching the drama shows my mom and aunt used to watch when i was a baby. then my dad comes in to have a little dance break with imagine by john lennon and then we go back to watching more arab drama shows

i usually think the doors are kinda mediocre but this is better than i expected. i LOVE blue sunday and queen of the highway.
my headphones died the minute i finished this album and i'm devastated because i was going to replay it all day :(
so boring. i am so indifferent towards this album. it's just so boring idk what else to say.
zHONESTLY so much better than i was expecting. i typically have low expectations for blur but this is great.
like yes and if you think no then youre racist
