The band sound as bored as I am. Jingly jangly guitars performed by mediocre musicians. There isn't an ounce of originality amongst them. 1 extra point because Take Me Out has rattled around in my brain for the day, annoyingly.

I thought it was Beck at first. I quite liked Radio Cure and I'm The Man Who Loves You but overall a bit too nice for me. No need to ever hear it again.

I liked the uptempo songs. Blue Suede Shoes is an all time classic. Otherwise, not for me.

What. A. Voice.

They go on to bigger and better things but this feels like just a bunch of lazy covers. Disappointing.

Although I liked it musically I found his voice grating.

This was a pleasant surprise. Mr Skin was my favourite, the presence of horns made it feel soulful.

Easy 5 for me. I'm not into dance music but the punk ethos runs through this album. Love it.

There's absolutely nothing on here to recommend. No good songs, no riffs, no musicianship, no good lyrics. Just no.

I'd been waiting ages to hear some hip hop and then I'm served this mediocre slop. How did this get on the list but there's no Saul Williams? Lazy and uninspired.

A landmark album that has aged well musically but not aged well at all lyrically. It has one of the all time great hip hop openers.

Starts with a classic and ends with a classic. Good album, but I know there's far better Bowie albums to come.

Well I enjoyed that way more than I thought I would. Liked the first 2 songs and Here I Am, but Early Morning Breeze is my favourite. Some excellent song writing with a sense of humour.

First half is a stonking 5/5 but everything after Nothing Else Matters is meh.

A rare album that I have loved since the very first listen. It sounds like a chaos train barely hanging on the track and it's utterly brilliant.

A long and repetitive album. Buick Makane is a belting song. When they turn to straight up rock it sounds great.

This is, without doubt, the worst shit ever inflicted on my ears. Jingle jangle guitar + whiny voice = utter aural carnage. I just don't get it. Shitty jingle jangle guitar but worst of all is fucking Morrisey. It's a beautiful sunny day and I've got to listen to his whiny bullshit. Some of the stuff I've listened to has been boring but this actually makes me nauseous. Why would anyone choose to listen to this?

Not his best collection of songs. Too many slow ones for me but I do like Boogie on Reggae Woman.

A couple of nostalgic singles but nothing else to recommend.

Some class blues with the silky smooth as gravel voice of Rod Stewart.

Nothing for me here. I don't mind some plinky piano nonsense, or even twangy guitar nonsense. But I didn't sign up for any squealing trumpet nonsense.

Overblown operatic rock. Haven't heard it in 40 years so an extra point for the nostalgic feels.

I'm afraid 1 finger synths don't do anything for me. An extra point for the couple of tracks that registered in my memory.
