Will The Circle Be Unbroken by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
May 28 2025

I can't make myself listen to country even if my life depends on it and this album did not change it

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
May 29 2025

Not my favorite genre but was nice to listen to while running

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
May 31 2025

It is a decent record I guess but in no way can I connect with it. Too much love and jesus for my taste

Jun 01 2025

It was surprisingly entertaining. But 1 hour of this is too much for me

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jun 02 2025

The first track was promising but the rest was boring

L'Eau Rouge by The Young Gods
Jun 04 2025

definitely deserves attention. i dig the music but the vocals is what prevents me from loving it fav track: Pas Mal

Midnight Ride by Paul Revere & The Raiders
Jun 05 2025

it's good but not very impressive never heard of this band before fav tracks: Kicks, All I Really Need Is You

Clandestino by Manu Chao
Jun 06 2025

Not a fan of such music but the album was ok The description was more interesting than the album itself though. Fav tracks: bongo bong, mama call

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Jun 07 2025

nice record but not really memorable, mostly generic. fav tracks: colorbars, everythng means nothing to me

Jun 08 2025

I promised myself to listen to this without skips and try to understand what the deal with Tom Waits is but ... Nah, couldn't make it. The album becomes boring too soon. The music itself is not bad at all. But the songs are all the same and those intros and laughs are annoying as hell.

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Jun 09 2025

A nice record, beautiful voice. Only got halfway through until I fell asleep though. Thought I would return to it next day but I really don't feel that I need it now. I think that's enough for now. Maybe some day later.

Sail Away by Randy Newman
Jun 11 2025

Was better than I thought. Half of the songs are too cheesy though Fav tracks: Last Night I Had A Dream, You Can Leave Your Hat On, God's Song

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jun 13 2025

Loved it

Boston by Boston
Jun 14 2025

There's nothing bad or too annoying it's okay

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Jun 15 2025

It's ok but nothing impressed me.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Jun 16 2025

Wow. Totally unknown name for me, didn't know what to expect and it was a really exciting listen. It is complex and eclectic, diverse, conceptual work of art. I only give it 4 out of 5 because although my brain understands how great it is, my soul doesn't fully align with the vibe.

Dookie by Green Day
Jun 17 2025

Booooring. Couldn't listen without skipping

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Jun 19 2025

An odd recording but I enjoyed it. The story behind it explains why it came out this way

The Yes Album by Yes
Jun 20 2025

It's a decent album and was a pleasure to listen. But, it's not really essential and I probably won't play it again cause there's a lot of more interesting stuff out there. Five star system is not enough to express my opinions on albums. 3 is too little and 4 is too much. I give this album 4 out of 5 but this 4 is closer to a 3 than a 5.

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Jun 21 2025

Never heard of him before. After reading the description, imagined something else (worse). Was a pleasant listen.

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Jun 22 2025

I just can't listen to this, too boring

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Jun 23 2025

generic boring indie where pretty much nothing happens and every song is the same. Electronic Renaissance is fun though

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Jun 25 2025

It was ok

Chelsea Girl by Nico
Jun 27 2025

like the raw and minimal feel of the sound. if only it was more diverse in terms of melodies, it wouldnt be that boring.

All Directions by The Temptations
Jun 29 2025

thought i'd give it 3 stars but couldn't stop skipping. not my vibe at all i guess

Jun 30 2025

well i don't understand it at all, in a bad way. this actually sounds like shit and a long one too, i just can't handle it

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 02 2025

a good album, enjoyed it even if it's generally not my vibe

Goo by Sonic Youth
Jul 15 2025

it is enjoyable

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Jul 16 2025

didn't know who he is and didn't know what to expect judging by the cover. turned out to be a pleasant and calming listening.

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Jul 17 2025

Listened before. One of my fav albums of all time

Ramones by Ramones
Jul 18 2025

A classic, bad enough to be good, was listening to it while sniffing my glue

Jul 19 2025

It's the first time I hear this band. Sound design is definitely appealing. Songs seemed repetitive and hipsterishly pretentious at first but I started digging it closer to the second part of the album. Overall it was a nice listen. Fav tracks: Kids, Of Moons, Birds & Monsters The Handshake

Rocks by Aerosmith
Jul 20 2025

Never heard much from Aerosmith apart from a couple of their hit songs that were generic but kinds ok. Listening to a whole album of this was a tough job but it was worth it to get to the last track (the only one I liked). Thus 3 stars

Jul 21 2025

Never listened to a-ha, only knew a couple of songs, and I liked this album

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Jul 22 2025

I disliked Jar of Flies and didn't expect anything from this album but Dirt works so much better for my taste with its darker sound, I really loved it

Technique by New Order
Jul 23 2025

I like new order but this album is somewhat mediocre

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Jul 27 2025

Listened before and love it

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jul 28 2025

I am not sure if I've listened to this album before bc they're all kinda the same to me. It didn't change my impression from Iron Maiden: the music is technically well composed and played and everything's cool but it's just boring and predictable and cheesy as hell. Works ok as a background music.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Jul 29 2025

Cute album. At first it seemed too boring but it grew on me

Jul 30 2025

as a kid growing up with MTV I saw a lot of Eminem's music videos. back then they seemed entertaining and fun but I never really liked rap music and I've never listened to a full Eminem album. yesterday I listened to half of this album before getting interrupted, and after that I just didn' feel like continuing bc I didn't hear anything new, everything felt predictable and uninteresting. huge issue I have with most rap records including this album is the lyrics that go "I am this" "I am that" "I am cooler than those bitches" and it goes on and on and on and I just don't get how adult people can write these kinds of lines without cringing while saying them out loud. 3 stars for Stan and that MTV nostalgia mood.

Pyromania by Def Leppard
Jul 31 2025

a nice classic hard rock album. not very interesting and not too boring

Snivilisation by Orbital
Aug 01 2025

interesting experimental electronic music

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Aug 02 2025

I remember all the hype in 2000s about Franz Ferdinand. Lots of positive reviews in music magazines, like they were the new Beatles or something like that. Didn't understand it then and don't understand it now. This album is okay but really nothing special. Liked the song Michael though.

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah
Aug 04 2025

I even liked it at first for the sound and work with samples but it's impossible to listen farther without skips

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Aug 07 2025

it's good overall but gets boring soon, and so not my vibe

Different Class by Pulp
Aug 08 2025

expected to hear some boring britpop but it's really really good

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Aug 23 2025

Enjoyed listening to this.

Walking Wounded by Everything But The Girl
Aug 24 2025

Not what I imagined reading the description and quite a pleasant listen

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club
Aug 25 2025

very repetitive and not really interesting

Kid A by Radiohead
Aug 26 2025

I hated Radiohead but it changed when I started composing music myself. Then I suddenly started digging Radiohead. Still, listening to it cautiously, one album at a time. Loved this album

Elastica by Elastica
Aug 28 2025

What sucks about this album: it has too many songs. What's good: the songs are short. Some of them are good. btw Waking Up really sounds like No More Heroes

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Aug 29 2025

Well the description was more interesting than the content... The covers I recognized were uninteresting and I don't know if other tracks are covers too. Maybe it has to do with production but the sound of sitar is grating here.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Aug 31 2025

One of my favourite albums of all time

Suede by Suede
Sep 01 2025

another great find here

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Sep 02 2025

never heard of him but certainly heard the first track (and it's a great song) in some tv series. a good album despite its name

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Sep 03 2025

Although not everything works for me in the 20 minutes long title track, it is a great listening experience overall

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Sep 04 2025

A cute album and I love the fake zombies story I read here in the comments

Dog Man Star by Suede
Sep 05 2025

this is the second album from Suede in this list and it does not disappoint

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Sep 06 2025

never listened to a full killers album before and it's incredibly cheesy teenager stuff that didn't age well. three stars instead of two only because of somebody told me, it's a fun song

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Sep 07 2025

as someone exposed exclusively to western (british/american) music for as long as i live i don't dig latin vibes at all and usually they bore me to hell. but this album is pretty enjoyable, almost every time i reached for the skip button something grabbed my attention, i didn't skip too much and i really liked several songs. well it's much more fun than listening to the killers album so i'll even give it 4 stars

Kilimanjaro by The Teardrop Explodes
Sep 18 2025

a nice new wave / post punk album

Van Halen by Van Halen
Sep 19 2025

It's fine. One of the most generic albums I've listened to. All the songs are the same. But given the time it was released I guess it sounded more novel then.

Arrival by ABBA
Sep 20 2025

well it's abba not much to say here

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Sep 21 2025

it's pretty good. three stars but closer to four

Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service
Sep 22 2025

surprisingly pleasant to listen as a background music

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Sep 23 2025

It's not a bad album but I just can't cause the mix quality is painful, it sounds muddy and dull with lack of depth. feels like my ears are blocked. listened to remastered 2012 but it didn't help. it was probably done deliberately but i can't agree with this decision

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Sep 24 2025

it's not the first time i'm trying to listen to his records but it just doesn't work. i understand it's good. the sound is so clear and the mixing is so good. it just that his music doesn't work for me at all and i can't make myself like it.

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Sep 25 2025

liked it at first but then it became boring, too long too repetitive

Shaft by Isaac Hayes
Sep 26 2025

definitily skipping this. haven't seen the movie and i guess i'll die before listening to the soundtrack

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Sep 27 2025

it's a fine jazz record but something doesn't work for me here

The Trinity Session by Cowboy Junkies
Sep 30 2025

first country record i can listen without cringing. it's not very traditional country though. ***

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Oct 01 2025

what's that with cars being in every song lyrics? the album is fine, just not my cup of tea

Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby by Girls Against Boys
Oct 02 2025

At first I liked it. Then it became too grating and boring and i was going to start skipping tracks and then it somehow drilled its way inside my head and the skipping didn't happen. I liked its dark depressive monotonous sound.

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
Oct 03 2025

it was hard to listen, kinda tired from all the rap albums i've tried to listen. but, this one's lyrics are not bad at least he's not saying "nigga mf" every 5 secs 3 stars out of respect

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Oct 04 2025

it was very hard to listen. i mean the music is kinda ok. the lyrics are unbearable. and those intros to every track... skipped half of the album. i know it's a classic but i just can't

The Sensual World by Kate Bush
Oct 06 2025

Never heard this album but knew in general what to expect from Kate Bush it's a gem, loved it

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Oct 07 2025

Thought I'd want to skip it as it is a soundtrack to a movie I've never seen and am not really planning to. But it's a pretty good album by itself, and I am not usually fond of soul but I liked it.

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Oct 08 2025

Great (listened before)

Smash by The Offspring
Oct 09 2025

too boring, skipping

Pump by Aerosmith
Oct 10 2025

This is the second aerosmith album i'm listening to and it seems to be the thing with this band that i only like one track on the album. I liked hoodoo / voodoo medicine man and the other tracks were meh. 3 stars since there was something to like

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Oct 11 2025

beautiful voice but the album is too boring for me

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Oct 12 2025

judging by the name i expected it to be country and i dislike country music. but it turned out to be melancholic music with inventive songwriting and unusual lyrics. wikipedia says this genre is called alt country / gothic country and it seems i finally found the country i like

Document by R.E.M.
Oct 22 2025

50/50 some songs were unbearable some i liked hidden gem: oddfellows local 151 is the reason to listen to the end

Bone Machine by Tom Waits
Oct 23 2025

my 100th album here it's an improvement comparing to Nighthawks At The Diner that i've listened before so 3 stars, i even liked some tracks (others were unbearable though)

Lost Souls by Doves
Oct 24 2025

might be a bit boring and lacking diversity but it creates a moody and melancholic atmosphere i needed tonight and becomes better with a second listen. firesuite is a beautiful instrumental composition. I liked the burning fire sample and lofi damaged tape vibe (some changing pitch effects) in A House, without it the song would be mediocre. and i think i will play The Man Who Told Everything on repeat.

Duck Rock by Malcolm McLaren
Oct 26 2025

wtf was that

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
Oct 27 2025

i liked some tracks (regular john, you would know, the bronze, spiders, teenage hand model) but others meh. skipped half of them. not really that fun.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Oct 28 2025

As much as I don't like Michael Jackson's music, I enjoyed this album. I've heard it before, I even had a vinyl record I had given to a friend cos I know I won't be listening to it much. So I thought I was going to skip it quickly, just listen a bit and enjoy the sound clarity because production here is phenomenal. But I kept listening and forty minutes after I'm going to give it 4 stars even though his music is not my vibe. Liked tracks: Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It, others are skippable but these three are so good they deserve a higher rating than the other MJ albums I've listened to.

Post Orgasmic Chill by Skunk Anansie
Oct 30 2025

Listened before, a long time ago. Back then I liked it more. it has good songs but overall it bored me today. only three stars.

System Of A Down by System Of A Down
Oct 31 2025

Listened before (like 20 years ago), have always preferred Toxicity but I should not have because this one is really a magnificent record and deserves more listening

Kenza by Khaled
Nov 03 2025

well the recording quality is good, singing and instrumentals are masterful. but it's so not my vibe that i can't listen through this withous skips.

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Nov 04 2025

another Kate Bush album I didn't listen before (apart from the first track). and the whole record deserves 5 stars. it is inspiring, progressive and conceptual

Sex Packets by Digital Underground
Nov 05 2025

it's fun how early rap sounds so slow like they're actually under water. still dont have patience to listen something like this without skipping. but i can see it working as a background music

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Nov 06 2025

definitely listened before but don't remember much. it's ok but nothing more

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Nov 07 2025

(Listened before) Today, the 1001albumsgenerator suggested I enjoy some watercolor in shades of gray and the perfect soundtrack for november. This is their second album, which was marked by a change in the lineup and the establishment of Robert Smith's dictatorship. Musically, it's a collection of melancholic tracks with minimalistic arrangements, full of gloom, despair and reverb so that your hand instinctively reaches for the black eyeliner. The songs for the album were mostly written by Robert Smith at his parents' house on a Hammond organ with a built-in cassette recorder. Pretty cool to have a device like that at home. The material was played live many times before recording so they recorded it in a couple of studio sessions, and it took seven days including mixing. The budget was very limited and it shows. it's especially noticeable in The Final Sound which cuts off at 53 seconds because the tape ran out. i can actually hear tape flaws in some places, ie at 2:22 in M one channel drops out for a moment. The album is another living proof that sound quality isn't that important if the music is great. I'm listening to the 2005 reissue on Spotify. The remaster was done from a vinyl record because the original recordings (master tapes) were stored next to a washing machine and got demagnetized over time. It's like they were stored at my grandma's place (no, my grandma would have thrown them out at all like she did with the photo negatives). Everything that managed to avoid the washing machine was included in the second part of the reissue: instrumental demos, live recordings from 1980, as well as recordings by Cult Hero, a supergroup that included The Cure, their relatives and friends, and the relatives and friends of those relatives and friends.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Nov 08 2025

goddamn it's big, 19 tracks i listened to 7 of them and i feel i'm ready to die without listening to the others but i listened without skips and it means i liked it more than other rap albums. the lyrics still suck the big one but i like the sound here and i'll even give it three stars to distinguish it from the others.

Nov 09 2025

I like how experimental obscure music finds its way into this list. It was an interesting listen but i would prefer something more ... idk, coherent and shaped than this. still, it was fun to listen

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Nov 11 2025

these four stars are more like three and a half. i liked some of the songs so three stars is not enough, but the whole double album was too repetitive. not the best bad seeds album.

Nov 12 2025

At first i thought i've already listened to this album here. It seems I did it on some other list not a long time ago. I didn't like it and not going to go through this again. It's not bad it's just whatever

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
Nov 13 2025

To be honest, the album is fairly mediocre but listenable. i would normally rate it 3 stars but i'm giving it 4 solely because of First We Take Manhattan. it is such a great song that the album deserves a listen just to discover this track and put it on repeat. furthermore, there are countless covers of this song by musicians from a wide spectrum of genres. i was especially surprised to discover a cover by Sirenia from 2004 as I was a big fan of theirs in the early 2000s. Aside from that, jazz police is also quite enjoyable.

Be by Common
Nov 14 2025

wow it's a hip hop record that is not unlistenable, finally

Guero by Beck
Nov 15 2025

one of the most boring and uninspired albums i've heard

Abbey Road by Beatles
Nov 16 2025

(listened before)

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Nov 17 2025

a very unlevel record. several tracks are asking for a skip, some are ok and then there is Southern Man which is only the reason for giving this 4 stars and not 3

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Nov 18 2025

Not a fan at all but didn't want to skip and found it pretty pleasant to listen, the voice is beautiful and the mix is good.

G. Love And Special Sauce by G. Love & Special Sauce
Nov 20 2025

what's this, more 90s MTV bubble gum music boring skip skip skip

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Nov 23 2025

(listened before) a good album

Black Metal by Venom
Nov 24 2025

ha-ha-hail satanas that's fun

Fred Neil by Fred Neil
Nov 26 2025

Boring and grating

Shaka Zulu by Ladysmith Black Mambazo
Nov 28 2025

the description was promising but i didn't find anything interesting for me here

British Steel by Judas Priest
Nov 29 2025

better than i thought, a decent album

Merriweather Post Pavilion by Animal Collective
Nov 30 2025

I need fractional numbers for ratings. I didn't like this album enough to give it a 4 but it's too entertaining to give it a 3.

Metallica by Metallica
Dec 01 2025

great album

Moon Safari by Air
Dec 02 2025

a good record, pleasing for the ears

Club Classics Vol. One by Soul II Soul
Dec 04 2025

the reviews here are worse than it actually is. certainly it is not interesting but it's not that horrible, it sounds nice, vocals are enjoyable and works well as a background music. 3 out of 5

Live! by Fela Kuti
Dec 05 2025

this is an energetic live record full of rhythms and it deserves attention. not my vibe though. never heard of Fela and am impressed by his biography.

Transformer by Lou Reed
Dec 06 2025

(listened before, like it)

Pink Flag by Wire
Dec 07 2025

Very good Reuters is like my everyday doomscrolling

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Dec 08 2025

Loved Avalanche and Dress Rehearsal Rag. Hated pretty much everything else.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Dec 09 2025

it's nice to listen, with some interesting moves, record quality is pleasing

Ray Of Light by Madonna
Dec 24 2025

I never particularly liked Madonna, her vocal delivery between talking and whispering with strange vibrato always annoyed me, this and her attempts to stay trendy (in later works). But Frozen is such a great song, and it's on this album. The album is quite solid, pleasant electronic pop, and her voice sounds decent. My only question is about the track Shanti / Ashtangi. why does it even exist (but who knows, someone might like it). I also read a bit of her biography and was impressed. And it turns out she is the author, or at least a co-author, of almost all her songs. All in all, she's awesome.

Bossanova by Pixies
Dec 27 2025

Pretty boring, nothing special. I guess I just don't get Pixies

Foxbase Alpha by Saint Etienne
Dec 28 2025

One of the most boring albums in my life. Not terrible, just whatever

Duck Stab/Buster & Glen by The Residents
Dec 29 2025

Wow, discovering such stuff is the reason why I subscribed to this site. This is one of the worst albums in the best possible sense. Experimental, yet minimalist, it sounds weird but is incredibly captivating if you don't give in to the urge to turn it off immediately. The lyrics are ominous, surreal, and mysterious poems that resemble incantations and fit perfectly with these dissonant, witchy soundscapes. I read that no album by The Residents sounds like any other of their albums. So far, I've only listened to this one, and it reminds me of The Legendary Pink Dots in so many ways.

Parklife by Blur
Jan 04 2026

Didn't know Blur had so many albums. They always fell into the category of one hit bands in my universe. So today I learned something new. This album is fine, it even has good songs (sparsely distributed among the overall boringness). Liked tracks: London loves, clover over dover, girls and boys

I See A Darkness by Bonnie "Prince" Billy
Jan 05 2026

Not terrible, just 11 drab songs, nothing special

The Predator by Ice Cube
Jan 07 2026

Getting tired of "fuck bitch motherfucker nigga this nigga that" rap it's mostly all the same

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Jan 08 2026

Hard to rate. I don't think it aged well and can only tolerate as background music.

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jan 09 2026

Not much is happening here. Sounds beautiful though

Happy Sad by Tim Buckley
Jan 12 2026

It was fine at first but got too boring and slow, I can't

Jan 13 2026

Totally not my genre but a couple of tracks made me slow down and listen. To my ear, the tracks on this album vary from unbearable to pleasant.

Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Jan 14 2026

listened before, it's good

Risque by CHIC
Jan 15 2026

chill background music. can't imagine dancing to it. boring

Under Construction by Missy Elliott
Jan 16 2026

i remember hearing something from her on mtv not being so bad but this was literally unlistenable for me, skipped most of it. and what's up with all this aggressive bragging in rap lyrics, who even cares?

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Jan 21 2026

I don't enjoy such music because leading sax sounds grating on my ears. I just don't like its sound. It's a nice improvisation though and I liked the piano piece

i actually enjoyed it, it was fun

Chore of Enchantment by Giant Sand
Jan 23 2026

The album consists of songs most of which are standard boring singer songwriter stuff and some are more on the alt side with distorted guitars and noise. I liked the "alt" ones but the "normal" ones bored me to death

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths

Now I see why everybody hates Morrissey

Rising Above Bedlam by Jah Wobble's Invaders Of The Heart
Jan 25 2026

Never heard of it and really enjoyed it.

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Jan 27 2026

one of the most boring albums in my life

Kenya by Machito
Jan 29 2026

It has some highlights but generally it's hard for me to connect with this music

Dirty by Sonic Youth
Jan 30 2026

at first i disliked it and was going to give it 3/5 out of respect for sonic youth but my player was on repeat and i listened to it the second time and really enjoyed it. so if you generally like sonic youth but can't connect with this album, you might want to try to listen to it again and give it a chance to grow on you.

Moondance by Van Morrison
Jan 31 2026

Only liked one song (Moondance). The rest is boring

Feb 01 2026

Too many hip hop albums here and most of them are flat and unamusing. Like this one. Skipped through tracks and happy it's over

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Feb 02 2026

Too boring, too long, goes nowhere

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Feb 03 2026

it's hard to rate this without considering its cultural influence and context. Probably doesn't need to be re-evaluated. I get a weird feeling when I read reviews where users try to judge it in a vacuum or through a modern lens. This doesn't make sense, it's a product of its time and wouldn't be the same if created today. I give it a 4/5 because 3 feels too low (it's certainly not boring enough for a 3), and 5 is reserved for the absolute best albums in my life, which this isn't.

Feb 04 2026

Most country records I tried to listen, I couldn't. This one is ok as a background. Sure all the songs are the same but I've been through worse. 3/5

The Nightfly by Donald Fagen
Feb 06 2026

this one evoked no emotions, none at all. works as backgroud music and doesn't even try to catch attention.

Suicide by Suicide
Feb 08 2026

It's like listening to a whole album of intros not going anywhere.

fine but nothing special

Bongo Rock by Incredible Bongo Band
Feb 11 2026

background music, again...

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Feb 12 2026

I tried to like it, I can understand the aesthetics of noise and the production choises but... The songs themselves suck, they're plain and repetitive, with almost nothing happening beneath the wall of noise. Sometimes they start to sound promising but never develop or go anywhere. 2/5

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Feb 13 2026

Listened before and it's very good

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Feb 14 2026

it's okay. fav track: I Heard It Through The Grapevine

Very by Pet Shop Boys
Feb 15 2026

Non-essential listening. Personally I liked the arrangements but disliked the vocals. Songs are average. Btw lol is that the USSR hymn?

Feb 18 2026

These guys were too glamourous for me to choose their album by myself. It's cool though, sounding like eighties in the best sense, with rich arrangements, clean sound and smart lyrics. Tears are not enough <3

Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Feb 19 2026

this is better than other album i've heard from him

Electric by The Cult
Feb 20 2026

it was pretty fun. liked the song about the nuclear war

Bitte Orca by Dirty Projectors
Mar 01 2026

Weird and discordant, painful but there is beauty to it. Sometimes reminded me of Björk. Might be worth a second listen. Not sure if I like the mixing and mastering, sounds like everything is compressed and doesn't have much space to breathe

Being not in the best place mentally right now it's hard to make myself listen to genres that are different from the ones that usually give me comfort. But I’m trying not to stay stuck inside my comfort zone when it comes to musicand I also don’t want to build up a huge backlog on this site, so… I don't like funk funk funky funk and I'm not in the mood to listen to this without skipping tracks but i recognize that this is good and might be interesting enough for me to give it a listen sometime. Sounds good enough for a 4

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Mar 03 2026

Apparently not my favourite album from them. It's just boring me to sleep.

Honky Tonk Heroes by Waylon Jennings
Mar 04 2026

sorry i just can't no country please

Trio by Dolly Parton
Mar 05 2026

oh no i don't think i'm ready for country music yet. skipping tracks so that this site does not become a chore. but it's really not that bad, the voices are nice, and the production is cute, i might even be able to enjoy it sometime.

The New Tango by Astor Piazzolla
Mar 27 2026

Sounded promising at first but didn't grab me for the whole album listening. Pretty nice though, maybe some other time

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Mar 28 2026

it's ok but nothing memorable in particular except she's so loose, i liked that song

Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
Mar 29 2026

I see the concept but I'm not going to pretend that I like it

...The Dandy Warhols Come Down by The Dandy Warhols
Mar 30 2026

First track was the same chords repeating over and over again and then the next sounded exactly the same. The sound is nice and rich but I don't dig such songwriting. P.S. I eventually liked one song (Good Morning) so I'm changing from 2 to 3

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Mar 31 2026

it's ok but nothing particularly outstanding for me

Os Mutantes by Os Mutantes
Apr 02 2026

Played almost without skipping as an act of self harm cos there is literally nothing appealing to me on this record. Not sonically, not melodically. Layers and layers of peevishly mixed irritating sounds arranged in the most annoying tone sequences. This is even worse than country music. This is the album that will play on repeat when I die and go to hell.
