Devotional Songs
Nusrat Fateh Ali KhanNot my cup of tea. Songs sound very same-y
Not my cup of tea. Songs sound very same-y
Singer's voice sounds like Placebo. Lots of acoustic guitar, not a fan. Powderfinger kinda slaps. Second half of the album is actually rock songs, so much better than the first.
Lyrics are deep and depressive af. Good messages but the music is so fucking depressing I never want to listen to the album ever again.
So that's where thatr Respect song comes from. Otherwise pretty unremarkable. Not my type of music.
It sure is county music.
Not feeling it Mr Krabs.
Figured they would have more bangers considering how popular 7 nation army is...
Guess it's a reggae album...
Only listened to half of it. Don't see it becoming much more interesting.
Some songs were okay I guess...
"Maid" is one of the unintentionally funniest songs I've ever heard. The lyrics are about this old fuck wanting a maid to do his chores becuae he can't be arsed to do them himself or whatever but the music itself is this weirdly epic orchestral performance??? Wtf man. The rest is unremarkable country slop.
Finally, some good fucking food.
No
Why do so many "classic rock" bands have so many goddamn country songs...
No more the who please...
Fiddly diddly music. Cool if you are a hobbit in a tavern. But nothing I'd listen to on a daily.
Absolute banger. Marvel VS Capcom 2 ass music (affectionately)
Some bops on here. Really love the song 'kids'.
Damn that's actually some classic af rock.
Jesus. Christ. No.
Very easy listening. Though also nothing I'd really listen to again...
I always knew the name of this band, but never heard any of their songs. So I was surprised to find out they make ACDC style dad rock? Kind of unexpected tbh, thought they'd make electronic music or something. Well the album itself was pretty alright.
Funky beats. Some Nu-metal esque songs. Lyrics that aged like fine milk. Good stuff
Saved Enter sandman and Through the never. The rest of the album sounds very same-y sadly. But at least it's a good kind of same-y so the album is actually fun to listen through!
I don't know if I want to listen to famous nazi Kanye West's music. But if I must... Honestly, the album was pretty good. While I don't understand why rappers always have to focus on how much sex and money they have, the music itself was pretty solid. Lots of variety in the genres etc. I still have to dock a lot of points just for the guy being actually an anti-semite with a good complex...
The concept part of the ablum is really interesting and the chorus of the song sex packets is super catchy. I just didn't really vibe with the rest of the ablum.
This really felt like a good album that overstayed it's welcome. I like the 80s pop sound. It just gets old after a while.
I'm not sure what to say about this album. It's very slow and sad sounding, but it doesn't really feel like a drag. It's good but I probably won't listen to it again.
The biggest lesson I'm learning from this project is that I seem to really dislike the sound of acoustic guitars.
One of the bands I had never even heard about before. And I am kind of glad about it. This attempt at goofy/funky music really landed flat on its face. None of the songs stand out and they sound really repetitive.
Snooze
Damn this album hit me hard out of nowhere. The combination of traditional Indian and Japanese instruments with 90s drum and bass is so unique and cool. If an album deserved the title "this is an album you should listen to before you die" this would be my top pick so far. Absolutely incredible. The song OK is such a banger.
I realize how important this album is to the history of hip-hop and rap... Still doesn't make me want to listen to it though. The concept of them being like a Chinese martial arts monk order is pretty cute at first, it all still just boils down to the usual rap-isms of flexing how much cooler and stronger you are than your "opponents". Eh.
For a band called dire straits I did not expect half the songs to be swingy-rock-jazz. Neat.
"We have the Beatles at home."
This sounds like Jenova's boss themes from Final Fantasy 7 on crack. Absolutely fantastic listen. Too bad it's only a live album though.
Guy in his basement clanking pots and pans together and calls it music. lmao
Fun album to listen to. Very good vibes.
Doesn't have the stand-out songs that the black album does. Sadly this leads to the same-y-ness to shine through even more. But still good fucking metal at it's core.
Hey it's that one song from SpongeBob! ...God I'm so cooked.
With an album cover like this I really did not expect an entire album of dance bangers. Holy shit.
Bitte nicht Orca. Why do I have an earworm of the song Remade Horizon...
Oh god please not the 2 worst things imaginable: Live and Unplugged. Urgh The man who sold the World is always great though.
Yo it's Seven Nation Army!....aaand a whole bunch of other unremarkable songs.
Did not finish the second Disc...The singer has a really grating singing voice and the instrumentation is very bland.
More live music hurray... The blues is alright I guess. Just not something I'd listen to while I'm not in a dimly lit smoke filled bar with a glass of whiskey or whatever.
Forgettable jazz
Dreadful.
Insanely boring
Holy shit it's Michael! Considering how famous the guy was I am surprised I never sat down and listened to any of his albums in full. This one was such a joy though. Disco vibes best vibes.
This is the type of shit people mean when they say they listen to everything but country music.
