Fantastic album, such a unique sound.
A very good album. I hear something new and interesting each time I listen to it.
A great Jazz album! Loved listening! I don’t listen to jazz often but this one kept my attention from start to finish.
One of the best Christmas albums of all time!
One of the dining albums as a teenager. Michael and Quincy made an amazing team.
Love Springsteen, this is a great stripped down album that as a songwriter love every song. I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t my favorite album of his.
I have never listened to this entire album before. Shame on me! What a great voice love most every song. I will add this to my vinyl wishlist.
Not my main style of music I like but I did enjoy the vibe of the album.
I found this instrumental album to be hard to listen to with the horns playing the same thing over and over
Never listened to this album front to back before. Some real hidden gems.
Not my favorite Siouxsie album, but still brought back memories of m younger years when music was original.
I haven’t listen to a lot of Hole but I did enjoy most of the songs on this album. The musicianship was terrific.
Album was good but not 1001 to listen to before you die.
Well, not into EDM music so much but I have to say I enjoyed this listen. The grooves had me bouncing around the house. My favorite song was probably the most popular song on the album, red alert.
Have this to my album quest list. Bernie is such a great writer and Elton’s music and voice are one of a kind. I enjoyed every song. The ones I could sing every word as well as the deep tracks.
Nice album. Have never listened to anything beyond the hits but really enjoyed the grove.
I have never listened to a whole Nick Drake album. I kinda liked the laid back vibe. The lyrics were great and as an aspiring producer how this record was made is rarely done anymore. Sounds cool.
There is not a bad song on this album. If you have a album collection this needs to be in it!
A pleasant surprise. Made me want to scat with King Louie.
Not my usual style of music but I didn’t hate it. The grooves and lyrics kept drawing me in.
Yep, evanescence, the early years. I really liked this album. Secrets is a must listen song
I think Beck’s goal was to cover every genre on this album and did a great job. Not in my collection yet but will be.
More fuzz than I have on my face now. I can definitely hear the grunge connection.
A very chill album. I enjoyed listening with my morning coffee.
Have never listened to this album in its entirety until this prompt. Fantastic! On my list of albums I must possess before I die.
Probably one of the best instrumental albums I have ever listened to. I really enjoyed the vamping. The hoots during the song were a bonus.
Loved the music vocals not so much
I love this album, so many great memories growing up listening to it. While I like the first side songs a little better, I never skipped not playing that other side. Each time I heard something new that hooked me.
Yeah, I felt ever song sounded the same. I won’t be adding this to my album collection
I like the movie soundtrack better.
I love this album so much it is already in my collection. The harmonies and songwriting is A++ if only they could have gotten along a little better.
I didn’t hate this album. I just felt that most of the songs had same tempo and this felt like the same song.
As a kid of the 80’s, I loved the vibe of this album. I could listen to this one at least once a week and be cool with it.
Nice album. One of the best voices in music ever! I found myself actively listening to the words. A lot of angst there. For him to come up with the lyrics while in the studio recording is very impressive.
I haven’t listened to this album in over 30 years! What was I thinking? It is on my list of must have albums.
Not my usual music cup of tea but appreciate the artistic talent. I like that I get to listen to music I normally don’t while doing this project.
Love this album, love her voice. A glass of wine, a pleasant summers evening and this album is all I need.
First album I didn’t make it all the way through. Not that it was bad but that I didn’t have 3 hours of time to sit and listen. This is either for my next rave party or a long drive in slow traffic.
Mix between Green Day and the smashing Pumpkins. I didn’t hate but but probably won’t be on my list of must have albums.
I liked this album as I appreciate the greatness of Bowie, but I don’t think this is his best album.
What a great voice. Enjoyed this album a lot.
Only critique is that if a song is going to be in the 1001 songs i need to hear before I die that it is available on Apple or Spotify. Geesh! Once I found it on YT it was a great funk sound.
What an intense album! Not a big rap guy but these lyrics painted a picture of the time in a vivid way.
I knew who Ry Cooder was but never put it together that he was in this band! Love the late 60’s vibe they put out!
I didn’t hate it but electronic music is not my favorite genre.
Devo, a band that wasn’t afraid of being themselves. Enjoyed the trip back to the late 70’s. Techno before techno.
I really enjoyed this album! Moon safari is the perfect title. I have never heard of it until this project. Probably the best electronic music I have heard in awhile.
Morrissey has a special voice and unique phrasing. I have always enjoyed his music and this album brought back so many great memories
Not a bad album, but not a fan of compilation albums. I love finding those hidden B-side gems. On an album, CD any do that on a compilation. They all are the best of the band. That being said the Hives are a good band. My advice is to pickup either of their 2 earlier albums that made up this one.
Reallly enjoyed the lesser known songs on this album. Talk about lyrical genius!
I liked most of the songs on this album. There were a few clunkers that brought my score down.
Hard to find the album to listen but when I did, I heard Dylan and Guthrie. I can certainly hear how they all affected each other. I like folk music so enjoyed the stripped down music and thoughtful lyrics.
