Popular Reviews

Boston by Boston

This album was indeed more than a feeling.

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones

I have probably heard this album many times over throughout the years by being dragged to candle, craft, and other white women stores by my mother.

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream

This album took some getting used to, but it ended up sounding tolerable. This is the type of music I would expect to hear in a sketchy early 2000s head shop.

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Dec 24 2025

I could have made a better album using samples from drunk karaoke singers and recording need for speed background music.

Dec 25 2025

I don't like Christmas music and did not care for this album, but will acknowledge that it was well produced. That being said, this is an album I would want to OD on.

Boston by Boston
Dec 26 2025

This album was indeed more than a feeling.

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Dec 29 2025

Superb album! This reminds me of my life in New York during the 80s, where I would walk briskly through the night returning video tapes and going to gothic night clubs.

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Dec 30 2025

This album sounded like a mix of Randy Newman and The Rolling Stones, was not a fan.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Dec 31 2025

I would describe this as Lukewarm hip hop, but it was still enjoyable.

Truth And Soul by Fishbone
Jan 01 2026

Definitely music that would be in a 80s or 90s rom com or cheesy comedy.

Jan 05 2026

Enjoyable for the length, would probably have gave it 3 stars if it were a longer album.

Red Dirt Girl by Emmylou Harris
Jan 06 2026

I don't care for this type of music, but I can appreciate the production quality and talent.

Diamond Life by Sade
Jan 13 2026

Ah I remember this album fondly back in the day, I would use this as my love making music. It was so enjoyable I would play this back to back each time as I gave my lady 44 minutes of undivided attention, then preceded to make love for the second 44 minutes under the ceiling mirror and on the silk sheets covering my heart shaped bed.

Goo by Sonic Youth
Jan 14 2026

The vocals were ass, but I did enjoy the instrumentals. This gave vibes from a early 2000's skating or street racing video game.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Jan 16 2026

This album broke the levee in my heart and let the water that are my emotions flood my body and soul.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jan 20 2026

This album is what I imagine plays in a white woman's head as they shop for artisanal good at a farmer's market.

Marquee Moon by Television
Jan 22 2026

Boring AF, sounded like a less talented wannabe version of The Rolling Stones.

A Little Deeper by Ms. Dynamite
Jan 23 2026

This album definitely made me feeeeel somethiiiiin.

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jan 26 2026

This blues made me happy.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jan 27 2026

There are parts of every song that sound like when you don't hit snooze on your alarm and it just keeps playing over and over and over and over and over again. Decent album for background music during a galaxy gas sesh.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Jan 28 2026

Would have given this 3 stars but fuck this album for being over 2 hours long, no one needs that much Smashing Pumpkins.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Jan 30 2026

I like it muddy, not repetitive.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Feb 02 2026

This album made me want to be just like Kurt and get the Remington haircut.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Feb 03 2026

Feb 04 2026

The album used in every late 90s to early 2000s action movie.

No Other by Gene Clark
Feb 06 2026

Very chill, reminds me of the music the boys and I would smoke reefer to while we discussed how groovy the Vietnam War is.

Is This It by The Strokes

The last upbeat album of 2001.

Very by Pet Shop Boys

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Feb 16 2026

I wish I wasn't here to listen to this album.

Locust Abortion Technician by Butthole Surfers
Feb 18 2026

Probably the fathers of ICP, this band is made up of a bunch of clowns.

Feb 20 2026

This album is pretty fly for some white guys. Was going to give it a 3 but it was way too long for my taste.

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Feb 23 2026

We're Not Supposed To is now in my top ten list of the most annoying fuckin songs I have heard.

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Feb 24 2026

One of the better albums from them.

Synchronicity by The Police
Feb 25 2026

The police should arrest The Police for making this album.

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Feb 26 2026

Just an album full of rambling and talking with instrumentals.

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
Feb 27 2026

I don't know why, but I really enjoyed this album. Would have given it a 4 if it weren't for the last few songs.

My favorite album to shoot up to during the 90's 💉🥄

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Apr 09 2026

Ah yes, this music reminds me of the good old days when I would write communist literature whilst sipping on White Russians at my favorite Bellingham jazz club.

Lost Souls by Doves

Sounds like the soundtrack for every quirky indie movie during the early 2000's.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
May 15 2026

So velvety bouncing off my ear drums.

Parklife by Blur
May 18 2026

Another dog shit album. It sounds like a 90s version of the generic British Punk that overly saturates this list.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
May 19 2026

I don't really care for this band, but the album does have the few iconic songs.

Blood And Chocolate by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
May 20 2026

Not the best Costello album, but still enjoyable.

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
May 21 2026

Yeah I think we only needed one Neil Young & Crazy Horse album here, if that. This one ain't it.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
May 25 2026

Keith Jarrett on the haunting keys got me feeling a type of way.

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
May 27 2026

Loved listing to this type of music when I went on my winter walks to the pretzel stand in Central Park.

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses

Not bad, but also not that enjoyable.

Screamadelica by Primal Scream
May 29 2026

This album was... different.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Jun 05 2026

Short. Sweet. S&G.

This album surprised me and I ended up liking it more than I thought I would.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jun 09 2026

oH mY GoD iT's tHe WhItE sTrIpEs!!!!!

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Jun 10 2026

Nothing hits harder after a long day at the office than blasting this hard pipe hittin music in my Kia Soul on the way back to my nice suburban home.

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
Jun 11 2026

I don't really care for folk music, but this album was very pleasant.

Country Life by Roxy Music
Jun 12 2026

I don't really know how to describe this music. It has a few different styles that mix and blend together that gives it a unique touch. It wasn't bad, it was definitely an interesting listen though.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Jun 15 2026

This was my first time listening to The Smiths, and I have to say that I enjoyed listening to them more than I thought I would.

Lam Toro by Baaba Maal
Jun 17 2026

I wish I could understand what he is saying, because this is such beautiful music.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Jun 19 2026

I recognize the production quality, this is just not my type of music.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jun 22 2026

This album has the one famous song, but that is not a good reason to include this on the list. The singing is quite bad and sounds like some geek off the street singing at a karaoke bar. The music is also quite bland and made my mouth dry. In the wise words of Randy Jackson, "that's a no from me dawg."

Dummy by Portishead
Jun 23 2026

This shit slapped! It had a unique mix of genres, pleasant vocals, and a nice flow.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Jun 24 2026

Excuse my language, but I frickin love this album! It really resonates with the feelings I have about the slight inconveniences I face in my white-collar life ✊🏻. #corporatewageslavesunite

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Jun 25 2026

Love me some Stevie Wonder. This album had a nice mix of funk and soul, which paired well with Mr. Wonder's delicious vocals. The album cover is also pretty dope.

Jun 26 2026

This album had a good start with the funkyness, then it became less and less enjoyable as the album went on.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jun 29 2026

John Fogerty has been the best thing for Louisiana's reputation since 1803.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Jun 30 2026

Pretty decent album, still waiting for the good Beatles album's. The one thing I like about the Beatles is that their album's are short, sweet, and mostly catchy.

Jul 02 2026

I just know they hired a child to draw that album cover. The band would have certainly made a worse cover, based on how talentless they are at making music.

16 Lovers Lane by The Go-Betweens
Jul 03 2026

Just sounds like a shitty version of The Smiths.

The Score by Fugees
Jul 06 2026

What a great hip-hop album to add! Ms. Lauryn Hill's vocals combined with the unique beats, definitely makes this album a genial treat.

Jul 07 2026

I don't really care for live music albums. It's like yay, give me worse sounding audio than the original. Plateau and Lake Of Fire being sung live was pretty amazing though.

Logical Progression by LTJ Bukem
Jul 08 2026

I actually like this kind of music and it was quite enjoyable as background music. It's like a 90s version of chill techno to vibe and study to. I only marked it down because it was pretty long and had repetitive beats on each track.

Highly Evolved by The Vines
Jul 09 2026

Yay, another generic 2000s "punk" band.

Halcyon Digest by Deerhunter
Jul 10 2026

Not quite my genre, good production quality though.

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Jul 13 2026

This album has that one very well known song. However, I don't think that said song justifies having this album on the list, as it is pretty long and mediocre.

Jul 14 2026

This was my first time really listening to Elton John, and I have to say, that this is an excellent album.

The United States Of America by The United States Of America
Jul 15 2026

This album was weird my guy's and gal's. It was surprisingly enjoyable though.

Let's Get Killed by David Holmes
Jul 17 2026

Pretty rad story on the Let's Get Killed track. It's an interesting album, but that doesn't mean it's good.

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Jul 20 2026

Surprisingly this is one of the best live albums I have heard. The vocal and instrumental quality is excellent, not to mention the rapturous tracks that make up the album.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Jul 21 2026

I have heard the popular Elvis songs, but this is my first time listening to one of his albums. To me, the music is fine, but I don't think I would want to listen to other Elvis albums on my own time.

Dust by Screaming Trees
Jul 23 2026

A stereotypical 90s rock album, nothing special or unique about this.

Arise by Sepultura
Jul 24 2026

I gave their Roots album a five, but I like this album even more. 🤘

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jul 27 2026

I didn't care for the vocals, but the instrumentals were tolerable.

Jul 28 2026

One of the best hip-hop albums of all time. The sick beats mixed with the aggressive vocals and creative lyrics does indeed bring da ruckus.

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Jul 29 2026

This album took some getting used to, but it ended up sounding tolerable. This is the type of music I would expect to hear in a sketchy early 2000s head shop.

Entertainment by Gang Of Four
Jul 30 2026

When I first started the album I thought, oh boy another one of the 100's of British punk albums on this list. But the more I listened to it, the more I liked it. Then that feeling died away as I got half way through and had enough of the mediocre British Punk that fills this god forsaken list.

The Clash by The Clash
Jul 31 2026

Thane gaw di albummm wa onlee tirty fi min-us!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Aug 03 2026

Short and tolerable. I wish all the other mediocre albums on this god forsaken list were like this.

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Aug 04 2026

This is the type of country I like. The heartfelt lyrics and chill instrumentals touched me in an unexpected way. A superb album which is now one of my favorites.

Aug 05 2026

Can't go wrong with some funky electronic background beats. This is the type of music that I imagine the villain from Grandma's Boy listened to.

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Aug 06 2026

Another delightful African album. I think the creator of this album playlist is full of himself. He probably doesn't know what is being said, but wants to come off as being cultured. And from the selection of albums on this list, he clearly is not.

The Poet by Bobby Womack
Aug 07 2026

My God, what a jaw dropping album. This album has some of the best love making tracks I've ever heard. I can't wait to play this album while engrossed in eating my lady's sumptuous box for 39 minutes. Bobby Womack is truly, The Poet.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Aug 10 2026

What leontia said.

Dookie by Green Day
Aug 11 2026

This album is indeed, dookie.

OK by Talvin Singh
Aug 12 2026

I mean, it's an alright album for background music; it's a bit repetitive though. But yeah, an hour of mediocre Indian techno music just doesn't do it for me.

Horses by Patti Smith
Aug 13 2026

Yeah this ain't for me. This album is just a woman incoherently rambling out of tune to lackluster instrumentals. If I wanted to listen to a woman incoherently ramble, I would just pay attention to my fat bitch wife when she talks at me; am I right fellow Boomers.
