This is definitely a Jazz album

This is something I would like to like but it’s pretty awful.

This is a hard one to rate. There are such great heights and such great lows on this album, the three first songs for example are almost perfect in a way but on the other hand the second song is also pretty bad. There are two enormous hits on this album, but some duds. It’s an emotional rollercoaster, it’s not a bad album, but to think of what it could have been… but I guess that’s just Morrisey, after all.

This has to be one of the most boring Britpop Albums ever.

I don’t like his voice and his singing style.

It’s not bad, but eventually it’s too annoying.

It’s not his best work but it’s a solid three stars plus one extra star for „O Children“.

There are fillers and nobody needs a 13 minutes jam at the end but this album is a banger.

It's not as bad as expected, but I will probably never listen to this again.

Another Album that I would like to like because I like the later works of Nick Cave a lot. But it just does not work for me, starting with that awful cover image. The music has relevance, I guess, but it's going nowhere.

Two points for the nostalgia. It was and always will be pretty unbearable, with a few exceptions.

From the cover over the band name to the music, this is not good.

PJ Harvey is another case of "Want to like it more than I do" for me. I like her but the music ultimately is a bit boring to me. It's not bad, but it's also nothing that I would select conciously, I guess.

It’s cool, but it does not feel like an album.

I guess this is great if you like that kind of music.

I know it’s cool and influential as hell but it sounds so outdated.

I like the guy but album-wise it’s hit or miss. Or maybe I am more into songs of his than his albums.

Another day, another Dad Rock album

It’s good in a way that I can put this on when I don’t know what else to play. Like The War on Drugs or maybe even Placebo.

This is really hard to judge. To me it’s music for people that go to huge rock festivals and still think they have a distinguished musical taste because they go and see Incubus at 4 in the afternoon because they think the writing is so clever and the singer can sing so well. But it’s run off the mill rock for the masses. Ok it was easy to judge.

There are undeniable classics on this album but I am tired of the misogyny and the attitude in general. Maybe one needs to turn of the brain to enjoy this. I cannot thoroughly.

I like the Beastie Boys as much as the next guys and this is a nice album but sometimes it’s also a bit dull and boring. The opening is a banger though with „Shake Your Rump“ jumping in after the weird intro but I don’t know what to do with songs like „The Sounds of Science“ or „Johnny Ryall“.
