Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Mar 17 2026

Solid vibes, but the kind of rock and roll that just washes over me. Can’t really make out lyrics, and when do they’re clearly just there to contribute to the overall sound then to be parsed on their own. The original that became distilled down to every generic filler rock ost for eternity

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Mar 18 2026

Like this one a good bit The Sorta rap is fun and I’m a sucker for simple instrumentals + vocals Kinda fell into some generic rock slop later on but it’s solid

Tommy by The Who
Mar 19 2026

Crazy that this is where Pinball Wizard is from. I’m just an absolute sucker for concept/story albums. I think some of the transitional songs were a bit clunky, and I’d have to sit with it more to really eek out what its trying to say. I think the mental illness savant plot line is incredibly dated, but comes either the territory for an album round this time. Songs themselves were just really great to listen to, overture and underture were a great sign that this album was going to be pretty good.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Mar 20 2026

Just an absolute banger. Its funny, sets an amazing mood and almost every song stands out from eachother- fantastic

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Mar 21 2026

I’m absolutely miserable about talking through jazz, especially something so ephemeral as 40 minutes of pure jamming. Loved the sound, amazing vibes- can’t quite say it fully captured my attention the whole way through but I listened through it twice

Pelican West by Haircut 100
Mar 22 2026

Completely surprised by how this group sounded. Not a crazy emotional connection but I was immediately impressed by modern their sound felt. Its the kind of bouncy pop music I expect out of like a glass beach. Super fun enjoyed a lot

Mar 23 2026

Just real bad. Simple man is alright and free bird is great but the whole album gives off a real pathetic vibe. The folky stuff does not work here and is just largely forgettable

Sea Change by Beck
Mar 24 2026

Certainly an album. Not outright bad but it just washed over me. No particular song stood out and the soundscape didn’t really engage me.

The Modern Dance by Pere Ubu
Mar 25 2026

Pretty fun! The scattered sound and rambling lyrics make this stand out- but the full package is just fine

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
Mar 27 2026

Just one of my favorite albums ever. The vibe this gives from the very beginning is incredible. The way it shuffles samples and voices is so ahead of its time and so so fun. My favorite off the album is Midnight in a Perfect World

21 by Adele
Mar 28 2026

Really hard to rate considering her place in modern pop lol. Makes the album itself less cohesive but the singles are pretty fantastic

British Steel by Judas Priest
Mar 29 2026

A classic. Judas priest has an incredible sound. This album has a few stinkers but when it hits it hits

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Apr 01 2026

Great sound, I love the atmosphere- not sold on the lyricism and how the vocals kinda blend together

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Apr 03 2026

Ccr are legends but I’ve been inoculated to this style of country to put this album among my favorites

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Apr 04 2026

Such a banger. Love the way Alanis sings and the songs all have something to say.

xx by The xx
Apr 07 2026

Just a great time. Blends together a bit towards the end but gives me very melancholy vibes

Protection by Massive Attack
Apr 08 2026

Wasn’t doing it for me. Great atmosphere but it didn’t really spark interest in me at any point

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Apr 09 2026

Funky Demands that you really lock in to get the most out of it. Really difficult to listen to casually but in general I was a big fan

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Apr 13 2026

like I get why this genre became the default elevator music /pos Girl from impena is so good

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 14 2026

I’m a big fan of the singer songwriter genre, just a chance for the artist to tell a story. Blue did not dissapoint, just a poignant story of love and loss, was a great listen

Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby by Girls Against Boys
Apr 15 2026

I’m a fan of this sound but the whole album completely melted into a mush

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten
Apr 16 2026

It took me some extra time to get back to but it really hit on my second attempt. Hit the same parts of my brain a hyperpop song would

Apr 17 2026

Just a sound I have really grown tired of. Some singles are alright but in general I zzzz

Apr 19 2026

So iconic, but feels particularly juvenile looking back. Fred Durst absolutely can’t reclaim

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Apr 21 2026

Okay wow this album rocks. A little bit of a tired in the nose kind of protest song but it just sounds really good. The instrumentals all over School were so groovy and really broke up the rock sounds perfect

Grievous Angel by Gram Parsons
Apr 22 2026

Just fine, could be much worse

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Apr 27 2026

I liked this one a bit more thean the last jazz album we had, will need to relisten to this one a few times

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Apr 28 2026

Genuinely a nice listen, it’s the kind of melodic folk country I actually like quite a bit- before it goes all beer for my horses

Goodbye And Hello by Tim Buckley
Apr 29 2026

A surprise! I loved the way it shifted into a kind of fantasy folk album and Tim’s vocals were a treat

Apr 30 2026

First song set a really good time and energy that didn’t really carry through to the test of the album. Listened through it twice though

May 01 2026

Just lame. Love the instrumentation but subject matter is so weak

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
May 02 2026

Just super solid. Didn’t really grab my attention but a good listen

Since I Left You by The Avalanches
May 04 2026

Man. I am such a sucker for well constructed sample songs. I’m not sure if the whole album is a perfect five, but its just good the whole time with massive peaks with Since I Left You and Frontier Psychiatrist. Love the way this album sets its tone so simply and stays just long enough on each beat

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
May 05 2026

Solid catchy songs and doesn’t overstay its welcome. Like a lite blend of abba and the beatles, just not quite making a mark

Ten by Pearl Jam
May 06 2026

The slightly more modern rock was nice but it quickly developed its own kind of sludge

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
May 07 2026

Fantastic. Really catchy Melodies, and the intercut vocals across the track set a great tone

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
May 08 2026

Incredible album. Every single song is a banger, hits such a particular mood and has an all together unique sound even after all this time. Played this one almost three times in a row today.

Pyromania by Def Leppard
May 11 2026

Like fine

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
May 13 2026

I like this one much more then exile, but the style here is just extremely mild for me

Call of the Valley by Shivkumar Sharma
May 14 2026

Really liked this one, great performances and a sound I don’t have nearly enough experience with

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
May 16 2026

Good sound but did not leave an inpression

Very by Pet Shop Boys
May 18 2026

Unique but I didn’t quite vibe with it

Gasoline Alley by Rod Stewart
May 22 2026

Started alright but was mixxed really weirdly and got rather repetitive

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
May 23 2026

Sucks ass

Rapture by Anita Baker
May 24 2026

Stellar. Nothing outside the ordinary but fantastic regardless

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
May 25 2026

Love Married with children, everything is mid

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
May 26 2026

Pretty okay, the hit is really a hit but kinda drags

69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields
May 29 2026

Genuinely enjoyed listening through. No particular song was a stand out but I tend to really like this writing style of telling a story quickly and cleanly

May 31 2026

Really groovy. I can’t quite give it a five as I think the actually thought and writing is a little lackluster, and the repetitive track doesn’t carry it

Fragile by Yes
Jun 05 2026

Just fantastic. It starts off with incredible energy and pushes that through each and every song. Full of really engaging melodies and countermelodies that shift in and out seamlessly. A joy to listen through

The Libertines by The Libertines
Jun 07 2026

It took me a moment but I ended up enjoying it

Scott 4 by Scott Walker
Jun 08 2026

The kind of songs you’d hear in a tarintino movie, pretty solid

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Jun 09 2026

Just a really fantastic album. I'm an absolute sucker for this style of acoustic album. Will be listening again

Aja by Steely Dan
Jun 10 2026

What a crazy atmosphere. Loved the instrumentals

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Jun 11 2026

Reminded me that Stevie Wonder is one of the greatest musicians to ever do it

New York Dolls by New York Dolls
Jun 12 2026

Rod stewart but 10% gayer. A marked improvement but not incredible

Jun 14 2026

Pretty solid! The title track really stood out as something with a lot of energy, and the other songs didn’t quite keep it up

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Jun 16 2026

One of the few albums in this list that feels like it has a story to tell from beginning to end. Kendrick’s verses and writing hit a very human chord that bounces between base and vulgar, and incredibly thoughtful on a word to word basis. The tracks and instrumentals really elevate everything and really pulls the whole album together. In the end it’s not something I will listen to often but you can’t help but to listen to it front to back each time.

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Jun 17 2026

Just so good, Loved the cuts to a monologue between each song, it flowed really well. The reclamation of sexuality as a thesis was a great way to focus the album and I loved the balance of humor throughout. Also just fantastic to listen to outright

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jun 18 2026

I get it but I don’t really get it

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jun 19 2026

Like, clearly it’s really really good, and I like the depth of sound and the way the just go ham mixing orchestral into the balled brit pop vibe. But there was something nagging at be for the first couple of songs- and it’s mostly that the album is largely overshadowed by blue sky- and I’m not a fan of how the lyrics and story telling of the other songs landed

Eternally Yours by The Saints
Jun 21 2026

Its a very fun punky vibe but the album itself isn’t doing anything for me

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jun 27 2026

That was awesome. Has some classics that I’ve heard in plenty of places, and others that are right in line with Bowie songs I love. The little bits of manic piano mashing added a lot of character to what would otherwise be pretty sterile love songs

Roger the Engineer by The Yardbirds
Jun 29 2026

Woah! Solid blues rock with a couple of psychidelic singles thrown in

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Jul 02 2026

Really fun, honestly thought it came out in the 90s early oughts with the kind of sound they had. Really good time, will relisten

Midnight Ride by Paul Revere & The Raiders
Jul 08 2026

The most 3 star album I’ve ever heard

Low by David Bowie
Jul 09 2026

Great atmosphere

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Jul 10 2026

Not too exciting but a lovely lksten

Risque by CHIC
Jul 15 2026

Beyond the hit everything was pretty flat rnb, just fine

Jul 17 2026

Pretty good, liked the stories it was telling and the beats were really nice

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
Jul 19 2026

Meh

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre
Jul 20 2026
A Wizard, A True Star by Todd Rundgren
Jul 26 2026

Extremely shocked at how contemporary a lot of the songs on this album were. He would be belting out a typical 70s ballad and then a synthesizer and drum break would show up and make it sound like MGM or Tally Hall. Really great listen Highly recommend

Dummy by Portishead
Jul 27 2026

Very nice but kind of flat

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Aug 03 2026
Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
Aug 05 2026
Buena Vista Social Club by Buena Vista Social Club
Aug 06 2026

Fantastic sound and construction, but hard to differentiate tracks, largely as I don’t speak the language

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Aug 10 2026
Gold by Ryan Adams
Aug 14 2026

Not for me
