On a rainy day, I'm a big Nick Drake fan. Mostly just the Way To Blue compilation, though. In that group with Cat Stevens and Leonard Cohen, though not as good as either. The Belle and Sebastian thing is funny.
It's fine, but it's not Damn the Torpedoes.
Jangled my nerves.
The hits are fun. The rest is not.
Just more crap.
This is not my favourite style of blues, but this album is great. What unbelievable energy.
The percussionist in me appreciates the marimba and vibes and timbales, but I’m always so-so on Latin jazz.
One of the albums that defibrillated guitar rock.
Probably a 3.5 really, but I'll round up because I like the band and listening to it made me feel 19.
A very moment-in-time album.
I like Monk, but this isn’t my favourite stuff.
It drops off pretty quickly after this, but I like this album.
My memory told me this was better. I guess that was the earlier albums.
Just not for me.
Still love it.
Good pianist, but a whole album of improv is boring.
Not as good as the other one.
I was never much into Haight/Ashbury rock.
Not their best, but I still love it.
I just wanted Gnarls Barkley.
Worst of the original albums and it’s still great.
I did not like it.
Not as bad as Yes, but I really don't like prog it turns out.
Liked it more than I expected.
Don’t know these songs, but I always like their sound.
They are good at what they do, but I’ve never been into it.
4- Really good. Pleasing.
Nearly a 5
3+ I liked a lot of it, but not all of it.
Minecraft music, but not as good.
I respect him, but I just can’t get into the song writing. Too much like Randy Newman.
2+ because the music is quite good. But the lyrics and vocals kill it.
3- for the ska beats
Not my thing, but they do their thing well. 3-
3+ This was fun.
0 if I could.
I used to like this album a lot. It has its moments.
I like these guys in theory, but in practice they kind of bore me.
This has its moments, but not enough of them.
