Good but not essential to be on this list with 6 other Neil Young albums, at least 5 of which make more sense
A mainstream rock album that was less experimental than I expected, only knowing their John Cale albums
One of the best R.E.M. albums, lots there for people who only know the singles too
Realistically a 3 star album for me but loses one because it's far too long. Did not need to be a double CD
Fine album, but the cover of Hallelujah loses a lot of its meaning by being too pretty (and inspiring the hordes of christian-themed covers of a very explicitly not christian song)
I don't like country all that much and this was not really for me - I think the reason he's so notable and included on this list makes sense, but it's aged incredibly poorly (he was the first country musician to use 4/4 time, and going back to that decades later does not sound special *because of* how influential it was)
Good album but not essential to belong on this list (He's got 7 peak albums on there plus Blackstar, which should be the represented late career album)
Classic of its genre, in the Joshua Tree vein where all the singles are on Side A so Side B at this point may have more to give on future listens
Feels like an album of mostly vibey filler built around 2 big songs
Liked it, would have liked it more if Side B had been more like Side A
First half was good, second half had some filler I could have done without
It was fine, not his greatest guitar work or anything but also not him ranting about lockdowns and immigrants
Give me at least a few songs on here that aren't midtempo and this'd get another star but it was far too same-y
They should turn turn turn back from this sound and go back to their more psych/pop stuff
