This album is fucking great, y'all are crazy. I mean just very good danceable synthy business, fun (and meaningful) lyrics, even got some kraftwerk-y industrial stuff to it? To me it really stays just about as good the entire time, and by good I mean great. Come and join the fun on the way to heaven!

God damn. When I saw this long-ass album runtime I was already dreading it, but it won me over like instantly. It is some really good groovin drum n bass in here. My only real issue with it is that I wouldn't listen to it or its tracks very much on account of their length, but damn. It's real good otherwise.

The myth, the legend! I'd heard of this album so many times prior, and as an album it really lived up to that expectation honestly. That saaaaid... there is not (at least, on initial listen) a lot of songs I would listen to outside of the album's context, which is pretty much the only reason it's not a 5. I don't listen to whole albums too often, so I do like to have that ability! Apologies to the vision, but it was really good to be fair.

Okay this album is actually fire. I think this is the most this genre, or maybe specifically this type of metal, has ever actually stuck and resonated with me? Something about it is just EXCELLENT sounding. Even despite the long song lengths, I never got the usual feeling of all this guitar sounding the same for 40 minutes. Great stuff.

Ah, this album is not really my cup of tea. It's just too acoustic for me, although I can tell he's doing work with that harmonica, and just overall compared to some other country/folk stuff I've heard thus far. Some tracks I would nearly like enough to listen to more often, but just aaaaren't quite there. I can tell he's good at his work though, and the songwriting is solid, which is why he gets a 3 here where I'd usually dish out a 2.

This lives up to the hype VERY solidly. This is something that could easily be a 5 in the future, it's just not right this second because I'm not sure that I'd listen to most of these too regularly... But regardless, as an album it is very solid. It's cool seeing the poem build up, as well recurring lyrics or phrases, and of course Kendrick is just so good at his craft, god damn. Producers on this are also insane.

Okay I don't know. I liked this better than Sgt. Pepper, and I thought it might be a 4 on the first listen, but like... it's just not there. I'm just not that interested in this style! However I will say that they are a step above just about all their contemporaries, absolutely.

Okay, this album is VERY funny to me, but the execution as music is not as there as I'd like. In that way this kind of reminds me of how I thought of The Slim Shady LP; funny, not bad, but nothing I'd want to listen to more often.

This album is fucking great, y'all are crazy. I mean just very good danceable synthy business, fun (and meaningful) lyrics, even got some kraftwerk-y industrial stuff to it? To me it really stays just about as good the entire time, and by good I mean great. Come and join the fun on the way to heaven!

This is a weird one to me. The first side is a pretty tight concept album thing-- not really my type musically, but pretty sweet in its narrative and structure. However then it turns into a weird blend of singles which are admittedly more my style! But they're just... there. Also my favorite song on this is Hazy Shade of Winter but I like the one by Gerard Way and Ray Toro better...

Okay while The Bends was solid, not a lot of it hooked me immediately. Not like this one! Starts of hard with 15 Step into Bodysnatchers, and while it slows down it continues to have very good shit. The ending with Videotape is really good too.

I think I have to give this a 5 just on account of the amount of time it took me to decide lol. It's a HARD listen and though there's a decent amount I'd be willing to maybe listen to on its own, I am sorta leery to if I'm not in the right state of mind! That said, great stuff music-wise and as an album.
