Horrible

I am sorry but anyone who reviews this album and gives it 2 or 3 stars should remove themselves from the site and be obligated to listen to 24 hours straight of The Foo Fighters. This album is a classic of country flok, country rock, folk rock, blues, you name it. Yes, Robbie Robertson was a putz but he was an excellent songwriter and his voice on several tracks make this album a classic.

One of the greatest albums of the 20th century.

Not the best Steely Dan album by a long shot but the album really showed their ability to move in and out of different genres. Some hits on here and a little filler but the filler would be the pinnacle of a lot of other bands

Legendary

Surprisingly good album. The band has such a different sound to almost every song it’s amazing

Such a unique talent. Gone too soon. Some people sing the blue. Some people sing soul music. But they just sing it. Winehouse is soul Winehouse is blues

I think it would be hard to dispute this albums greatness. Time may have worn people out on this album but it was and still is, a masterpiece. The production. The writing. The vocals. The music. It was so far ahead of its time I am not sure we have actual gotten “ it” yet.

Nothing more needs to be said.

I never really believed all the hype behind this band but as time went I really got like and understand what all the fuss was about. I think this album More any other really opened my eyes. Not a perfect album. Couple of songs just seem like filler but the strong songs are great.

Mature Sly Stone. At his absolute best

I don’t think it’s their best but still an infectious album.

There is a reason this album stayed on the charts for literally a half a century. It’s a masterpiece like no other record. From beginning to end it is perfect

Overrated album. Depressing with no style points. Sorry. Morrissey is the most overrated frontman alive.

I would give it zero stars.

This was the first album that I purchased with my own money. I loved every song to death. I still do. I think it holds up very well. In the grand scheme of things this one has to rank in the top 25. Rare album because each track is excellent.

Not my favorite Tribe album but very good just the same.

Not a fan of anything since. He was raw. Powerful back then. Now he’s a poser like every other “ artist” of that ilk. This album is great.

Not for everyone but this live album showed the true skills of the band.

Not the best Who albums by any measure but still has some great songs

Too much was made of this guy.

I may be biased but this album, for the most part, still stands up well. Not really the first rock opera but the first one that counted. I love Quadrophenia more but this album is iconic in ways few other albums ever reach.

One of the 25 best albums ever recorded. So many different styles. So many great songs!

Maybe the best single live perfomance by an artist ever. The guy was incredible on vynyl but live he was something else.
