Good music but felt to countryish at times.
Good lyrics, alright music.
This particular album wasn't really for me. I heard both the US and the UK versions. Paint it Black in the US version is a standout. There were some good ideas in the album but I don't really vibe with Jagger.
Need to relisten once. Wasn't blown away.
Good voice, meaningful lyrics. Simple and sweet. Didn't intrigue me enough musically though.
Mera khel khatam hai the album. Quite fun ngl.
Liked it alot. Definitely more my style.
Can definitely tell she tried with this one. Quality is very up and down throughout the album.
Amazing except the cringe 1 minute part in the middle with the fake indian accent.
Pretty good an sweet. Was a bit conservative with trying new things but the base idea was good.
It's fun because it's the beatles but the album wasn't particularly inspiring.
Fun album but depends on my mood. Have conflicting feelings about it much like the album cover itself.
Lyrically sound but musically underwhelming like most ldr albums.
Excellent album, had a lot of fun listening to this.
The lead singer has a very unique voice. Hit and miss album but some songs were a lot of fun.
Bob Marley is good old reggae fun, vibes and fun regardless while keeping it simple.
I’m going to carry that weight. Some of the less famous songs are the better ones. Good album overall.
Really powerful concept. Great parts every now and then but musically felt generic at some points. Can feel their influence over british music too.
Soda pop and deep in my heart were stands out. Reminded me of J-pop at times and good memories of persona 4. The rest of the album was not really my style though. Would have been one star if not for the stand outs.
I liked how one song sounded math rockish. Some tracks are solid. Coldplay is very hit or miss for me in general. But definitely one of the better pop albums out there.
Didn't really vibe with it. Should give it another shot though.
Was a really soothing listen. I don't think I would like this music everyday, very dependent on my mood. But a fun album overall.
Funny 90s sound, a bit repetitive but still fun.
Great lyrics, typical bob.
Great album. Had already heard it before and I really like other stuff by the twins as well. Also pretty neat that I'll be going to Las Vegas in the next couple of weeks.
Some banger nostalgia tracks but the album is not consistent and hits massive highs but a lot of lows.
Liked everything about this album other than Jagger's vocals.
Mex Sachine was a really cool song. Love me some wah pedal. Powerful album.
Feels very British nostalgic.
Gave me nirvana vibes. Pretty good album.
This had a really fun sound in between but wasn't consistent enough.
Great guitar solos sprinkled throughout and music which is fun to revisit.
One of the best Bowie albums I have heard.
Mariah can sing and yet the music is incredibly boring and repetitive. This was a really forgettable album but doesn’t take away from Mariah’s singing ability.
It was pretty good for the era it was from.
Pretty cool that 1001 albums recommended this on Christmas. I was so tired of hearing "Last Christmas" and "All I want for Christmas is you" over and over. This felt like a much better collection of Christmas songs. It had warmth and comfort even if it wasn't the best musically. I can see myself coming back to the album when I am down.
Amazing throwback to an album I have already listened to multiple times. Never gets old.
not my style but some songs stood out
I didn’t really connect with the album in my first two hearings of it. Just repeating city names felt off to me.
I don’t really like this music anymore. But I had fun with the album when it came out and some songs still bop when listened to after a long hiatus.
Hadn’t listened to alot of Kanye. This was fun music to listen to though.
Felt very disjoint. The motifs felt repetitive. The deep singing voice was good and I connected with some songs but it was a miss more often than not.
Sounded like the beatles at some points. Really dig their sound and they had good harmonies.
The lyrics were good. The music was solid.
I found this album to be very smoothing and relaxing. It goes along really well as background noise when I am working as well. I anticipate returning to the album every now and then and the cover art was also delightful.
One of my favorite albums of all time but I am biased as a guitarist. The solo's are timeless.
I am a bit biased as a guitarist here. I find some Van Halen stuff amazing even though my brain sort of knows that it can lack musical sophistication. The lyrics are not particularly amazing but it cannot take away from the beauty of those guitar tapping solos.
I can see this album inspiring the album "Bleach" by Nirvana which is my favorite Nirvana album. The album was consistent throughout and even the live tracks were really good.
Didn't really impress me all that much even though some songs were super meaningful. Going through it felt a bit like a chore even though there is decent musical production every now and then. I can see that it inspired a lot and the tracks were groovy but I didn't vibe too much with it.
A bit too repetitive. The songs are good standalone but I wouldn't want to listen to an album. Talented singer but the music wasn't really the type I like.
I found the album to eclectic and fun. Reminded me of YES for some reason. It was a trippy but fun experience nonetheless.
Another banger album. I have also realized that the albums I tend to like have very likable album covers in general. Felt like high quality rock.
One of the best Beatles albums I have heard. Lots of innovation and even deleted takes of songs were fun to listen to. Really cool album art to accompany it as well.
The album had some bops but mostly wasn't my style. Half of it was just my guy trying to sound tough. Had all elements required to be a chronic but doesn't qualify as great music for me.
Reminded me a lot of "Elephant Talk" by King Crimson and while the album was good, I don't really feel like listening to it again.
It was a fun album and one that I would like to play. I need to carefully relisten.
Some fun ideas but -1 star for moaning noises for a track. What is the obsession with moaning noises in the albums on here jfc.
I don't have much to say because I don't really have any memories of this for the most part. I liked listening to it though.
Second song was really weird (not in a good way). The opening was really strong. The rest were also pretty good.
Elite album. Had a lot of fun listening to it and it just reinforces my belief that Paul was the true heart of the beatles and not lenon.
Lives up to the album name. Elite album , love the style and will revisit it again.
This was a fun album to listen to even amidst the excessive name dropping.
The album was okay. Not breathtaking but fun too.
Some songs peak really hard. I have heard this before and "Send my Love" and "When we were young" are bops.
Not perverse. Solid ideas. Didn't dread listening to rap on here for once.
I didn't really enjoy it as much.
I hate to be one of those people but I loved this album. Björk's singing was disappointing but the music was amazing.
Didn't like my first listen as much but liked the second listen a tad bit more.
Had heard a few songs from this before and really liked it. Fondly remember genius of love from IASIP.
R.E.M songs have never quite clicked for me in spite of their lyrical strengths. Will try and listen more actively.
This was an amazing album to listen to. Love me some loser music. Although lyrically the album isn't as strong as some of radioheads other works the music more than made up for it.
One or two standouts and good lyrics throughout but not a lot of musical versatility. I'll give it a re-listen some time but I was a bit bored.
The album sounded a bit generic. Some songs were really solid.
Some of the best trip hop out there.
Garage blasting rock at its finest.
So good. It felt dreamlike at times. Gave some smiths vibes too.
Sounded bowie esque. A whole lot of yap and weird screaming though which only sounds good on record. The music was okay.
Could really spiral downwards with the album. Its pretty good apart from some questionable lyrics.
I think I really like fusion.
Chic just like the artists.
Solid album. Stuck to the good ideas it found.
Reminded me of the beastie boys. Solid album. Words are repeated far too much.
This was a surprisingly good album.
This was a really good hip hop album. The flow was excellent, not overly decadent.
I have a guitarists bias.
Meh. I didn't like the music all that much.
I sighed after seeing the album cover but consistent flow throughout the album.
I listened to the live version of this. Amazing.
Lots of interesting ideas in the album.
Mostly meh. Some good songs in between such as breathless.
Was alright. Maybe I need to revisit it but I didn't love it too much.
I don't really know how to judge this. Seemed alright.
Objectively a good album, just wasn't feeling it on my latest listen.
It didn't reach the highs (and lows) of other radiohead albums.
Honestly a really solid album.
Seemed a bit uninspiring.
more like 4.5/5 but i'll round up on this. Hype.
Amazing album once again.
Some songs were really soothing.
Some songs were really good. The lows were quite low too.
