I'm afraid I'll just never get into Rock n Roll, sorry Richard! I know, all the music I like would exist without this etc and so on, but I still cannot enjoy it, and my enjoyment is the only honest rating I can give

Couldnt remember what this sounded like, but I like the style better now then when I first heard it years ago. Still, it's more being impressed than pure enjoyment as it becomes a bit too much for me with some grating parts.
Well, it's perfect for what it is and sounds amazing. Too bas that "what it is" doesnt interest me very much.
A staple of my adolescent years. A cosmic endeavor indeed. From space prog over grungy ragers to fragile ballads and some of the best dream rock singles.

I can see how some people listen to this to feel good and happy. I just find it incredibly annoying. I wonder if by the end of this experiment I can tolerate some genres I've never liked (funk, soul, disco, r'n'r, reggae...) or if my tastes are just more narrow than most

I think there are some great songs on here but just as many duds. Very talented musicians, hit and miss songwriters imho
