Never really got into linkin park after my teenage angst days. But I alway preferred Minutes to Midnight. This album has surprised me a little, the lyrics are a bit corny but the album itself has held up really well musically. Lots of big hooks and great riffs.

Excellent live album, hit all the best bits of my favourite things about the blues, great solos and a band just having the time of their life
Very average, don't understand the hype around these guys at all, the 90s shout all the bars style rapping isn't my favourite

Excellent album, perfect length, some real bangers and a great unexpected choir to round it all off, only reason this hasn't hit 5 stars for me is it's a bit repetitive in style
Some great highlights but so many dreary dull moments, I get that the harmonies are interesting but it's not a great album for me
Great riffs, incredible drums but nothing that makes an impact, nothing lasting, aside from that one riff in smoke on the water there's nothing hugely memorable about this album for me

Still pretty overrated to me, opening track I wanna be adored, and the two closing tracks, I Am the Resurrection and Fools Gold are the best tracks. The rest is very forgettable, I suppose it's really impressive if you think Oasis is the be all and end all of music.

I'm learning I have alot of stereotypes of artists in my head based on little knowledge of them, this surprised me, the variety on the album is great
Nirvana meets the Hives, they not bad and some of the songs are pretty good I just find them so forgettable
Lovely trip down memory lane, I still feel like acid queen and the back half of this album weighs it down a bit but otherwise it's great

So much better than I expected, great flow, great beats, if anything one too many skits between tracks for me but still a lot of fun
Classic rolling stones, you can really see how they bridged the gap between old school rock and roll and more modern sounds
No skips, no bad tracks, some poor lyrics but the music, the vibe, everything else about this album is just perfect.
4.5/5 so I'm rounding it up to 5
Can't hear it without thinking of Hank Hill. And I tell you What, it says alot that this is an album of covers, I don't think he added much to any of them but it's pleasant enough
Very fun record I can see how they influenced alot of modern indie and alternative rock, even a bit of post punk style
Not sure what to make of this one. Music is a bit cliche and kind of all over the place thematically, too hit and miss for my liking

Very cool, love the 70s jazz style, it doesn't move me in the same way that classic jazz does but I do like the off beat aggressive nature of this. 3/5
I remember this not really grabbing me when I came out and on relisten I can see why. The intro and the lead single are great but the whole album is the same tone with no real variety. Atmospheric and pretty but ultimately repetitive and without a second gear. A generous 3/5
It's not Ziggy Stardust but I can see why it's alot of people's favourite Bowie record. Shivers down my spine during Life on Mars.
The second half of the album struggles to live up to the hype of the first half. 4/5

This is the kind of chaotic jazz I really love, the Spanish guitar sections are a great twist as well. All round great vibes.
Changing it to 5/5 cause I'm certainly going back to it over the next few weeks, I think Jazz is becoming my favourite genre out of all this. Love Mingus' blend of aggressive outbursts over smooth melodies on this album
I like this, can see the classic rock sound move into the more grungy sound of the 90s

Always a meh for me. Dire straits are technically great but lack the soul for me, feels a bit empty despite good riffs and song writing

This is the weird shit I want to find when I started this, french rockers growling over classical music samples? Bizarre and curious, I don't think it lands too well but I love the idea
