Fantastic.

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Feb 25 2026

Love the bass

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Mar 11 2026

The backing musicians were worth an extra star. Otherwise, 3 stars.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Mar 16 2026

Virtuoso piano. I did not enjoy the "songwriting".

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Mar 17 2026

I have never liked Mick's voice, but this album is brilliant.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Mar 18 2026

This was very well produced and Justin is talented, but the n-sync that followed it was more enjoyable.

Slippery When Wet by Bon Jovi
Mar 20 2026

Terrific guitar work and vocals. Some cheesy songwriting prevents the 5th star.

Who's Next by The Who
Mar 30 2026

I never think of Pete Townsend as a great guitarist, but he did great work on this. Entwhistle!

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Mar 31 2026

Legendary guitar. Needs better songwriting for 5 star

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Apr 03 2026

As good as it gets.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Apr 06 2026

Better than the other album on this list from her.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Apr 07 2026

The backing musicians are awesome.

Apr 09 2026

Great grooves and rhythm section. When will the lead instruments be added to complete this project?

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Apr 10 2026

A few songs i didn't care for, but some iconic ones and the overall musicianship still warrant star number 5 for me.

Kala by M.I.A.
Apr 17 2026

Pleasing beats and voice.

The Score by Fugees
Apr 20 2026

Great work.

Apr 22 2026

Great musicians and.variety. Happy to be exposed to this. Didn't love the vocals or vocal melodies.

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
Apr 24 2026

I thought this was boring. As each song ended I hoped it was the last.

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Apr 28 2026

One awesome song. From there, nothing extraordinary.

Apr 30 2026

This album showed what Pink Floyd could do. I prefer the Pink Floyd that showed what they should do, with less chaos and dissonance.

Dance Mania by Tito Puente
May 01 2026

A pleasure to listen to.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
May 04 2026

A bit jazzy for me, but clearly genius.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
May 05 2026

Solid work. Belongs on this list.

Sister by Sonic Youth
May 06 2026

This album was not pleasant to listen to.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
May 07 2026

Very interesting.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
May 08 2026

Bernard Edwards gets 5 stars all by himself.

B-52's by The B-52's
May 11 2026

Iconic fun music.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
May 12 2026

Reminds me of Bowie, but not as good.

Winter In America by Gil Scott-Heron
May 13 2026

Talented musicians. I loved the song The Bottle. A few other songs were enjoyable, but about half I did not care for.

Among The Living by Anthrax
May 20 2026

When i was younger I thought this was just noise, but i appreciate the musicianship behind the noise now.

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina
May 22 2026

Content not found on Amazon music and could not find the album title in Wikipedia discography. The song was good.

May 26 2026

Much of this is not something I would want to listen to, but some parts are so brilliant, 5 stars.

The Nightfly by Donald Fagen
May 27 2026

Not groundbreaking, a continuation of great work on broken ground.

Dear Science by TV On The Radio
May 29 2026

Did not like about half the songs, especially Lover's Day.

Green by R.E.M.
Jun 02 2026
I Am a Bird Now by Antony and the Johnsons
Jun 03 2026

Beautiful backing music. I was not a fan of the lead vocal or repetitive lyrics.

Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Jun 04 2026

Not my thing, but great work.

Meat Puppets II by Meat Puppets
Jun 05 2026

Great musicians. The singing ruined it for me, is it 'microtonal'? The vocal melodies are similar to what my wife sings when she parodies bad singing.

The Rising by Bruce Springsteen
Jun 10 2026

Darkness on the edge of town is great.

Now I Got Worry by The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion
Jun 11 2026

Some great riffs. I liked the bluesier ones more than the punkier ones.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Jun 12 2026

Liked the hit song.

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Jun 15 2026

I thought there were some nice Beatleesque melodies, but otherwise it was terrible and I couldn't wait for it to end.

Disintegration by The Cure
Jun 18 2026

I like other stuff by the Cure better. Some songs here droned on.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple
Jun 19 2026

Fiona is best with beautiful piano and sultry jazzy vocals. This album did not work for me. I think the critics who made this list put a lot of value on people who had traumatic experiences and gave them a voice.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jun 22 2026

A lovely collection of tunes, but they sometimes drone on into boredom.

Jun 24 2026

I am against themes of violence and discrimination, but this is really well done. If Ice T uses the N word, I hope he is ok with liberal white women using it, too.

Pieces Of The Sky by Emmylou Harris
Jun 25 2026

Excellent country music, beautiful voice.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Jun 29 2026

Reminded me of other bands, but with less energy.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Jun 30 2026

I am not a huge fan of the vocals or low energy rock, but this is well done.

Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
Jul 01 2026

A more modern Alice Cooper. John 5 is worth 4 stars by himself.

OK by Talvin Singh
Jul 02 2026

Beautiful music. Excellent musicians.

Jul 03 2026

Good rappers, very ghetto. Not as smart, musical or enjoyable as the Refugees, which followed this on Amazon music.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Jul 06 2026

I do not like dissonance, so disc 1 was hard to get through.

Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
Jul 08 2026

Another offering like the Cure. The curators of this list seem to have a few favorite genres... This was nice, but not great.

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Jul 09 2026

Some very good songs. As often is the case, Amazon selected something similar but better to follow it.

The Cars by The Cars
Jul 13 2026

Fantastic.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Jul 14 2026

Brilliant work by the orchestra.

25 by Adele
Jul 15 2026

Vulgar display of vocal power. A few songs might have benefitted from a softer approach.

The Yes Album by Yes
Jul 16 2026

Best album on this list so far. A true masterpiece.

Roots by Sepultura
Jul 17 2026

Solid album and a refreshing change from all the female solo artists on this list who sing about broken hearts. The critics seem to favor certain archetypes and honor those above diversity of genres.

Jul 20 2026

Another lovely album in the spirit of The Cure. I expected more diversity from this list.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 21 2026

One or two great songs.

Remedy by Basement Jaxx
Jul 23 2026

Some fun tunes.

Konnichiwa by Skepta
Jul 24 2026

Fairly good rap, but very repetitive self-promotion lyrics.

Illmatic by Nas
Jul 27 2026

Some of the best rap/hip hop on this list.

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Jul 28 2026

Some solos are a bit repetitive, but otherwise a masterpiece.

Jul 29 2026

Very repetitive, would benefit from meaningful lyrics.

Tical by Method Man
Jul 30 2026

I thought there original method man song with Wu Tan Clan was much better than this remix.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Jul 31 2026

Beautiful compositions and voice. Great diversity of style and subject.

Kid A by Radiohead
Aug 04 2026

Talented musicians but I don't like their music.

Heroes by David Bowie
Aug 10 2026
Pearl by Janis Joplin
Aug 11 2026

Awesome stuff, but not much variety.

Aug 13 2026

Earlier Pink Flord had senseless dissonance and chaotic noises seemingly without purpose. This album was a huge improvement.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Aug 17 2026

Some 5 star songs and impressive diversity. Top notch musicians.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Aug 18 2026

Flea is worth 4 stars. I think other RHCP is better and more influential.

Supa Dupa Fly by Missy Elliott
Aug 20 2026

Great voice and ability to rap. Great beats. Adequate compositions.
