Never really listened to the Stooges, new of Iggy's influence and can def hear in this album.

The Who a bar band, whose musical ambitions surpass the abilities of what they could do live, rip through their classics in the Live at Leeds album in a tight hour and 15 minutes. The sloppy energy do well for things like Can't Explain and Magic Bus, but fall flat on on the mini opera of A Quick One While He is Away.

a blistering album of early rock and roll covers intermixed with their originals. Simultaneously showing love to their influences, showing future bands what country rock is. This album is fun, albeit a tedious affair.

I mean sure this is a classic, but nearly 40 years on it wears thin. While Morrisey's pretentiousness doesn't get to the full self importance of his current work, you see the seeds of what he will become. Of course the band creates these beautiful sonic landscapes in which we can float around partially ignoring Morrisey's lyrics, which is good thing.

My parents went to high school with the guys from cheap trick. While they were married with two kids when this album came out, Cheap Trick was living the rock and roll life style in Japan. This album is a muddy mess. The mix is pretty terrible, the crowd is too loud and the instruments sound like they are being played with cotton balls in the speakers. No more live albums.

This is one of the greatest albums. So influential, so wonderful.
