Fuses a lot of styles, funky bass lines, classic Pharrell guitar hooks, seen later in Daft Punks last album. It does remind me of how every song sounded in the early 2000s.

Paper tiger has Radiohead vibes with the dramatic violins Lonesome tears outro was cool in a kind of drifting in space way. It's a very mellow album with some interesting sections in the tracks. I particularly enjoyed the textures and production on Sunday Sun

Feels more considered song writing, McCartney and Lennon maturing as writers

Some recognisable classics but it's quite dull

Better than I was expecting, as I'm not a fan of his Billie's vocal

The textures and genre blending on this album are so refreshing and still sounds great 20 years later Rebellion (Lies) is incredible as a piece of song writing

I didn't expect to like this, but it's great!

I knew this was a classic album but I've never listened to it. Wow. Every song is either a great 4 minute rock song or has an outro if pure self indulgence

Some great songs and William Orbit's production shines through, but there are some filler tracks on here that are very forgettable. I remembered this album being better!

Has vibes of a poor man's queen's of the stone age. The vocal isn't particularly strong. Not sure why it's on this list

The use of samples set a new precedent for dance music, and brought it to the masses. This creates a depth to the tracks that make them super interesting to listen to!

Loving the shifting soundscape from left to right. This was probably done to death after Jimi but it sounds original here

Some great songs on here from a polished performer.

I've never explored iron maiden's music, and when clicking this to listen to I wasn't aware it was their debut. It sounds different to what I've heard before on the radio etc. possibly because the vocalist is different. It's clearly a founding inspiration for many 70s/ 80s metal bands like GnR and Judas Priest. For 1968 this is super progressive and innovative! I just don't like metal particularly.

This album should have stopped at track 7 and not bothered with the tracks and covers thereafter. I went in with preconceived ideas of what this will sound like - dull lyrics and boring folk guitar. But it's actually interesting to listen to and the inclusion of moog synth early on got my attention, adding depth to acoustic ramblings

This is so inoffensive that it's actually offensive. Plodding baselines with soft jazz overtones. Just screams late night Magic radio music

Cash's voice stops you in your tracks. Songs once familiar and now stripped back and given new perspectives. Reminder of the power of an engaging voice and a simple melody

I am surprised how good this is, the string based beats and melodies make it very listenable. No huge standout moments but just high consistency across the record.
