8.5/10 I can't find the words to describe this album. Not what I expected but in a good way.

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Jan 24 2026

8.5/10 Immediately clicked for me, Badlands is a very strong opener and Adam Raised a Cain keeps up the pace so well. Most of the songs including a guitar solo was an unexpected but great decision.

Horses by Patti Smith
Jan 24 2026

8/10 I have to admit I probably missed a lot of details and I need another listen, but the songwriting is consistently great and I loved that opener a lot.

Bossanova by Pixies
Jan 25 2026

7/10 It's pretty good but honestly nothing here really grabbed my attention.

Pornography by The Cure
Jan 26 2026

8.5/10 I really enjoyed the dark lyrics and how heavy the instrumentation feels. Pretty good vocals too.

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
Jan 27 2026

6.5/10 Definitely not for me but it doesn't overstay it's welcome at least

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Jan 27 2026

9/10 It took a few listens for this album to settle in but I enjoyed it a lot.

Jan 28 2026

7/10 Never listened to a U2 album before but I enjoyed this one a lot! Fav part was the instrumentation for sure.

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Jan 29 2026

6/10 I did not enjoy this one for the most part, there were a few highlights such as Sonic Attack but the majority of songs just felt like listening to someone play guitar without any major differences, it was a bit too unfocused for me. Might change my mind on another listen.

Tom Tom Club by Tom Tom Club

6.5/10 Pretty nice instrumental album but nothing spectacular, and it gets repetitive after a while.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Feb 05 2026

8/10 Amy's vocals are really amazing here. Definitely a strong debut.

Wild Gift by X
Feb 06 2026

7/10 It's pretty alright, with some really good guitar moments.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Feb 07 2026

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Feb 08 2026

8.5/10 Really good production and vocals all around, will definitely come back to it.

1989 by Taylor Swift
Feb 09 2026

4/10 I'm not even trying to be a hater but I genuinely don't think you need to hear this album before you die. There's nothing special about the production or the songwriting, and if we're gonna include an album on this list because it has a lot of bops this album doesn't even have enough of them.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 10 2026

6.5/10 It's pretty alright, I didn't find anything remarkable about it but it's good for easy listening in the background.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Feb 11 2026

8/10 A solid folk album. First time I listen to Paul Simon, really enjoyed the variety in sounds used here.

Goo by Sonic Youth
Feb 12 2026

8.5/10 I really liked how the album uses noise without ever feeling overwhelming, and the songwriting is amazing. I had a really good time listening to it.

Feb 13 2026

9/10 This album just sounds like what an 80s synth pop album should sound like, it's dancey and doesn't take itself too seriously. Marc's singing is so fun it makes me want to sing along 10 seconds into any song.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Feb 14 2026

8/10 I normally don't listen to hard rock at all but this was a fun time. Favorite song is Jaime's Cryin'

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
Feb 15 2026

8.5/10 An album made entirely from samples that still sounds this consistent is seriously impressive. I just wish it was a bit shorter.

American Beauty by Grateful Dead
Feb 16 2026

7/10 It's good folk music I guess, it's just that nothing here really stood out on a first listen.

Guero by Beck
Feb 17 2026

8/10 Pretty fun album with a variety of sounds and samples. Favorite song is Hell Yes.

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Feb 18 2026

7/10 A pretty fun pop punk album. I kinda wish they switched things up a bit, because even though the songs are short, they started getting a little samey. Still enjoyable regardless.

Django Django by Django Django
Feb 19 2026

8/10 Good album for easy listening. I give it 4 Djangos out of 5.

More Specials by The Specials
Feb 20 2026

6/10 Maybe it's not for me but I didn't like it a lot. I just don't see this album doing anything interesting or new for an album released in 1980.

Feb 21 2026

7.5/10 I like the songwriting and his singing but it gets a bit boring after a while.

Remedy by Basement Jaxx
Feb 22 2026

8.5/10 A pleasant surprise from this list, full of fun beats that pushed the boundaries of house music. I can feel RnB influences in some of the tracks.

Feb 24 2026

8/10 While most mainstream Hip-Hop isn't my thing, I really enjoyed this album. The production across these songs is so diverse and feels calm in a way that nicely contrasts with the rapping.

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 25 2026

8/10 Pretty good album! I don't have much to say other than that I'm looking forward to listening to more from this band.

Forever Changes by Love
Feb 26 2026

8/10 Waiter! waiter! more folk rock please!!

Calenture by The Triffids
Feb 27 2026

7/10 I think it's fine but nothing in it stands out to me.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Feb 28 2026

I'd rather not give this album a rating seeing that the most impressive aspects of it are technical. All I'm gonna say is that I really enjoy it. Blue Rondo and Take Five are really cool.

If You're Feeling Sinister by Belle & Sebastian
Mar 01 2026

7/10 I thought it was a bit boring at first but it sort of grew on me halfway through. I love this brand of Baroque Pop but the singing style was not doing it for me.

Red Dirt Girl by Emmylou Harris
Mar 02 2026

8/10 My first time listening to Emmylou Harris and I love it! Really reminds me of Dolly Parton. Maybe not a groundbreaking album but the vocals are amazing and the instruments were nice and kept it fresh.

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Mar 04 2026

9/10 Feels experimental without being overwhelming. I love how this album has several different sounds while staying thematically consistent.

Court And Spark by Joni Mitchell
Mar 05 2026

8/10 I like this jazzier version of Joni Mitchell's music, and the songwriting is great as usual.

The Sun Rises In The East by Jeru The Damaja
Mar 06 2026

8.5/10 I really enjoyed the beats on this, I found it more enjoyable during the less serious parts but it's a really good album overall.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Mar 07 2026

8/10 Not the biggest fan of live albums but this is definitely one of the better ones I listened to

Mar 08 2026

8/10 Really good dance music, Rockafeller Skank is insane. Maybe should've been kept a bit shorter.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Mar 09 2026

8/10 Not gonna lie this might be my least favorite of her albums, but it's an excellent debut. Really pleasant piano playing, but the album starts losing momentum near the end.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Mar 10 2026

7.5/10 I really like Elliott Smith's songwriting style and the sad mood comes across well with the production, I just wish his singing was a bit more interesting.

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Mar 11 2026

8/10 Really enjoyable but I kinda wish it went all the way with the funkiness.

Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Mar 12 2026

8.5/10 This is my first time listening to Beth Orton and I'm really loving it. Her vocals really shine over the simple quiet instrumentals, especially the last few songs. Also I have to mention the beautiful singing on Pass In Time (with guest vocals by Terry Callier), definitely my favorite song on the album.

Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby by Girls Against Boys
Mar 13 2026

8/10 Pretty solid album. Punk rock album with a pretty noisy sound.

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Mar 15 2026

9/10 My first time listening to a Nina Simone album, and I’m blown away. I’m really impressed by the range of her voice here. “Four Women” is such a powerful song, immediately made me stop everything and just listen when it started.

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Mar 16 2026

8/10 'That Lady' is the highlight but the rest of the album keeps a solid pace too. Cool mix of funk and soul.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Mar 17 2026

9/10 Very consistent album without a single weak song, Chrissie Hynde's vocals are lovely.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Mar 19 2026

7/10 I can see what they were going for but it didn't leave much of an impression for me. It's electronic, it's dancey, but it's also kind of repetitive.

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Mar 20 2026

7/10 The highs here are very good (Moonshine, Dreamer and Only with You) but a lot of these songs didn't interest me all that much.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Mar 21 2026

8/10 Bob Dylan’s songwriting shines through here again, but I also prefer the more prominent presence of the instruments here, as I don’t think his voice alone (with minimal instrumentation) is enough to carry an entire album.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Mar 22 2026

9/10 I can't exactly pin down what exactly makes me love this album, but the sound has such an ethereal and otherworldly quality that makes it such a relaxing experience.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Mar 23 2026

8/10 I really enjoyed the singles, the guitar and vocals were really impressive. Eric Clapton is still a racist asshole.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Mar 24 2026

8.5/10 I really like the concept and the songs flow well, maybe they could've done away with some of the interludes as I don't think they added much imo. But overall it was a really solid listen. Can't wait to see the movie!

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Mar 25 2026

9/10 I love how groovy it sounds while having such deep lyrics, Curtis Mayfield has such a beautiful voice. Also I'm kinda blown away that it's a soundtrack album because the storytelling is great on it's own.

Something/Anything? by Todd Rundgren
Mar 26 2026

8.5/10 I think the amount of variety, without necessarily having any bad songs, is impressive on its own. There are a few songs I personally wouldn't include, but it’s nevertheless a great record.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Mar 27 2026

10/10 I've already listened to this album in full like 50 times. This album's strongest suit is the constant change in sound going from R&B to psychedelic pop to funk. Just an amazing debut album.

Arrival by ABBA
Mar 28 2026

8.5/10 No one makes disco music like ABBA, Dancing Queen is as great as ever.

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Mar 29 2026

7.5/10 Sarah Vaughan's vocals sound amazing, but the songs aren't anything too special. It does feel like it would've been a really fun show to attend though.

Mar 30 2026

7.5/10 Might be a bit samey but I love how high energy it sounds, especially on the second half.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Mar 31 2026

8.5/10 I enjoyed all the songs but the singles, especially It's Tricky and Walk This Way, are on another level.

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
Apr 03 2026

6.5/10 Come On Eileen is cool but the rest isn't very different, it's not bad though.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Apr 05 2026

8.5/10 For a record made up entirely of murder ballads, it's surprisingly diverse. The storytelling is so descriptive, it paints such a complete picture of the described stories.

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits
Apr 06 2026

7.5/10 The vocals are very hit or miss for me but overall I enjoyed it

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Apr 07 2026

8/10 While I'm not the biggest fan of hip-hop, I can still recognize how great this album is. It's full of bangers, and the production is pretty smooth.

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Apr 08 2026

8/10 Such a pleasant listen, it's got enough variety to keep me interested throughout

Duck Stab/Buster & Glen by The Residents
Apr 09 2026

8.5/10 This is the kind of weird shit I came here for, I don't think I'm gonna listen to it much but it made more of an impression than a lot of the albums on this list.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Apr 10 2026

8.5/10 I really enjoyed this, it has a mix of glam and psychedelic rock with some songs having a bit of a folk sound.

Imagine by John Lennon
Apr 11 2026

6/10 The lyrics really are the only thing going for this album.

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Apr 12 2026

6/10 It's a bit fun I guess but I can't deny that this is pretty basic britpop and not worth being here at all.

Throwing Muses by Throwing Muses
Apr 13 2026

8.5/10 I really like that this album didn't stick with just one sound and kept changing

It's Too Late to Stop Now by Van Morrison
Apr 15 2026

8/10 Never listened to Van Morrison before but damn his vocal performance here is really impressive.

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Apr 16 2026

8/10 Not familiar with Deep Purple's music but I really enjoyed this, might be one of the better live recordings I've listened to.

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Apr 17 2026

8/10 Definitely her best album, I like most of these songs but damn did it have to be this long?

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Apr 18 2026

8/10 I don't have a lot to say but I like it, I could listen to Belinda Carlisle sing all day.

Raw Like Sushi by Neneh Cherry
Apr 20 2026

8/10 The first 4 singles are absolute bangers but the rest is alright I guess.

Bad by Michael Jackson
Apr 21 2026

8/10 While I can see that it has that unmistakable 80s sound that almost everyone else did, this one has smooth criminal.

My Generation by The Who
Apr 24 2026

7/10 I kinda like this RnB sound on The Who, even if I enjoyed their later stuff more.

Apr 25 2026

8.5/10 I really like how prominent the guitar and drums sound as it showcases how well-crafted the melodies are, even if that meant drowning out David Byrne's voice in some of the songs.

2112 by Rush
Apr 26 2026

8/10

Sincere by Mj Cole
Apr 27 2026

6/10 Not a bad album, but nothing here really blows me away, I guess this was the first time I heard the original sample for Desperado by Azealia Banks.

Apr 28 2026

7.5/10 It's an enjoyable listen, Michael Stipe's voice is so pleasant to hear.

Younger Than Yesterday by The Byrds
Apr 30 2026

7/10 While enjoyable, nothing here really stood out to me enough to make me want to listen to this album again. However, I can see the influence their music had on many acts that came later.

Connected by Stereo MC's
May 01 2026

7/10 It's got some nice beats but I didn't care for the rap verses.

The Yes Album by Yes
May 02 2026

8.5/10 I really like how punchy the guitar riffs sound and the bass just sounds great, but I realized after a while that I really don't like the vocals for the most part. I get what they were going for but they're just not for me. Favorite tracks are Starship Trooper and Perpetual Change.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
May 03 2026

8.5/10 I can never get tired of Stevie Wonder's singing voice. Just a well-crafted soul album that delivers as expected.

Survivor by Destiny's Child
May 04 2026

6/10 The first 3 songs are amazing and I even enjoyed Nasty Girl despite the awful lyrics, but this album suffers from the same problem I have with most albums of that era, it's unfocused and bloated as hell. As for the songwriting, I'm giving it as much thought as they were giving it by not thinking about it at all.

Larks' Tongues In Aspic by King Crimson
May 06 2026

I like KC, but this record eludes me. I gave it two listens, but I just don't think I'm feeling it yet. Some elements grabbed me (such as the violin in Part II of the title track), but I think this one might truly be too weird for me. I Still appreciate the work they put into it though.

The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers
May 07 2026

8/10 I really like the hard and punk rock sound they've got going on here, songwriting ranges from pretty solid to sometimes too edgy.

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
May 08 2026

8/10 Really fun energetic punk album, an enjoyable quick listen.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
May 09 2026

8.5/10 I can't find the words to describe this album. Not what I expected but in a good way.

Copper Blue by Sugar
May 11 2026

8/10 Loud ass alt rock, with all the good and bad that comes with it. It's not the most unique thing but it's an enjoyable listen.

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
May 12 2026

I gave this one a good rating last time I got it here so I'm gonna give it a 1 out of spite for eric clapton's racist ass

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
May 13 2026

9/10 This was my first time listening to this album in full and I kept being surprised by it. Production and songwriting are top notch.

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
May 14 2026

8.5/10 I really liked this! Which shouldn't be surprising for me by now, I'd put this album slightly below MSABAF because I really like the sound, but I didn't feel as many songs stood out here.

Rip It Up by Orange Juice
May 15 2026

7.5/10 It's fun and varied I'll give it that.

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
May 16 2026

9.5/10 Such a classic Soul album. There isn't a single song here that I didn't find to great. Aretha's voice is incredible as usual but the production here surprised a few times too.

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
May 18 2026

It's pretty decent for a teen pop album. Personally I'd rate this pretty low on Britney's discography but it's fun and lighthearted and I think there's been a shortage of that on this challenge so far. Britney's voice is really beautiful here and I love how it sounds on Soda Pop. I can't believe that Autumn Goodbye is a bonus track, it's one of the best songs on this album.

Hotel California by Eagles
May 19 2026

6/10 It's pretty alright, the guitar solo on the title track is pretty nice and I enjoyed Life in the Fast Lane, but the rest just goes at a steady pace (which is not a bad thing).

Marquee Moon by Television
May 21 2026

8/10 I really liked this, lots of fun catchy riffs all over. I didn't like the vocals at first but I think I'm starting to get used to them.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
May 23 2026

7/10 The beats are nice and catchy, but the lyrics are misogynistic and just lazy a lot of the time. Definitely a product of its time.

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
May 24 2026

9/10 I'm not a fan of Joni as a person, but this is her best work in my opinion. The minimalist instrumentation and subtle guitars work really well with her beautiful vocal melodies.

What's That Noise? by Coldcut
May 25 2026

8/10 It's pretty fun and danceable. The sample use in 'Stop This Crazy Thing' particularly stands out.

May 26 2026

7.5/10 I like how much it sounds like a mix of musical theater with rock music, but the quality of the songs is a bit inconsistent.

May 27 2026

8/10 I wasn't really feeling this at first but it had a few surprises such as 'Bob's Yer Uncle'. I think it might grow on me with more listens.

The Doors by The Doors
May 29 2026

8.5/10 I love everything going on here but I especially liked 'The Crystal Ship', I think that sound works for them really well.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
May 30 2026

9/10 As someone who has only dabbled a little in metal music, I think it would be hard to argue against this being one of the best metal albums. 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' is such a satisfying way to end an album that, in my opinion, has no misses.

The Good, The Bad & The Queen by The Good, The Bad & The Queen
Jun 01 2026

7/10 Pretty good indie rock album, but nothing really stood out to me.

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Jun 02 2026

8.5/10 It's got some catchy tunes and some of my favorite Lennon vocals. Despite being one of my favorites here, 'You Can't Do That' is not helping Lennon beat the allegations.

Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
Jun 03 2026

It's really hard to seperate the art from the artist with Marilyn Manson.

Rocks by Aerosmith
Jun 04 2026
The Cars by The Cars
Jun 06 2026

8.5/10 A solid new wave album that uses synths really well. Awesome vocals too.

Jun 07 2026

8.5/10 Johnny Cash's voice is great as usual, but for some reason the duet with Fiona Apple was what really got my attention. I think it was pretty great overall.

Ocean Rain by Echo And The Bunnymen
Jun 08 2026

8.5/10 I'm not familiar with their music but I really enjoyed this! Ian Mcculloch is such a great vocalist.

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Jun 09 2026

9/10 Yeah Bittersweet Symphony is the big one but the guitar work and the strings throughout the album really clicked for me.

Jun 11 2026

7/10 This was a very interesting listen. I liked the creative fusion of genres, but I wish the second half was as interesting as the first.

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Jun 12 2026

I understand the significance of this record, but it didn't do a whole lot for me.

Debut by Björk
Jun 13 2026

9/10 This album is Björk at her most dancey. She was so ahead of her time when it came to making experimental pop music, and it's wild to think this was her solo debut.

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Jun 14 2026

This is a perfectly serviceable Baroque album, but I don't think it's a must-listen at all.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jun 16 2026

9/10 Jimi Hendrix really is a legendary guitarist, I'm surprised this album was 73 minutes long because it quickly passed by. I have to admit it might take some getting used to but there's still a lot to appreciate in how experimental it gets.

5/10 It's a decent live album. Not sure why it had to be included in the book but at least I enjoyed the second half with the band. Really surprised that the audience preferred the acoustic half.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jun 18 2026

8/10 This was a nice, mostly instrumental, jazz fusion album. I especially enjoyed the first half.

Dr. Octagonecologyst by Dr. Octagon
Jun 21 2026

8/10 A campy hip-hop concept album that doesn't take itself too seriously. I enjoyed this more than I expected.

Melodrama by Lorde
Jun 23 2026

9/10 Possibly my favorite album produced by Jack Antonoff. Lorde's songwriting and vocals were at their best here too. Very solid synthpop album.

Make Yourself by Incubus
Jun 25 2026

7.5/10 Might be a bit generic but I can't deny that the production and vocals are very good.

Kilimanjaro by The Teardrop Explodes
Jun 26 2026

8/10

Jun 27 2026

9.5/10 This album was my introduction to prog rock and it still sounds as great as the first time, It's just really well made and grabs your attention the whole way. Sometimes I wonder what "The Dream" part of Moonchild as a full song would be like because it's so unexpected compared to the rest of the album.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Jun 28 2026

8.5/10 Every once in a while I randomly get surprised by a debut album. Sultans of Swing is such a damn good track.

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Jun 29 2026

9/10 This sure was an unexpected album. I really felt the passion in the vocals, and the instrumentation was very smooth, fantastic use of the drums and trumpets.

Superunknown by Soundgarden

8/10 Very good grunge album that could've benefitted from removing some of the later tracks as they didn't add anything and felt more like filler.

Planet Rock: The Album by Afrika Bambaataa

8/10 I had a lot of fun with this but I have to admit it feels a bit dated at times

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jul 02 2026

8/10 This was pretty nice, I think the use of synths here was a good choice. I would have liked it better if it kept the energy of the first two tracks.

Locust Abortion Technician by Butthole Surfers

I like getting these weird experimental albums. Even if the music sounds like a shitpost, at least I get something fun out of it.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Jul 05 2026

8.5/10 It's nice to see a proper 70s disco album here. A lot of disco albums from this era get overlooked by critics because of how oversaturated it was, but this album really stands out with Rodgers and Edwards' production.

Vulnicura by Björk
Jul 06 2026

It took me a while, but I think I'm starting to appreciate what makes this album so acclaimed. It's really impressive how Björk's music keeps evolving and pushing musical boundaries, not to mention Arca's contribution here. The songwriting might even be my favorite out of all her albums up until that point. However, I have to admit a small part of me will always be annoyed that Homogenic never made it on this book, as I think that album was her most groundbreaking in terms of sound.

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Jul 10 2026

7/10 Tina Turner doing what she does best. Her vocal performance is great and I can immediately see why this was such a big hit. However, it does sound quite dated, and it doesn't help that most of the album is a bunch of singles taped together. But it's still a fun record though, and it's the biggest reason why Tina Turner will always be remembered as one of the 80s pop icons.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Jul 12 2026

6.5/10 This is my second Rolling Stones album and I'm still not seeing what's great about their music. I enjoyed some of these songs but nothing here really grabbed me enough to understand the goodwill this album received

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Jul 14 2026

8/10 I really liked this at first, it ran out of steam in the last 30 minutes though. But I still liked a lot of these songs individually such as Kashmir.

There's A Riot Goin' On by Sly & The Family Stone
Jul 15 2026

7.5/10 I'm not particularly crazy about this album, but I did enjoy it. Always love a good funk album.

Tical by Method Man
Jul 17 2026

8.5/10 Well-produced Hip-hop album filled with unexpected sample choices that somehow work well.

Jul 18 2026

8/10 It's mostly made up of covers, but just hearing Otis Redding's singing is enough for me to enjoy this.

Gold by Ryan Adams
Jul 19 2026

6/10 I like Ryan Adams' singing voice, but nothing else here really impressed me.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jul 20 2026

8/10

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jul 21 2026

8/10 Don't have a lot to say, but this was a pleasant listen. This type of jazz doesn't do a whole lot for me but I still appreciate the quality here.

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Aug 13 2026

This is my first time fully listening to a Simon & Garfunkel album, and I'm immediately enjoying the wide range of instruments used. Favorite things about the album: The progressively louder trumpets on 'Keep the Customer Satisfied', The final chorus of 'The Boxer', and what sounds like a baritone sax in 'Why Don't You Write Me'. Also, the songwriting is definitely a highlight.
