Loved this album. Definitely their best work. 9/10. The extended 25th Anniversary edition is also excellent.

Never really listened to this album. Heard the singles obviously, but Bur were never really my cup of tea.

London Calling by The Clash

I thought this was a terrific album. Constantly changing on a track by track basis, but hardly a weak track on the complete album. Probably this and their first album was The Clash at their best.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Never listened to this album. Have heard the track American Girl, but that's all. I know Tom Petty is critically acclaimed by the music press.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand

Very strong debut album. Lots of catchy tunes. Typical indie for that time. Definitely worth a listen.

I have never listened to this album. I have made a note of it and will try to do so in the future.

Never listened to this album. I have heard tracks by Slipknot. Interesting to say the least.

S&M by Metallica

Have not listened to this album. I have heard a few tracks by Metallica but they are not really my type of music to listen to.

Station To Station by David Bowie

I firstly must admit that I am a David Bowie fan. On first few times of listening to this album I was not sure, now I love it. The title track is amazing. It was typical of Bowie to go in a totally different direction with his music although he knew it may alienate some fans. Definitely worth listening to.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire

Excellent album. I was dubious about Arcade Fire when I read some of the music press reports and reviews. But I found that the album was just 'different' to other releases around that time. Well worth listening to.

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse

Great album, great voice. Terrible loss at such a young age. She even recognised her own problems in the track 'Rehab', but she obviously had too many demons. Well worth listening to.

I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You by Aretha Franklin

Have never listened to this album but I do love Aretha Franklin's voice. I imagine the album would be very good.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem

I found this album quite interesting because I had never really listened to rap before heard it. The lyrics are funny,cutting and downright crude at times. Overall an album worth listening to with an open mind if you are not a rap person.

Here Come The Warm Jets by Brian Eno

After hearing Roxy Music and loving everything they did, I must admit I was quite upset when Eno left. Then I listened to this album and you could tell how far apart Ferry and Eno were regarding their musical output. If people thought that this would be Roxy Part 2 they would have been sorely disappointed. This was Eno Part 1 and he never looked back. A great album which deserves listening to over and over.

Strangeways, Here We Come by The Smiths

Haven't really listened to this album. Think I heard it once, but was not a massive Smiths fan anyway. The one album of their's I do like is Hatful Of Hollow.
