Rapping and singing in multiple languages takes talent!
Impressive flow and lyrics
Love this album, My mom says I hated it as a kid but I don't remember that.
Not beck's best album, but still pretty great
Lost my virginity to the album.
I liked this much more than I expected
He's a great rapper with great beats, but I remembered why I didn't like him even back in the day. Angry lyrics about wife beating and rape just aren't for me.
While I can appreciate that Rush is very musically talented, I cannot get over my dislike of them. That voice is like a cheese grater.
Not a big fan of live albums. Solos were just way too long. And why do much screeching?
Had me dreaming of electric sheep
Have always loved the flow of this album It's very cohesive
If I ordered the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack on Wish.
The first two songs had me thinking that they had changed their sound since I listened to them in the 90s, but then it got back to their roots. Solid album.
Depressing and out of tune
I feel in love with Alice in chains as a teenager. I don't think I realized at the time how deep his addiction was. That being said this album wasn't my favorite one but lots of his songs.
Tom waits is fucking weird and I'm here for it.
This here is baby making music
Teenage favorite that still holds up
Groove is in the heart saves this album
This was very enjoyable. I wish I could have understood the story.
This album kept getting worse as it went on.
Needs Bruce. Still a very solid album.
Love his voice, could use a better musical track
I'm usually not big into life albums, but Johnny Cash's interaction with this one was awesome
So many fantastic songs but a couple of duds keep me from giving it a full five stars
I'm sure that 15-year-old me would have adored this album
One of the best albums of all time.
Not really my jam, but a classic
One of the great rock operas
I love Costello but this isn't his best work
The voicemails at the end of each track ruined this album. At least have them as separate tracks. The beats were good, flow was good.
This gets an extra point for the history behind it and the influence it had.
I grew up on John Lee hooker.
My mom played this album a lot when I was growing up. I haven't heard it in a long time but I feel like I've grown a new appreciation for it is an adult.
I had never heard this album before. I had to read up on it cuz I could tell it was early work. You can definitely tell they haven't found their voice yet. They sound like a lot of other groups from the time.
I could have done without the screaming teenagers
This played in my grandma's kitchen the entire time I was growing up
Another song from my grandma's kitchen radio
I've heard a bit of Artic Monkeys before but hadn't really paid much attention to them. I really really enjoyed this album and need to delve further.
Lots of great hits on this album
They've really been into my grandma's kitchen radio music lately. This one's pretty good.
Controversially, this is not even close to my favorite Beatles album, but it's still got some awesome songs.
I love motorhead in small doses. A while album is a bit much for me lol
Just not my thing, his voice grates on me
I had just started getting into grunge when Cobain died. Shortly after, when I was 13 this album came out. Despite the fact that it was produced and announced before his passing, Love got so much heat for releasing it. It's a fantastic grunge album that had so much influence on me as a teenager girl.
This just kept getting worse as it went on
I couldn't even make it all the way through this
I can't even make it through an album by The cure because this guy's voice is so fucking annoying.
This man and his guitar.. ♥️
Not really my thing but pretty decent for the genre
DNF. I've never felt so much stress listening to music.
There's one good song on this album, but honestly they all pretty much sound the same. Depressing. And this dude has the most irritating singing voice. I didn't DNF it though, so that's something.
Well it's good to know that all of their music is just as bad if not worse than their one hit. DNF
Apparently it's depressing annoying voice week.
Finally, a great album! I start questioning this guy's taste in music when we get these long stretches of 💩.
This was fun and had me dancing through the whole thing
A weird mix between Springsteen and Morrisey? But I dig it.
I've always loved her stuff when I've heard it but have never delved into an album. This one was fantastic. Very cohesive.
The cover of hurt alone gives this album five stars
An I being fucking punked?
I didn't realize how grungy Neil Young could sound. He must have had a pretty heavy influence on the '90s.
Objectively this is a really good album, but I just have never really been into Meatloaf. It just feels too... manufactured maybe?
I listen to this while walking the dogs in the evening and a nice, but kind of boring
One of the all-time greatest ever rap albums
This is the album that sparked my love of oddball hip hop
Kanye has a song here and there that I love, but most of them are just terrible. I don't understand the obsession. His flow is just ok, his voice is annoying, and his beats are either fire or completely annoying no in between.
I was a little leery of the description but this was nice to just chill to in the background
It's been a long time since this list produced an artist that I was unaware of that I really liked. Kudos.
DNF this album was annoying
Lovely album to chill to but a little too much organ for my taste
I get that U2 is very talented, but they just don't do it for me.
I like corn growing up they were my best friend's favorite band but damn I forgot how much homophobia and self-loathing there was in this album
This is one of my favorite albums of all time.
I will never understand how an entire generation of girls fell in love with this man's irritating voice.
Seriously, WTF did I just listen to?
As much as I want to be hip enough to do so I cannot handle noisy jazz
I've never been the biggest fan of the early Beatles I'm more of a late Beatles gal, but these really are bangers.
Not what I expected at all
I love the use of horns, but can't stand this woman's voice
Really strange and enjoyable
I've always found Alanis morissette overrated. Her actual singing voice is barely good enough for a night out of karaoke so she makes up for it by being angry, growly, and repetitive.
