Fucking solid album

Unusual for a band to have so many hits on their first album. Catchy and fun and full of nostalgia for me.

Okay, brooding, long winded but still good overall

Easy car listening. Background ambient. Monday is the start of good gettings. Halycon on and on, of course is amazing.

The songs are hits. The production is good. It has withstood the test of time. I just don't like ac/dc.

Fantastic album. The kind of music I signed up for when I downloaded the app. Nothing I would have sought or listened to on my own but so fun and good and clocking in under 60 minutes. Spaghetti westerns, bollywood sounds

Good. Funky. Never heard before, rap and stoner rap..and something about pigs and donuts. Kind of a tired trope after the 6th-7th song. Glad I got to listen to it.

So many guitar solos

First album by jimi I've listened to. And that last track is brilliant.

Boring.

The first bit of the album is a slog to get through. Those last four tracks...starting with o-men, are a tidy noisy mess.

It starts as a pop album but then you can really hear the reverb and where pink floyd would eventually go.

Nonsense pop songs but a fun time

The Flaming Lips are best listened to at a concert. So much energy in the crowd and the band. This album is good, and the first one I heard or listened to, but...this is one of those albums you listen to once or twice then put away.

They really lean into the heavy death satanic metal theme. If they weren't pioneers of the genre I'd think they were a parody band.

Amazing album

One of the Beatles best.

KD Lang has a beautiful voice. Very soothing, and lush. The songs are..very smooth country more so than pop country. But there are some standouts, miss chatelain, constant craving (this song has endured), season of a hollow soul.

Beautiful singing and songs. Is this something to hear before I die? Probably not.

Album is good but not 1001 albums to live to for listening.

Amazing album. Up and down, left and right.

"i love me a black woman" wow. Racist, and crass. Funky sound tho.

Long. Just too long prog rock. Vocals are amazing ...but it drags even if it is under 40 mins.

Thought this was a bad 60s mod rock album at first. To find out it was made in the 2010's. Oof. Dated, unappealing.

So many albums on this list are just kind of bland. It sounds like a generic folk, rock album for the time period it was conceived. Boring. Next.

Glam rock a la bowie t.rex, and definitely punk and new wave.

This is a pop punk album. The punk influences ring out like a siren. And it's an easy 35 minutes

Maybe it's a time capsule. Hasn't aged well. Best listened to in 1988. Much better albums that encompass the time period and sound.

Hodgepodge of influences and styles. The leas vocals the better the music is.

Don't know what I expected but this certainly wasn't it. I wanted to like it on premise alone - but I feel it's weird just for the sake of being so. No soul in it. Not challenging, not consistent just sounds like they threw sounds against the wall and called it a song

Bring it on down is bewt on the album. It's okay, very set to the 90s sludgey guitar sound.
