As an ace woman, this is just unrelatable. Never been this horny and craving that much d just seems like a waste of time, kinda like this album.

I don’t like Radiohead. It’s just not enjoyable to listen to.
I'm sure this is important somehow but I don't care for the blues.

Surprised I already knew 4 of these songs. Also how varied the sound is across this album. If I didn’t know it was the same artist, I don’t think I would have guessed these were all by the same artist.
This is not my cup of tea. I find the lyrics a bit misogynistic. Guess I just don’t have the cultural experience to relate. I don’t know. Reggae is fine just not for me. Though it’s clearly influenced other artists that I do like.
A little bit familiar with this one. But it all mostly sounds the same - low key vibes. What does it say that my favorite is the instrumental “intro” track and none of the lethargic vocal tracks.
So I’m not enjoying this. I find blues frustrating and i just want to yell ‘get over yourself’. But there’s some impressive guitar solos and I can see how this would have been influential. But i just want this to be over. Everything is so drawn out. What I wonder is if I’d feel this way on another day. Today this is just irksome.
Great voice, but such sad sack music. Now Hallelujah is one of my all time favorite songs but not this cover. I know lots of other people like it but it’s missing the gravitas & experience that Cohen brings. Better voice, I guess but then with respect to that I prefer k.d. Lang’s cover.
It’s Hendrix…
He’d probably be a blast to see live. But yet more music that doesn’t resonate with me. I see how it could appeal to someone else.
Some pretty iconic tunes but not my favorite Led Zeppelin.
The trumpet parts were listenable but the backing tracks - organ, drums were so dated sounding that it really ruined this music for me. Jazz is already not my thing and to have something so of it’s time instead of timeless made this unenjoyable. Extra star for Miles Davis’ trumpet
Enjoyable poppy stuff for the most part. Some of lyrics are a bit creepy and pedophilic when listening in 2023.
Great guitar riffs. Neil’s iconic vocals.
I like it. Love the lead singer’s voice
So violent and antisemitic and misogynistic. Not my cuppa. And was never for me anyway so I don’t even feel qualified to comment or rate.
New wave is much more my jam.
A classic but a bit underwhelming to me.
New wave is my jam. I guess I like the Smiths even if Morrissey is a dick.
Not for me. Feels pretentious. I just don’t like this. It’s frustrating and unenjoyable.
I liked this one. Would listen again.
30 years ago I never would have said I liked the Beastie Boys. I guess I didn’t then. I do now though.
I much prefer this style of country music
Prog rock…hmm
There’s an energy here.
Dark and moody. I’d listen again
Catchy. I like the parts with Eminem.
Will have to listen again next year.
Will have to listen again
Very bluesy punk. I’m finding the lyrics juvenile.
Definitely can see the path of country and soul crossing here. Never heard this before but it’s pretty good.
Messed up and depressing. But great album
Interesting. Very New York
Ok
I used to like this quite a bit.
Would listen again if in the right mood
I liked this. Even if it’s a bit dated
It’s Zeppelin
Pretty funky.
Why is the one thing I remember a lyric about how a man shouldn’t hit is wife because the only thing that teaches her is how to dodge? And it got laughs… it’s dated and I can’t relate.
Very British
Ok
Really only liked ‘Layla’
Not for me
Catchy, I could dance to this, i mean, if I could actually dance.
The first and last tracks are bangers. But not a fan of all the honky in between.
One of my childhood favorites
Pretty good but really too mellow for my tastes.
The first half is unrelentingly frenetic. Not for me. Too exhausting. By the time the slightly less chaotic later half came around I was so done with the whole thing. I’m going to go find somewhere to eat my lunch in silence.
This is a bit better than just noise. Very 90s. Might’ve liked it then but not now. After a while just kinda samey and boring.
Love me some Leonard Cohen
Cool like an iced tea on a hot day.
I guess this was quite an influential album but today I'm just finding it a bit silly.
I didn't really care for this.
Meh. Perfect way is okay but everything on this album sounds the same.
I liked this more than I thought I would.
Ok
As an ace woman, this is just unrelatable. Never been this horny and craving that much d just seems like a waste of time, kinda like this album.
I don’t like Radiohead. It’s just not enjoyable to listen to.
Not for me on this day.
Low key, inoffensive, alright for background music since it’s so innocuous. But therefore nothing particularly interesting or enjoyable.
Felt like I should have liked this more than I did. Overall just meh.
Disco & Bollywood - so very 70s
Bowie!
I enjoyed this better than that John Zorn album but that's really not saying much. This type of jazz is not for me.
Very much of its' time and that's a time in which I don't belong.
Satire that's of its time. I'm never going to listen to this again.
Something a bit different but still kind of meh.
I would listen to this if it was only a track or two. But 10 tracks were a bit too much and a bit too melancholic and samey for me.
So many tracks but it's punk so at least they're short.
I kind of liked the music - guitar riffs and drums. But vocals & lyrics are pretty poor.
Hooky pop rock but I don’t like the lyrics
Did I really need to hear this before I died? Pretty sure my life is not measurably better for having listened to this drivel.
Dolly is a gem and I really miss country music that sounds like this.
Not for me today. Too mellow and melancholic. On another day I may have found this beautiful.
Nope. Little girl eww
Better than radiohead but that isn't saying much.
Energetic Rock n' Roll but Jerry Lee Lewis was a POS
Mid. Repetitive.
Funky
Too bluesy for me
This just wasn't interesting
Meh
Familar with a few of the tracks and I don't mind those. The other tracks I did not like. Grunge isn't really for me
This was a more enjoyable and fun listen than many on this list.
weird
Not for me. I didn't like this.
Was Rod Stewart always old or did he just sound old or is it because he's old now?
I like daft punk. I like this but it did get a bit loooong.
Meh
Weird
So sick of misogynistic lyrics. Not for me.
As background noise, okay. Not sure I’d call it music, though.
I usually like alternative music but this is meh.
Too smooth for me. I like it a little bit rough.
Despise the misogyny. And the violence is a bit much for me too.
This list needs more world music.
Dated production. Was probably interesting at its time. Now prefer the originals.
I never heard of these guys before. I like this better than shoegaze. And the disappearance is interesting to read about. More interesting than the lyrics.
It's Bowie but it's not the best Bowie.
Not the biggest fan of live albums. Also the tracks get a bit long and repetitive.
I thought a few of the tracks were ok. Didn’t like others. Really this was just too much folk for me at one time.
I sort of love Morrissey and sort of hate him too so I guess that’s a 3
My favorite Radiohead album. Except I don’t actually like Radiohead.
Generally I like Paul Simon but some of this is just silly; allergies! And did you know cars are cars all over the world?
It's a mood
Very bluesy.
So mellow I almost fell asleep
Too many parodies of Randy Newman songs make it nigh impossible to enjoy Randy Newman directly.
🫤
Interesting
Generic pop. Why is this on the list?
Such a soulful voice
It was fine - bit unremarkable
Quite liked this, even the tracks I'd hadn't heard before
I miss Leonard Cohen
Very german
Like the classic first track.
Never heard of this before. it was not too bad.
Can't say I found this timeless.
I like some of the bass lines but otherwise I cannot relate to this. I find many of the lyrics offensive and the skits lame. Not for me.
Today I learned Buster Poindexter is the lead singer of this band.
I'm sure this is important somehow but I don't care for the blues.
poignant
I can see why other people might love this. I don't hate it but I'm never going to listen to this again.
Liked this better than I thought I would. Still not really for me.
I don't care for the lead singer's vocals at all.
