While the idea of building an entire album out of samples is interesting, none of these songs struck me as meaningful or unique

The only thing I knew before going into this album is that Wonderwall is over played. I can now see why Oasis was popular and very overplayed

2 minutes into the first track, I was very tempted to stop listening. I'm glad I listened to the whole album. I found that as I treated it like a classical music concert, rather than a collection of rock & roll hits, I enjoyed this album a lot

There is a very specific subgenre of music that involves solo female vocalists featured in vibe albums. Now I'm normally a rock & roll kinda guy, but there's something about albums like this that just hits the spot with me. I just vibe to it. 5 stars.

Hip Hop isn't normally my thing but I find myself liking a lot of the songs on this album. Good beats and good lyrics. However, the album was 3X longer than it needed to be. I'm also not a fan of how explicit it can be. I won't ever be giving this a relisten

This is the exact type of album that belongs to this list. Everyone needs to listen to this type of music at least once before they die. These other reviews are filled of people hating on this album for awkward rapping, terrible flow, and a horrible beat. They aren't wrong. This is the least musical work of music I've ever listened to. However, the lack of polish really make you think about the artists and why they chose to make this music. What inspired them to produce this album of questionable quality? It certainly wasn't another pop band trying to make another million dollars by hitting the top charts. There's something about this album that uniquely flawed. And that's what makes music so appealing to us as human beings. I'll never do my ears the disservice of listening to this again, but I'm glad I listened to it once

I hadn't listened to this before and now understand why it tops the greatest of all time charts. Fantastic album.

Didn't love it; didn't hate it

If I liked hip hop I would have liked this album

First couple songs completely bored me and I almost quit early. I'm glad I stuck it out as there were some pretty decent tracks here.

If I were older I'd better appreciate the history of the album. But as a young whippersnapper, I thought it was just alright.

This is one of the few albums I don't have a lot to say about. There was nothing here that demands my comments. I wish I either loved or hated it because then this review would be better

I went to an Iron Maiden concert in 2024. Nearly everyone there was middle aged and balding. Good times.

Is this album held up by "Money for Nothing" and "Walk of Life?" Absolutely, but those songs are so good I have to give it 5 stars

Was expecting emo guitars and that's exactly what I got

Easily one of my favorite albums of all time. There's a complete emotional range I haven't found in other music. This album takes me from the highest highs to the lowest lows. I can't get enough of it.

I was skeptical of a live album, but this really shows how good The Who was. Fantastic listen

This is the type of album I'm here for. This was something totally unique and different to my usual music taste. I was completely grabbed by the unique vocals and pulled in with the emotional lyrics. This will be one of my new albums to listen to late at night when my soul needs something to hold onto.

This should not be slept on. I was skeptical when it first started. But I promised myself I wouldn't skip any of these albums, so I listened to the whole thing. This album has to be approached like an electronic symphony, not a rock and roll album. I had a beautiful journey through this album and it'll be a new favorite

Not my favorite 60s band but there's still a lot to love here

I was completely jarred by the first track dropping the N-word left and right. I'm sure many people have rated the album 1/5 and stopped listening there. However I've made it a goal to listen through every album in full on this list. I had to read up on the history of this album to see that it's a satire of American culture, particularly the south. With this in mind, this album became much more interesting to listen to. This is an album that requires active listening and not turning on as background music at work. I'm not rating this album based on how much I enjoyed it but rather the effect it had on me. This is an album I'm going to be returning to understand better. Also the instrumentation is fantastic. It's some of the best I've ever listened to. Would recommend listening to the Revisionist History podcast episode on this album to better understand the context.

I'm not a rap guy. However this is some of the best rap I've ever heard

Once cool music that has become dad music. Time comes for us all

Pretty decent jazz. A little too experimental to be easy on the ears. The intro to Song to Sathima gave me chills though.

Most of these tracks are very hit or miss with me. But when they hit, they hit HARD. Favorite track is Time which is easily a 10/10. It gets stuck in my head for hours and I never get bored listening to it.

This is the first I've listened to a full Black Sabbath album. I was expecting heavy metal for the whole album and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. I can see why they're a beloved band

Capture the spirit of the 90s, but mostly the parts we'd rather forget. The musical style and lyrical content didn't resonate with me. However I will admit that Alanis has an incredible voice.

For every other album I've rated so far, I've given it a complete listen start to finish. However I had to give this one a second listen. I first listened to this with my headphones down low while working at my desk. I didn't enjoy my first listen very much and I assumed I was missing something. Second time around, I turned it up and discovered that there are fantastic tracks on this album. I'm sure with more listening I'd come to love it even more.

I enjoyed this as much as I enjoy hearing a kid banging on pots and pans in the kitchen

Unfortunately not much here is interesting. If you like punk rock I suppose it'd be a good album, but there's nothing that makes this album unique or something that everyone should listen to at least once. The music is still pretty good though.

There's a few iconic songs on this album I actually like listening to. This does not mean I think Red Hot Chili Peppers was actually a good band. In the words of my old guitar teacher "even though their music was bad, they performed naked on stage and that was enough to get them sales"

I'm going to take a stand and dislike this album even though it's one of the most beloved of all time. I do like the instrumentation and the lyrics. However Johnny Cash just can't hit the notes he's supposed to be singing. Maybe other people like that, but it makes it impossible for me to enjoy listening to him.

Out of all the punk albums I've listened to as part of this project, I liked this one the most. Still not a punk fan though.

THIS IS WHY I'M LISTENING TO THIS PROJECT! It's very rare that a piece of music can grab me so completely and so fast. I fell in love within the first 30 seconds and this album kept my attention for it's entire run time. This is some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. The fact this was improvised live on a crappy piano is unbelievable. This album instantly made it on to my top 10 list. I could listen to this every day for the rest of my life and still not get sick of it. 5 stars is not enough.

Weird way to make eggs

Worth listening to at least once. Yes the voice has way too much vibrato, but the vocals were beautiful and melodic. The background instruments were fantastic. And the lyrics were intriguing. I don't plan to listen to this against but I'm glad I did at least once.

Country really started growing on me when I started learning to play it. Honky Tonk may sound cheesy, but it's one of the most fun instruments to play

There's some absolutely fantastic songs on this album but a few were extremely repetitive and ruined what would otherwise have been a fantastic experience.

Some of the beats were pretty good. Not the worst rap I've ever heard. But I still don't like rap.

Some of the better electronic music I've listened to. There's some really good beats. But sometimes it hangs out on the most annoying sounds known to man for minutes at a time and I have to skip to the next song. Was almost good to listen to.
