The Visitors
ABBANot the best slbum. One or two good songs.
Not the best slbum. One or two good songs.
Absolutely not for me.
A lovely soul album.
I do like the occasional Nina Simone song, but I find her voice starts to grate on me after a while. Lilac Wine is classic.
Brilliant pop album. Not at all my thing
Not my favorite by The Cure, though definitely up there.
Nope. Did not like one bit.
Its a no from me.
I've been listening to this album for years. Magnificent.
Never really been a fan though this is not the worst album.
Didn't need to listen as I've listen to it numerous times.
A magnificent debut album.
Fantastic album
Holds up nearly 60 years later....
I so wanted to like this. Just couldn't get into it at all.
I'm giving one star for the title and album cover. I have tried countless times over the last 35 years to like this album. I never get past the first 3 tracks. I have absolutely no idea what the fuss is about. Terrible album!
I have go e back and listened. Pretty good album
Fascinating album.
Another fabulous piece of electronica.
Its ok
Big fan of The Pixies
Didn't know what to expect. Not a bad album.
Not the best slbum. One or two good songs.
A really good listen.
Listened to this a lot over the years. Great album.
It is an 'OK' album.
Great punk album.
It's an alright album.
Nope.
Fantastic album.
As theatrical rock albums go, it is pretty damn good.
Fabulous album.
Doesn't stand up all these years later.
It is my first listen of this album and it is fantastic. Just brlliant.
I'm not a jazz fan ordinarily, but I quite liked this.
Another fabulous album from Kate Bush. What's not to like??
Its not bad. Some really great tunes.
A mixed bag of hip hop af rock. Great album.
I listened, I didn't understand and I very much didn't like. Awful.
What an album. Astounding. Nearly a 5 star but let down by Danny Boy and We'll Meet Again. They bounce it down to 4 stars.
Absolutely not for me.
I tried, honestly I did. Just not for me.
A little bit self indulgent, though still a great album.
Holds up well for being nearly 60
Again, jazz is not my thing. This is in-offensive.
I'm not the biggest fan of live albums for some reason. I'm also not a connoisseur of Bob Dylan. I have a couple of albums. I do though, really like this album.
Noisy alt-rock. What's not to like?
I've only every really listened to 'This Corrosion", which I love. This album is extremely good although it has a very 80's feel to it.
This, unbelievably was the first time I've ever listened to the whole album in one sitting. A revelation indeed. Brilliant album.
I finally got to listen to the complete album. Really not very good at all.
An excellently chilled album
I've never really called it punk rock but it is a fantastic 2 fingered salute rock album.
A fabulous songwriter. Great album.
I'd had never heard The Vines (I think) but what a great rock album.
Did not like at all.
I found this to be instantly forgettable. No one track stood out for me.
Nearly 50 years old and this still sounds great. A fantastic slice of American proto punk/new wave
Really enjoyed this album.
The first half of this is faultless but it tails off on side 2. A very good album.
There are a couple of good tracks but it's just not for me.
Classic
Again, a classic album.
A lot better than I thought it was going to be.
Dark and strange lyrics, brilliant songwriting and sublime playing from Midlake make this a glorious debut solo album.
First ever full listen. What a great album.
I've said before, I'm not a jazz fan. I did actually like this, though I'm not sure I like it enough to give it another play.
Awful awful 80's rock.
Great noisy album.
This was their 8th album and it was only 1965. Prolific. Great album
This is NOT Britpop. It is an album miles above any Britpop release. Just a magnificent body of work from the band.
A great debut album, now 60 years old. A band finding their stride. Great stuff
A lovely soul album.
Not for me at all.
I was fully unaware of this album and it turns out to be their 9th. It's full of slow songs. Not the best thing I have ever listened to.
I really didn't like it.
Another album I've never listened too. Really good stuff.
As debut albums go, this is up there with the best.
I like a lot of Public Enemy though strangely I did not like this album.
First ever listen. Bloody loved this.
Boring.
I have only ever listened to the hits of T.Rex. Thos was a surprisingly good album
I actually quite enjoyed this, not enough to listen again though.
Did not like at all
I was listening to a lot of electronica and punk/new wave when this was released. It took me until about 15 years later to actually listen to the full album. What a magnificent album it is. Just wonderful.
It's ok. It is not listen a second time ok.
A stunning debut album. Not a duff track.
A classic album that I find is just 'alright.
Absolutely fabulous album
With the number of star guest vocalists appearing, this should be at least a 4 star album. It's lucky its getting 2 stars.
Great album
The only band that matters with a classic debut. Brilliant.
The turmoil and troubles in the making of this album are well documented. How they did it is a mystery but they did. A genuine classic album.
What a voice Karen Carpenter had. Just glorious. The trouble is that a lot of these songs just sound weak.
I can absolutely appreciate the musicianship, I just don't like the music the musicians make.
Cleaver and humorous lyrics. Great songs as a whole, but can get a bit much after a while.
No.
Classic 80's pop at it's best.
This album is all over the place and is better for it. I even listened to Revolution #9 in its entirety. Great stuff.
It was alright. Nothing special.
I do not understand a word of it but it is excellent.
A great jazz album.
An absolute classic album from Old Shakey. Truly worthy of 5 stars.
I have always loved this album. Gram Parson's voice is sublime. The musician ship is fantastic. Nothing at all to dislike.
Does nothing for me at all.
Strangely, I've never listened to this before. What a glorious album.
More of Beefheart's weirdness. Strangely likeable
I really wanted to like this. I really didn't like this.
Another one I weirdly have never listened to before. What a great rock album.
Not as good as I seem to remember. Still good though.
Just not my thing at all.
Very much a 1960's album. Really good songwriting. Just a good album
One of the best live albums ever.
Awful album.
Now, this is a phenomenal album, brilliant. A band at their peak. It is just I personally believe that this is their second best album.
Did not like at all.
Eventually listened to this. I was strangely hooked quite early on. I've never been the biggest fan of The Fall but I am gradually warming to them. Good album.
42 years old and this still sounds fresh. Great album.
Mr Lydon is quite a divisive figure. I have always liked him, not necessarily his views. I do love his music. This is the first real post punk album and as such it is jarring in places. The playing of the band is excellent. Love it.
I know a couple of tracks off this album already. This is vaudeville at its most mediocre. Im not even sure Boemian Rhapsody saves this album. They did improve on later albums thankfully.
I will forever love this album. As a concept it is magnificent and as a double album it is flawless.
This is a few years before the smash that was Ebenezer Goode and after the really good album 'In Gorbachev We Trust' This is actually a really good 1990s dance album.
Fantastic album. Never heard it before. Too short.
It is alright. He has a great voice but a lot of the songs sound the
I only know a couple of the singles. This is really good new wave/post punk (I don't know) The playing is accomplished and the vocals are very disrintive.
Not a fan. Did nothing for me.
