I went out on a walk this morning when this came on my playlist. This type of music is not exactly one I listen to, but went ahead and listened to it. It was percussive, repetitive. Few vocals. It came to the point where I couldn't stand it. Some people keep talking about the bass, but to be honest, I have heard better bass lines from other genres.

Bob Dylan's "Royal Albert Hall" Concert sounded really beautiful. His acoustic guitar, harmonica, and his voice projecting the lyrics were and still are, powerful.
I wanted to pick up my guitar and play away; however, I desisted from the idea and listened. Some people do not like the harmonica Dylan uses in his songs. To me this is what Dylan is all about: Folksy, Americana.
Interesting album! This is the first time I have heard a Cream album. I heard "Sunshine of Your Life" before and liked it. Although psychedelic rock is not something I listen to much, this album was really good. One of the songs sounded like the song from Clapton that goes "In the white room, with dark curtains at the station."

The Beach Boys went psychedelic on this album. Never heard it before. I think they tried writing music criticizing what they were living at the time. “Student Protest“ was not my favorite song but the rest of the album was fine. I read somewhere that the art cover suggested the end of the band. At first glance, I thought the album would be a sad one. Still, great voices beautiful talent. 5

This is album number 45, and this is the second album from the Rolling Stones I am listening to. The first one was Beggar's Banquet. I understand that after BB, came Let it Bleed. I took the time to listen to the album from the beginning to its last song. This is the first time I have listened to this album, and really liked its bluesy feeling. I have heard "Gimme Shelter", "Honky Tonk Woman", and "You Can't Always Get What You Want-" all classic rock songs. I believe in all it was a really well made album. I liked it. 5

When I first listened to it, I was not impressed with the first two songs. Then, I listened to "Why Does My Heart Feel so Bad?" I liked it. Following the other songs, I listened to them and found it wasn't so bad. In my view, I feel that Moby's songs could have had more power if they had some lyrics, a bridge...My take is that I am only listening to the chorus of a song. That's what I don't like. It has a lot of potential, but it has a long way to go. Still a great record, nevertheless.

Reggae, just like any other musical genre, has impacted people in the World, not only from one particular geographical location. I am remembering a Salsa group from Japan- Orquesta La Luz. This is the first full Nirvana album I have listened to. I have heard some of the songs on the radio but wasn't really into it. In all, it was a good album. I wish the cellos could be heard as part of the melodies. It would have made this acoustic, unplugged album better (in my view). 4/5

African music is something I enjoy very much. I grew up in the Caribbean. This album, however, has brought something else. I enjoy what this band brings to the table: the mix of blues, rock, and traditional rhythms from their country of origin, Mali. Garba Touré’s guitar lines weave a hypnotic pulse into this rock-driven territory. The rhythm section propels each track with polyrhythmic grooves feels both ancient and modern, while Aliou Touré’s vocals soar in a style of its own that blends storytelling, call-and-response, and infectious chorus work.
What makes the album exceptional is its emotional duality and resilience: the music radiates joy even as it carries the weight of exile. Songs like “Soubour” and “Al Hassidi Terei” burst with danceable energy; yet beneath the surface lie stories. I wish I could learn more. From what I can hear in the music, I sense hardship and celebration—the beating heart of the album. It’s what gives Music in Exile its power and global resonance.
Tarkus is a stunning showcase of Emerson, Lake & Palmer at the height of their creative power. The piano work throughout the album is nothing short of remarkable—virtuosic, inventive, and full of the fiery energy that defines Keith Emerson’s style. The Boss! Great album!
Soul Mining has that classic 80s rock-pop vibe that pulls you in. Anyone who lived that era knows what I am talking about. Matt Johnson’s voice really stands out—strong, expressive, and perfect for the mood of the songs. Overall, it’s worth revisiting if you love that era’s sound.
I heard it through and through- from the first to the last song. I did not like it. I will still give it a 2.
In my view, "Revolver" marks a masterclass in songwriting and studio craft, showing The Beatles at a moment when curiosity, confidence, and imagination aligned perfectly.

Green Day swung hard at politics in this album. It was punchy, with a ton of rage built in it.
This is a fun album. Songs like Oh Shit reminded me of my days of youth when my buddies and I were in the jamming session. Love some few moments when you could hear the jazz influence. But it could have been better.

I still remember the day I bought Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys. It had been a long, exhausting day at work, and on the way home I stopped to pick up the CD. At the time, I expected something similar to the energetic, dance-driven pop the duo had already become famous for. But when I finally got home, put the disc in the player, and pressed play, I immediately realized this record was something different.
From the opening moments, the sound felt more reflective and restrained than I anticipated. The glossy, club-ready style I associated with them was still there, but it was presented in a more subtle, thoughtful way. The synthesizers felt warmer and more atmospheric, and the pacing of the songs invited you to sit back and listen rather than rush to the dance floor.
I remember leaning back, closing my eyes, and simply letting the album take over. Track after track unfolded with a kind of quiet elegance. Instead of the clever irony that often defined their earlier hits, the mood here felt introspective—almost nostalgic at times. The melodies were beautiful, but there was also a sense of reflection and maturity behind them.

For me, it stands as a moment when Pet Shop Boys revealed a deeper, more mature side of themselves—and created something truly lasting.
I loved this album. The brass was punchy, the singer was very soulful and the talent was exquisite.
I enjoyed all of the songs in this album. Definetely a great band for the ages.
