I loved the album! Folksy, excellent voice! I have never heard of Joan Armatrading until today. It was relaxing to listen to it. I think the album is well done.

I went out on a walk this morning when this came on my playlist. This type of music is not exactly one I listen to, but went ahead and listened to it. It was percussive, repetitive. Few vocals. It came to the point where I couldn't stand it. Some people keep talking about the bass, but to be honest, I have heard better bass lines from other genres. New York, I love you , but you're bringing me down, was a song I liked. The others should have been more thought out. I will give this a 2. Nothing more, nothing less.
