Quite fitting that the first one would be from a fellow West London raised British Asian and it did connect me with the culture. Not much of a hip hop guy but I did enjoy it while it was on and was nice and upbeat.

3/5
Quite fitting that the first one would be from a fellow West London raised British Asian and it did connect me with the culture. Not much of a hip hop guy but I did enjoy it while it was on and was nice and upbeat.
Depeche Mode
3/5
Thought this one was decent but I wasn't super into it. There were parts where I was boppin about (mainly to the synth lines) but also parts that didn't really hold my attention.
Steely Dan
3/5
It’s kinda giving 70s sitcom theme tune. The opening track is one of those songs that you know from somewhere but don’t realise it. I thought this album was nice and a pleasant half an hour but it didn’t make much of a lasting impact on me.
Bob Dylan
2/5
Would’ve probably been more positive towards it if it was shorter but it’s 73 minutes of acoustic-ish music that I’m not really feeling. Harmonica is always fun though.
Talking Heads
3/5
Lots going on in this one. Quite liked it and was interested in what was gonna happen most of the time. Bass player poppin off (pun intended).
N.W.A.
4/5
Really enjoyed the tracks towards the beginning of the album but I started to lose interest later on. Fuck the police.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
3/5
Thought this one was nice even though I am not much of a (non-heavy) artsy prog man. Lots of pretty instrumental parts so might be nice for bed time.
Black Sabbath
5/5
RIP to the GOAT, you made my life infinitely better in ways you will never know
Frank Zappa
4/5
Pretty much just 40 minutes of Zappa going crazy on the guitar and it slaps
Jorge Ben Jor
2/5
Not that keen on this one. Wasn’t offensive to my ears but didn’t find it engaging besides some funky bass lines.
Big Brother & The Holding Company
2/5
Didn’t really feel this one apart from some of the instrumental parts. Never really liked Piece of My Heart much to be honest.
ABBA
4/5
I think this is the first time I’ve ever listened to a full ABBA album despite liking the hits for years. Love the bangers on this, less keen on the album tracks.
Buddy Holly & The Crickets
2/5
Pretty cool if you want to feel like you have been transported back in time for half an hour but I didn’t really connect on a musical level.
Harry Nilsson
2/5
Only really liked Without You, which I never knew wasn't a Mariah Carey original, and thought the rest was fine (except Coconut). Not much into singing-focused music anyway.
Led Zeppelin
4/5
Always liked this one less than the other early Zeppelin records due to the lack of heavy riffs and more acoustic parts but I enjoyed it more than I remembered.
Echo And The Bunnymen
3/5
I quite liked this one and the atmosphere that it set. I feel like The Killing Moon is a very familiar song, but I can't figure out why.
Blood, Sweat & Tears
3/5
Not my normal kind of thing, but I did like it. Saxophone and funky bass are always good things.
Joan Baez
1/5
Sorry diva but I wasn’t feeling this one at all
Dire Straits
3/5
Some parts that I enjoyed but also long parts that I found a bit boring to be honest. We got saxophone and slap bass though so that's something.
Caetano Veloso
2/5
I liked some of the instrumental work on this one but overall wasn’t very keen
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark
2/5
Got a bit bored to be honest, don’t think this one is for me
Billy Joel
4/5
Had a good time with this one. Lots of songs I already knew despite not knowing where they came from before.
Lambchop
2/5
It’s quite nice and chill but didn’t make much of an impact on me
Beastie Boys
4/5
This was a fun one, didn’t enjoy the whole album but there was a lot of cool stuff going on. Sabotage will always be a banger.
Bob Marley & The Wailers
3/5
Enjoyed this one but it is a bit samey
Judas Priest
4/5
HEAVY METAL. Painkiller and Screaming for Vengeance are their two masterpieces in my opinion but I do like this one too.
David Ackles
1/5
There was a musical theatre production at my school every year and we used to have to watch bits of it in assembly. This album made me feel like that (derogatory).
The Doors
3/5
Overall pretty neutral on this one. There were some parts that I liked but I found some songs to be a bit boring.
Beck
2/5
Was fine but I wasn’t very into it

3/5
A lot of the lyrics were very cringe, but I thought this one was fine otherwise
John Coltrane
2/5
I'm not a jazz man but good saxophone playing John
Talk Talk
3/5
This was a pleasant listen, although I don't think it really grabbed me enough for a repeat listen in future. I really like the album cover.
Tears For Fears
4/5
Got the obvious bangers in here but I thought the other tracks were vibes too
The Mars Volta
4/5
Gets a bit too indulgent and overlong at times for me, but it's pretty sick overall

I never really got into the Stones, except for a few songs, and none of those are on this album...
Metallica
5/5
Ride the Lightning is my favourite album of all time and this is a close second
Marilyn Manson
3/5
To be honest I didn’t hate this one as much as I was expecting to but it is a bit lyrically cringe at times. Dude is a wrongun too but that’s another story.
Antony and the Johnsons
1/5
This kind of music (singing focused with minimal plain sounding instruments) is probably my least favourite of all
Bee Gees
2/5
Ok, but where are all the boogie tunes? These ones are slow and boring.
Sly & The Family Stone
3/5
Fairly neutral on this one but I did find it pleasant while it was on

2/5
Second dull pre-disco Bee Gees album in three days, generator please stop this my guy

Michael Jackson
4/5
Not as keen on his extracurricular activities but I do enjoy the odd bit of MJ from time to time. Lots of bangers on this one.

1/5
Sounds a bit like switching between stations on a broken radio, and all of the stations are playing the duck song
Willie Nelson
2/5
Not really my thing but nice songs Willie
Jethro Tull
3/5
Don’t really have much to say but that was decent I guess

(For the record I would have given it 2 with no vocals)
Bill Callahan
2/5
Actually ended up liking this one more than I thought I would, but still not really my thing

3/5
Message in a Bottle bangs, but I found the rest just kinda fine

The Young Rascals
2/5
