Woodface by Crowded House
Oct 31 2025

Exceptionally boring album. If rock music was formed as a some kind of rebellion against authorities, this was mostly "still living in my parents basement and my dad pays my phone bill" -level of rebellion. Many bands that succeeded in the eighties were pretty hung over in the beginning of the ninities and this band is one of those. Slow pace, kind of irritating sounding singer without personality and songs that you're not sure when they started and ended. There were couple of hit singles, but have admit that those sounded the same blurr as the whole album. The house was crowded with nothingness. The generation who listened to this kind of music was eager to judge late nineties and early 2000's high school/college rock -scene but I think this band was one of the reasons those kind of bands were born at all. And that was horrible music like this is but more honest.

Fragile by Yes
Nov 03 2025

I think there is a lot of this kind of music out there and it is not my cup of tea. Wasn't particulary bad either but I wouldn't listen this again.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Nov 04 2025

I liked this album a lot and it is a classic of course. One of the best rap albums in the 80's. Some of the lyrics hasn't aged well but if you consider that this album is almost 40 years old, it is not one of the bad ones compared to other rap-albums. The beats where mostly really good. Not so big fan of the guitar-stuff in the album but have to give credit to that it was revolutionary back then. Raising Hell includes some well-aged rap-classics but I think it loses some of it's focus nearing the end of album.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Nov 06 2025

Amazing album! Loved every track. The "robotic" atmosphere was cool but the album included some popular music vibes too and was easy to listen to. Best album I have listened so far. No mistakes.
