Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith

I can't stand Aerosmith's music. It's bland and Steven Tyler is a pedophile.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Jan 01 2026
Tommy by The Who
Jan 07 2026

I mean, I get it, but really couldn't force myself to finish the whole album

16 Lovers Lane by The Go-Betweens
Jan 09 2026

Is it an excellent album? Probably not. Is it catchy and perfect for daydreaming sessions ? Absolutely! Favorite tracks: Love Goes On and Was There Anything I Could Do

Aja by Steely Dan
Jan 12 2026

It's not my usual kind of vibe, but it's still good and I actually went back afterwards to listen to it again. Great find!

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Jan 13 2026

The album’s musical style is overall pleasant. However, all the songs sound very similar and stay within the same melancholic mood. I enjoyed the beginning of the listening experience, but I quickly grew bored as it went on. 2.5/5

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Jan 15 2026

Fuck Erick Clapton !

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jan 19 2026

I can't believe I put off listening to Linkin Park for so long for some shitty reasons. This album is incredible!

So by Peter Gabriel
Jan 20 2026

Nice album that I was glad to discover and will definitely listen to again. It kind of gives me a Phil Collins vibe, for some reason.

Foxbase Alpha by Saint Etienne
Jan 21 2026

So happy that I discovered this one, I love the vibes of this album ! Favorite tracks : Only Love Can Break Your Heart, Girl VII, and She’s the One.

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison
Jan 22 2026

I just can’t bring myself to enjoy the singer’s whiny voice. It sounds like a never-ending "boo hoo, not all men" rant set to music, which unsurprisingly matches the singer’s reportedly abusive behavior.

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Jan 23 2026

It's nice, the songs are catchy, but they all sound very similar to each other, so none of them really stands out.

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Jan 26 2026

Fun and punchy album. Glad I discovered it! Favorite tracks : Our lips are sealed, Lust to love, We got the beat

Melodrama by Lorde
Jan 27 2026

I think the album is great and original, but I had a hard time fully getting into it, especially the first half of the record. I really appreciated the songs Liability, Writer in the dark and supercut. 3.5/5

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Jan 29 2026

Nice album, altough out of my usual comfort zone. I have mixed feelings about it, because I appreciated the melodies, but struggled to appreciate the voice of the singer. However I could definitely see myself listening to this again with a hot chocolate and a book by my side ! Favorite tracks : Three Hours and 'Cello song.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jan 30 2026

Good and consistent album, I will definitely put it again as background music. I didn't find a song that particularly stood out for me, but the album as a whole is enjoyable.

The Score by Fugees
Feb 03 2026

I already knew the most famous tracks from this album, but hey, bangers always bang !

Let Love Rule by Lenny Kravitz
Feb 04 2026

Like, sure, thanks Lenny for building this garden for us, but no one asked you to do it in the first place. 2.5/5

Grievous Angel by Gram Parsons
Feb 05 2026

This album really surprised me, as I didn’t think I’d like this style of music ! Favorite Track : Brass Buttons 3.5/5

Pump by Aerosmith
Feb 06 2026

For some unknow reason I never clicked with Aerosmith. This album bored me to death...

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Feb 09 2026

I can definitely see the potential, and teenage me would probably have loved this album and plastered her room with Elliott Smith posters. Favorite tracks: Speed Trials, Pictures of Me, Say Yes 3.5/5

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Feb 10 2026

Very soothing.

Ctrl by SZA
Feb 11 2026

Chill and comforting vibes. Favorite tracks : Doves in the Wind, Prom

Junkyard by The Birthday Party
Feb 12 2026

I really hope no one ever asks me to describe what this album sounds, because I have no idea what the heck I just listened to.

Bad by Michael Jackson
Feb 16 2026
Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Feb 19 2026

I have mixed feelings about this one. There were a couple of fun tracks that I enjoyed listening to, but it felt overall a bit lengthy. It's a solid 2 (and a half!) for me.

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Feb 20 2026

I liked the vibe of this album :)

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Feb 23 2026

When I heard the first song I thought I had found one of my favorite albums... But then I had the impression of listening to the same song over and over. I got completely bored by the end of it. Also, are we going to talk about how problematic the lyrics of some songs are?

The Band by The Band
Feb 24 2026

Nice album, but it didn’t live up to the expectations I had about it.

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Feb 25 2026

WOW WOW WOW! Favorite track : Pick up your feelings

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 26 2026
1984 by Van Halen
Feb 27 2026

The album itself is solid and consistent, but to me the songs are completely unmemorable. I listened to the album twice and still wouldn’t be able to tell you which songs are on it besides Jump and Panama. Overall, these are familiar and reliable tunes that would work well to introduce someone to what I perceive as old-fashioned rock. 3.5/5

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Feb 28 2026

I usually don't like this type of music. While this album did not completely changed my mind, I surprisingly found some of the tracks enjoyable. Fav Track : Keep the car running, Black Wave/Bad Vibrations.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Mar 03 2026

Nice melodies. I had listened to Nick Drake’s first album before, and I actually enjoyed this one more ! 3.5/5

Mar 04 2026

Would I be listening to this album every day? Probably not. Would I listen to it when I want to see the whole world burn? Hell yeah!!! 3.5/5

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
Mar 05 2026

Not my favorite album, but it was fun to listen to. I’ll keep it on hand for spooky board game sessions with friends!

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Mar 06 2026

I expected a lot from this album, but I actually found it rather plain and boring. I only really enjoyed the track "Misty Roses." 2.5/5

Vulnicura by Björk
Mar 08 2026

This is the first Björk's album I'm listening to. I really appreciated the mix of lyrical, mystical, emotional and electronical vibes that emanates from this album. 4.5/5

Dr. Octagonecologyst by Dr. Octagon
Mar 09 2026

Either the album is too conceptual for my taste, or it tries to be more than it really is.

Young Americans by David Bowie
Mar 10 2026

I am not familiar with David Bowie's discography, so I was surprised how different this album sounds from his previous album I listened to. Favorite track : Fascination 3.5/5

Mask by Bauhaus
Mar 12 2026

I won't say it's a masterpiece, and you definitely need to be in a specific mood to enjoy this album, but if that's the case the album has some good tracks with surprising melodies. Favorite Tracks : Of Lillies and Remains, Hollow Hills, Kick in the Eye, In Fear of Fear

Kilimanjaro by The Teardrop Explodes
Mar 13 2026

The tracks sound dated and very similar to each other, but they also have a really comforting and familiar vibe that I like. Favorite tracks : Treason, Reward, Kilimanjaro 3.5/5

Dookie by Green Day
Mar 16 2026

HEAR ME OUT, guys, besides basket case and When I come Around, this album is fairly unmemorable...

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Mar 17 2026

I was not familiar with Meat Loaf's music, so this was a nice discovery ! I enjoyed the album as a whole, although no track emerged as a favorite.

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Mar 18 2026

Perfect album to listen to on a sunny day :)

Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver
Mar 19 2026

I fear this one is a bit too abstract and trancy for me. Also, the album feels somehow unfinished.

Be by Common
Mar 20 2026

My PhD didn't prevent me from loving this album 😄

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Mar 23 2026

Great tracks, of couse, but the album isn't very memorable for me, even after two listens. 3.5/5

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Mar 25 2026

I only partially enjoyed the second half of the album. Favorite track : The only Way

Marcus Garvey by Burning Spear
Mar 26 2026

Nice, but it felt a bit redundant.

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Mar 27 2026

I really enjoyed the melodies on this album. It's exactly the kind of alternative rock I like! It feels very dreamy and dark at the same time. Edit: I listened to Kid A just a few days later, and I found it far more consistent, powerful and groundbreaking ! Rating: 3.5/5

Take Me Apart by Kelela
Mar 30 2026

This is the type of music I have been listening to lately, so I enjoyed it. It's definitely not a revolutionary album, but it's the type of background music enjoyable during chill work sessions (or alternatively for pole dance sessions!).

Kid A by Radiohead
Mar 31 2026

I suppose it wasn't conceived as such, but this album depicts perfectly how I feel when I have to get through a working day after a sleepless night.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Apr 01 2026

Very consistent album. The tunes reminded me of the music we used to listen to when my father drove at night during holiday trips, and I sat next to him! Favorite tracks : Why worry, Ride accross the river.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Apr 03 2026

On an artistic level, this album is undeniably good. However, this is the third Bowie album I've received in a few weeks, and I appreciated it less than the others.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 07 2026

The instrumentals and the singer voice are great, but this is not the type of music that makes me vibrate. 3.5/5

The Undertones by The Undertones
Apr 08 2026

Fun, simple and lighthearted 3.5/5

Raw Power by The Stooges
Apr 09 2026

I fear this one is too much raw and dirty for me to enjoy it.

I Am a Bird Now by Antony and the Johnsons
Apr 10 2026

So simple yet so effective, powerful and intimate.

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Apr 11 2026

I'm not a fan of Elvis.

Deloused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta
Apr 14 2026

Not the most memorable album I have listen to so far, but it was still a nice discovery.

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Apr 18 2026

Great discovery, the record has very comforting and soulful vibes. Favorite tracks : Son of a preacher man, Just a little lovin'

Alien Lanes by Guided By Voices
Apr 21 2026

Not my usual cup of tea, but it was still a nice and fun discovery. I didn't think it was possible to have a record with that many tracks (28!) that last under an hour, but they made it 😄. Favorite track : as we go up, we go down.

S&M by Metallica
Apr 26 2026

I have mixed feelings about this record. While I did enjoy the first tracks and they even gave me chills, the execution falls short. I think the album could have been great, or at least more listenable, if it were half as long as it currently is.

Sex Packets by Digital Underground
Apr 27 2026

Meh (although I liked The Humpty Dance)

Parachutes by Coldplay
Apr 28 2026

Nice melodies, will definitely listen again to this record.

The Slider by T. Rex
Apr 29 2026

Not familiar with this band. It was a nice discovery, I liked the Metal Guru track, but besides that the album is rather forgetable.

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Apr 30 2026

I am not familiar with this band. The record is not horrible, but it's rather dull and boring.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
May 02 2026

The album it is consistent and listenable as a whole which I appreciate. No tracks stood out in particular but all have nice melodies and vibe.

May 03 2026

I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars. I see why this is a classic and enjoyed listening to it. Yet, this record didn't resonate with me as much as some other albums on the list. 3.5/5

Savane by Ali Farka Touré
May 04 2026

I love desert blues!

Rio by Duran Duran
May 10 2026

So 80s-coded yet effective.

May 11 2026

Works well as background music. I enjoyed the first two tracks but then had the impression of listening to these same tacks over and over.

Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service
May 18 2026

I am not entirely sure what to think about this record, as it feels uneven. There are some nice guitar solos (although they are sometimes lengthy), some songs have a fun groovy vibe, and others are far more forgettable. Overall it was fun listening to this record, but I can't decide if I'll listen to it again or not. Fav track : Who do you love - Pt2

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
May 21 2026

That's what I'm talking about ! Favorite tracks : all of them?! (even the interludes are incredible!)

Palo Congo by Sabu
May 22 2026

Nice discovery and rhythm, but unfortunately the tracks become repetitive quickly.

May 24 2026

I am not familiar with this band, so this was a great discovery. I am not really into punk music, but the tracks are catchy and have a nice groove. Favorite tracks : Mansion, Spoilt Victorian Child

Pink Flag by Wire
May 25 2026

Wow, great discovery! I enjoyed this record more than I expected. Even though I am not a big punk fan, I actually enjoyed the melodies and energy of most of the songs. Favorite tracks: Lowdown, Reuters

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina
May 27 2026

WOW WOW WOW ! I am so happy that I have discovered Elis Regina's work thanks to this generator. I loved so much the energy and the instrumentals of the tracks, I am definitely going to listen again to this record!

The Good, The Bad & The Queen by The Good, The Bad & The Queen
May 29 2026

Works well as background music, but otherwise the record is rather forgettable.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
May 30 2026

The album is consistent and the melodies are enjoyable, but it's missing something for me to fully enjoy it.

I didn't think I'd experience thanks to this generator what being a dad in his fifties feels like, but here we are. 2.5/5

Suzanne Vega by Suzanne Vega
Jun 01 2026

Felt like the OS of a western romantic comedy, and I enjoyed it!

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Jun 02 2026

Very nice instrumental and guitar riffs! There are some really good tracks on the record, but overall it felt a bit repetitive.

White Light / White Heat by The Velvet Underground
Jun 03 2026

Listening to this record felt like a roller coaster ride: I enjoyed some moments, lost my nerves searching where that squeaking sound was coming from, and one of the tracks made me jump several times. 2.5/5

Germfree Adolescents by X-Ray Spex
Jun 04 2026

I must admit, at first I was a bit annoyed about drafting another punk album, but man, this energy! It hooked me right from the first song! I also love how catchy the tracks sound and that it is woman-led. This might become my favorite punk album!

Jun 06 2026

The instrumentals are okay-ish, but this is definitely not the type of music that gets me hooked one.

Jun 08 2026

I usually like this type of music, and I will definitely liste again to this record while working or reading. However, the record itself gets too repetitive and the tracks sound rapidly similar to each other to fully enjoy it.

21 by Adele
Jun 09 2026

Perfection, by a 21-year-old female singer-songwriter

Who's Next by The Who
Jun 10 2026

The record is nice, but besides the first and last track (which I've heard countless times before), the rest falls a bit short.

Jun 11 2026

I can definitely see myself putting this record on as background music, but none of the tracks stood out in particular. 3.5/5

Post Orgasmic Chill by Skunk Anansie
Jun 12 2026

A powerfull female singer, incredible guitar solos and instrumentals... can someone explain me why I haven't heard of this band before, cause this is dope!!! Edit : I initially gave this album 4/5, but I keep getting back to listening several tracks from it, so I'm upgrading the rating to 5/5.

Fear and Whiskey by Mekons
Jun 16 2026

I thought for a minute that my headphones were not working properly, turns out the songs are supposed to sound this way.

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Jun 17 2026

Some tracks dragged a little bit, but I enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this record. 3.5/5

Shleep by Robert Wyatt
Jun 19 2026

I barely listened to the first four songs before giving up.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Jun 24 2026

Some good elements within most tracks, but the record felt rapidly too repetitive and two hours feels waaaay too long for any type of record.

Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves
Jun 26 2026

The tracks sound very similar, but the vibe of the record is very pleasant and comforting. I will probably listen to it again while working or reading. Favorite tracks : Slow Burn, Butterflies

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Jun 28 2026

This record makes me want to grow a beard, buy a motorcycle and ride it across the country. Favorite track : La grange 3.5/5

Jun 30 2026

I really liked two tracks from this record (Billy Jack, Love to the People) but the other tracks are completely forgetable. 3.5/5

One World by John Martyn
Jul 05 2026

The tracks have pleasant melodies, but they are rather forgetable.

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Jul 07 2026

Beside Psycho killer who is great, the remaining tracks are just okay-ish.

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Jul 11 2026

Not sure to which extent I will listen again to this record, but I enjoyed the energy of the songs. Favorite track : Blue Orchid 3.5/5

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jul 12 2026

Nice as background music, altough its starts getting repetitive by the second half of the record.

A Short Album About Love by The Divine Comedy
Jul 13 2026

Meh... The tracks are okay-ish, but none of the songs are particularly original or memorable. 2.5/5

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Jul 14 2026

I like the energy of this record, each tracks sounds different yet the record is consistent. Favorite tracks : Bridge over Troubled Water, Cecilia

Django Django by Django Django
Jul 15 2026

Not bad, but mostly too experimental for my taste. I did like the Waveforms track though.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jul 16 2026

Great album! I do prefer Iron Maiden's later records, but for a first album they definitely started off strong!

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Jul 17 2026

I can't stand Aerosmith's music. It's bland and Steven Tyler is a pedophile.

My Generation by The Who
Jul 18 2026

Good vibes and melodies. However, just like the previous The Who albums I've listened to, I don't find the tracks incredible, aside from the well-known singles. 3.5/5

Jul 19 2026

I hesitated giving 3 or 4 stars to this record. I'll give it a 4 because the first tracks are really good, and there is definitely some nostalgia kicking in when listening to them. However, the second half of the record falls a bit short.

Yeezus by Kanye West
Jul 20 2026

I decided I'm no longer going to listen to records by problematic artists, and will replace them instead with recently released albums from female artists. The 1/5 rating is for Ye, and below is my review for today's album. ~~~ Kelela - new avatar 4/5 I really enjoyed listening to this album. There is perhaps a little bit too much happening in the first track, which made it difficult for me to dive into the record. I think I preferred the following tracks, where the rhythm and melodies settle down a bit. Great discovery overall, I will definitely listen to it again! Favorite tracks : point blank, outta time, the bridge ~~~

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
Jul 22 2026

Although this is not the type of music I usually enjoy listening to, I must admit that the record is consistent and enjoyable. Favorite track: Ain't no cure for love

Konnichiwa by Skepta
Jul 23 2026

I was soooo disappointed by this album! It started of really good, but then I don't know what happened but I got so bored! I had the feeling that all the tracks were similar, and they were all lacking something, but I can't put my finger on what is missing. 2.5/5

Jul 25 2026

I have mixed feelings about this record. I liked the idea of a double CD, with each artist having a distinct musical universe. However, I found the whole record too long, and I would have preferred it if there were greater coherence between the two discs (or alternatively, if they had been released and considered as separate albums). 3.5/5

Beautiful Freak by Eels
Jul 26 2026

The album is very well produced, but unfortunately it did not spark much for me.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jul 27 2026

The record is okay, but I enjoyed more Radiohead's earlier records. 3.5/5

Aug 14 2026

I had no idea this album was a movie soundtrack, I'll have to give the film a watch! I really enjoyed the record, especially the instrumental tracks. It's great background music for working. I'll definitely be replaying this one!

Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Aug 16 2026

The album drags a little bit towards the end, but I enjoyed most tracks and their sonorities. Favorite track : Teen Town.

Smokers Delight by Nightmares On Wax
Aug 17 2026

Very chill record. I usually don't like albums that are as long as this one (over an hour of music), but it actually didn't bother me as the music is fairly enjoyable. The tracks have a similar vibe while still being distinguishable from one another. I will definitely listen to it again! Favorite track: Pipes Honour 4.5/5

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Aug 18 2026

The album is very nice and well put together. I did find the tracks fun and enjoyable, but not more than that.
