Superfly cruises through the city at night with the windows down. There is a lot of sugar in this medicine.

Effortlessly grooves through the first third before petering out. But just when you start to drift, Sultans of Swing begins.

Not for me, but a worthy pitstop.

"Take Me With You When You Go" is gorgeous. Exhilarating and expansive.

The gentle soundtrack to a chance meeting with an old flame at a cocktail bar in a city you've never been to before. Willing to dance if you'll lead.

There is a lot to like about Muse, but I can't shake the feeling that the vocalist is smugly levitating the entire time.

I listened to this while reading the wikipedia page for tiananmen square, and I think they synced up.

I feel like typically albums get boring in the middle or near the end when they've lost steam. But this one started boring and then got pretty good. I enjoyed the little run from The Rip to Machine Gun. The rest was a bit too difficult for me right now.

Damn good. I liked when he asked the fellas not to hit their ladies due to rumors.

Every single one of these songs is too long. Great pop album. Love the song about spanking the monkey.

What? I'm supposed to be upset that Respect is on this album twice? Get real.

I wanted to enjoy this more. The instrumentation is too boring for the lyrics to be this inane.

I'm being nice by not knocking an entire star off for the eating noises in Who Was That?, a song about a guy being in your house. This album takes place in the same "New York City" as RENT.

I've never really listened to an album like this before. I sat back, and let it take the lead.

After hearing the (pleasant) instrumental of My Doorbell in so many car commercials, I was surprised to find Jack White giving one of the most annoying vocals of all time here.

The first domino in a series of events that trigger the rise of Michael Cera in the mid-2000's.

Didn't care for the buzzsaw solo in the middle.

This is what I thought grown-ups listened to when I was growing up. I enjoyed it a good bit.

I think I am the exact age to feel unbearably nostalgic to the point of melancholy over a lot of early 2010's music. Great listen, wish they let Regine sing more. Wish Win was a better guy.

Found myself frowning a lot. Kind of music that helps your dad process his divorce.

At first I liked it. But then it started to piss me off.

Not only are these guys getting cheated on, but they're also being really pathetic about it.
