Hypnotised
The UndertonesI was underwhelmed by the undertones.
I was underwhelmed by the undertones.
Listening to this was almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard.
I thought I was going to enjoy the funk, but it was way too repetitive to enjoy. I think the groovy bass keeps this at 3 stars, however.
I know several ZZ Top songs, but only one of them is on this album, so I'm excited to listen to their other material. What a crisp version of blues-rock music. Great guitar soloing, solid grooves, the drumwork adds so much. Track uniqueness surprised me, not every song follows the typical blues chord pattern. Best track: had to be 'La Grange'
I came expecting something like The Ramones or more "Should I Stay or Should I Go". Reggae? Blues? Gangster lyrics? Bass lines were so interesting, drums were on point and super good. Could have cut a few songs and some of the extra chorus repeats, but otherwise awesome.
First half is great, amazing grooves and great vocals. Gets slower and less interesting as the album progresses.
Nothing of note, mostly lacking any melodic or memorable sequences.
Repetitive, boring, no singing melodies.
Exciting and fun. Love the celtic melodies. Couldn't listen to for long stretches without going insane.
Some songs better than others, but a great example of 80s rock
I'm not sure what happened... started off strong, the lyrical power of "Four Women" was awesome, and of course "Lilac Wine" but then I just felt on edge and anxious for the second half. Also not my typical jam.
It was fine, nothing really stood out. I thought it was going to be more catchy or groovy, but it was very flat.
Can definitely see how they influenced beastie boys. Still, couldn't get the album cover out of my head while listening, so for me... I'm out.
This is the right kind of jazz, could listen to this album on repeat for days.
Really good rock, but with the cheesy 80s backing.
Ich Ben ein Berliner! Just trrbl...
Brief respite from Faust, but lyrics were much rapier than I like in my music.
It's almost good. Not the type of music I'd listen to again... I could see it working as background music.
I was really looking forward to the listen because of Rhapsody, which is a GD national treasure. It started off great with Death on Two Legs. The rest was good with expressive drums and bass, and sharp melodic guitar, and amazing vocals. I know why I haven't heard of many of these songs, they don't stand out. But they work together in the album.
Pretty good musically, a little bland at times, I see how this influenced a lot of country/folksy/rock. Best track: Down by the River
Cool voice, pretty slow, good song writing, loved the slide guitar in various tracks. Best track: Hotel Room
Not very good. I felt like the music didn't have a point to it. Best track: none?
The French makes it sound cool, picturing a smoky bar with the bass player just living in the groove, drummer wearing shades. The synth was unexpected. Ironically, "Melody" had no melody, maybe that was the point?
Funk turned up to 11. Obviously there are the great classics like "Suck My Kiss", "Give It Away", "Under the Bridge", and the self titled "Blood Sugar Sex Magik". I didn't know how many tracks this album had, but there are a number of others I will revisit. Hard to put this up against Stadium Arcadium, which is a solid listen all the way through. Best track: Under the Bridge / Give It Away (depending on your mood)
A lot of the vocal work sounded like it needed more music behind it. Many tracks sounded like they'd be great backing for a scene in a movie that's supposed to make you "feel". Favorite track: "Your Protector"
Some tracks were interesting, like "The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul". But the singing was done in a way that sounded out of tune a lot, which made the album mostly annoying to listen to. Sounded like Olaf when trying to hit high notes, lol. Best track: "Dear God"
I like loud obnoxious 90s rock music, but the level of "sameness" between each song made this one hard to get through.
Songwriting is fantastic and it's hard to ignore the impact of this album. Half of the songs are excellent, the other half are kind of... plodding. Best Track: "A Hard Day's Night"
David Bowie is a weird dude. But as I got into this album, I realized how hard I was vibing with it. Loved how instrumental it was, more listens on the way.
So much anger, and very one note. Didn't really know where the songs were beginning and ending, just one long profanity session.
This has a very 1990 sound... some 80s, some 90s, some elements of music not yet to come. I thought it was fine, but not too enjoyable.
Great mix of genre, I really liked a lot of the songs on this. Favorite track: "Ma and Pa"
I thought some of the songs were good, but many didn't fit or belong in the album. Very strange compilation of songs.
This album was confusing... 60s style songs, 90s style grunge but with 80s drum kit. The whole thing felt... "blah". Uninteresting, nothing standing out. No favorite track.
Listless
6 years added a lot of polish. I gave their first album 1 star, this had VAST improvement. I dug it a lot.
I thought it was fine, pretty bland though.
Unoriginal
Blueberry pie. Not great. Not awful.
Odd
Bellafonte influence for sure. Fun, great voice, probably won't come back to it
Very fun!
Didn't like as much as I thought I would
It was fine.
The music itself is good, decent to have on in the background if you've had your coffee.
Iron maiden is so crisp, I love the song Trooper though It's not on this album. I was happy to hear songs like "phantom".
A good album to wind down to.
I can appreciate the different layers of music but not as enjoyable.
1st track had a great groove, but rest of the album didn't measure up
Overall pretty boring.
I'm sorry but Bruce just sounds like someone's dad singing karaoke, and trying really hard, in front of a pretty good band
A little more grungy than Tres Hombres. Still loved it, but the grooves and guitar are a bit clearer and smoother in Tres Hombres.
Started strong, loved the first track, but most songs were boring.
I came expecting something like The Ramones or more "Should I Stay or Should I Go". Reggae? Blues? Gangster lyrics? Bass lines were so interesting, drums were on point and super good. Could have cut a few songs and some of the extra chorus repeats, but otherwise awesome.
Pretty solid, especially under certain circumstances
Very interesting. I liked it, cool african style drumming along with fun jazz.
I really enjoyed it, probably another gummy album, but it works. So many songs on here I have heard before.
Someone should parody "Fascination" with "Vaccination"
His music definitely has a time and place, like a wedding or cocktail party. Otherwise, the album had no flow to it and most tunes uneventful. I wanted more piano!
Meh...
I was underwhelmed by the undertones.
Classic, great rhythms and beats. I think this album contains 3 of my favorite songs.
Killer
Exhausting
A la disco, yet ahead of it's time. Cover is apt, felt like a space shuttle tour soundtrack. Loved it.
Wanted to like it more. Too slow.
3 great songs, but I didn't really care for the intro and outro which combined to be more than half of the album.
I dub thee funky smooth jazz.
Wasn't nearly as "lobby" or "elevator" as I thought it would be. This album belongs in a spa. I had no idea how to rate this, so I went in the the middle.
Didn't super enjoy it.
I love Henley's voice and the lead guitar backing on almost every song. Hotel and Fast Lane are GD masterpieces, but a couple tracks come in on the boring side as well.
A couple good songs, most was fine.
Definitely the best work by coldplay
Started great, and had the recognizable songs, but halfway through I was getting bored of the ones acting as filler
I liked vicious, perfect day, and wild side. But dang is this guy creepy. Definitely has a foot fetish and keeps rhyming toes with nose.
Pretty generic 90s music. It wasn't bad, I actually liked the riffs and guitars a lot. Musically it was great. But the singing had nothing worth listening to.
I enjoyed the album. It was a bit long for my taste, but I liked this better than some of the popular Bob Dylan songs out there. Very chill.
Surprised they put a live album on here, but after listening I know why. These guys are very good live, and I loved the whole set.
I enjoyed it! That first song is sampled so much. Groovy, but probably won't return to it.
First half was really good, fell off dramatically after that.
I don't like being shouted at. "Gut Feeling" was good.
Bizarre
I appreciated the "funk rock", but the singing was lazy, repetative, and sounded like a bunch of Stones wannabes.
90's house music... ugh
Hard to feel the music when you can't understand the words.
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Wanted to like it, but just wanted better reggae
Was pretty groovin until about halfway through, the songs lost me and it became something else.
Really wanted to 4 star this because "My Old School" was a banger, especially that breakdown w/ cowbell and all... but the rest didn't live up.
I liked it more than I thought I would.
Not TERRIBLE country, but also not GOOD country, if that exists.
Pretty good, some great tunes here. Some of the slower songs stopped this from being higher rated.
Obvious classics, great guitar, a little slow and predictable at times, but overall a very good album.
I either wasn't in the right frame of mind or this was truly horrible. Either way, did not like.
It's always bothered me how "on the nose" his lyricism is, like telling a story. "Marc went to the store, and bought this thing, and he didn't really want that thing" etc... Kind of like a country song. Musically it was "okay", but I just don't enjoy listening.
Too much discordance, reverb, ambient noise, repetition... but since I had no expectation, can't say I was bummed. Missed getting the dreaded 1 star based on a couple of the songs being decent.
I like "Something to Talk About" better as an album. A lot of songs in here were slow and plodding. But I still gave it a 3 because it was pleasant. The "chopper sound like a window is half open in the car" song almost dropped it to a 1.
9/10, would go see.
It felt a LOT better than the first sonic youth album I listened to. However, there were still many "make it stop" moments, so I still didn't like it.
Rolling Stones C-side rarities, but I suppose that's still a compliment.
Mostly boring
It was pretty good. I love dashboard, the rest were hit or miss for me.
Some songs were interesting and good, but overall was just too bizarre for me.
This was a fun listen, I liked it, kind of like the shins or badly drawn boy.
Really liked these guys, super fun groove.
Bluesy and folksy, definitely a tamer version of the Clapton I've listened to. "I Shot The Sheriff" is an excellent rendition. Reminds me of the Eagles, or a version of country I could get behind.
After "all my friends" I was prepared to drop a 4 on this. But the spoons/cowbell were too much.
Other than the 2 major hits I've heard a million times, nothing really stood out at me as worth listening to ever again. Wish the song with ice cube was better.
This was really good. I've always wanted to like radiohead, but some of their other songs have "noise" that overtakes the value of the song. That didn't really happen here and I was happy to listen to all of it. I'll return to this album.
I love Foo Fighters, but this album is rough. Definitely still reeling from Nirvana influence and super grunge. Their subsequent albums benefit from better direction, with clearer lead guitar and better drumming.
Okay, I loved papa was a rollin stone. So funky. The rest was... meh.
There wasn't much to grasp onto in all of these tracks. It wasn't bad, just not memorable.
I knew "Bring the noise!" (Thanks tony hawk). Anyway, I'm really not a fan of early 90s hip hop.
Good background music
Empty pages is a great song. Rest of the album was fine.
Enjoyed this
Sooooooooo country. liked the title track.
Fun album, knew a few songs.
I really enjoyed this... was made in '88, but felt like a mid 90s indy-pop band. Definitely ahead of its time.
It was fine. I feel like the intros to most songs were really cool, and then it just fell into a 4/4 beatles copy.
Too much synth, not bad, but not great.
So frickin' good. Many iconic riffs, sharp guitar solos, and the singing is unique. Honestly only one "lemon" of a song for me :)
Groovy bass lines can't save an album this bad.
Album was too short, so many great tunes.
A couple of good ones. I prefer his more polished albums that calm down a bit. Most of these lyrics didn't age well.
Original, drums and bass are amazing, catchy songs.
Liked it more than I thought I would, but still pretty old fashioned similar to other artists in that era.
yawn
was there a chem bros song on a thps game? i feel like all of these songs sound familiar. way too hectic and chaotic for me to enjoy, but good in its own way
I thought I was going to enjoy the funk, but it was way too repetitive to enjoy. I think the groovy bass keeps this at 3 stars, however.
What an interesting album. There are a few gems in here, like really really shiny gems. But there are a few turds in here as well, the real stinky kind. Going middle of the road for the album with 3/5
Mostly forgettable, some good, some bad, mostly mediocre.
This album is absolutely iconic. Album starts strong, small dip in the middle, but finishes strong.
90s copy of 70s. started promising, but quickly fell into annoyance.
A very comfortable kind of jazz, not chaotic. I enjoyed the listen.
So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive.
Strangely enjoyable and lots of variety. Good listen.
Nope
Turned off when the harmonica came in. wtf
Super enjoyed this. Used to listen to Beach Boys as a kid and I love listening to harmonies.
I enjoyed this. The album was too long, but the music was pretty good. Some songs sounded like "The Wiggles". Singing wasn't great, bringing it to a 3.
Wanted to like it because THPS "Ace of Spades", but this just felt repetitive and noise.
Not for me.
Decent 60s jam jock.
I appreciate her punk attitude, but while this wasn't completely unlistenable, I didn't enjoy it much. This is some weird mix of late 90s punk and Seattle grunge, but without the interesting musicality.
First two songs were boring. I liked "way over yonder" and the natalie merchant songs. Most of the album was just typical boring americana.
Don't think I was in the right mood for this... the right mood being blasted out of my mind. I enjoyed the pieces that went into 60s rock and heavy guitar, but for the most part this album was experimental and not fun to listen to.
Funky, with some great guitar and good bass riffs.
Enjoyed Epic and a good war pigs cover. Otherwise middle of the road. 3.5, I'll round up.
This album gets you up in the morning.
I have a soft spot for violin in music like this, super good. Not a fan of the shout singing, but that's par for the course with Irish rock. Not much variety here though.
Pretty chill and interesting
I always thought Dexy was a one hit wonder and... I still think that.
Chill and kinda boring. Not bad.
A couple of good songs, but for the most part was too long. Just not my style.
Music was really cool. I haaaaaaaaaaaated ozzie's singing.
This was not great. I feel like there are some good concepts here, but often executed poorly.
I enjoyed this more as the album progressed, probably won't return to it, but it was comforting.
Like the music, don't like the singing
I'm not a huge fan of the Beatles "sound". That said... this album had some GOOD SONGS. All My Loving is classic, I LOVE the song "Till There Was You". Roll Over Beethoven is a good example of a toe tapping classic, but definitely dated.
All over the place. Same interesting songs.
Bang a gong is amazing. You knew the other songs on this album were by the same band, but without the same magic. It wasn't bad, just nothing else "good".
Really liked Rock Box, most of the rapping was too slow, nothing as good as "Tricky" on this album.
Fantastic story and album. Loved the whole thing front to back.
I liked the songs I already knew, but not much else.
High quality and unique rock and roll. I think only one song wasn't great, still 5 stars.
The music was "okay" and the singing was awful. I struggled hard to not give 1 star... I think the sax kept it at 2.
I don't know if it's because I listened to this after Iggy Pop, but I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Humor was dry, but good at times.
Vacation resort jazz. Super relaxing.
With "Sultans" being one of my favorite songs, my hopes were very high. Unfortunately it didn't quite live up, but it was still good.
While not quite the 1 hit wonder I thought they were, most tracks were repetitive and tiresome.
I enjoyed the variety this album had to offer.
Enjoyed the first half more than I thought I would or should. Decent 80s music. Not a great back half.
A jazzy pop that I would listen to again. I really liked it. Great bass lines.
Not my kind of music, repetative background, not great early 90s rap.
Just don't like his style. As he says in sons of the silent age "can't stand another sound".
A big ol WTF. You expect to hear about friends and other disney things, and it's a satire. Fine music, but just... odd juxtaposition.
Can't put my finger on why I liked this... good beats, lyrical music, a little reggae and ska, perhaps that's what it's tapping into? When I started this 2 disc album, I resolved to only listen to 1, but ended up doing it all! (2nd disc brought it from 4 to 3).
Not on spotify.
Dreams, Never Going Back Again, Go Your Own Way, The Chain, Gold Dust Woman... so many classics that are amazing songs, and every track unmentioned here is good in its own right. Well done Fleetwood!
Didn't hate it, even kind of liked it. Great folk music, not a ton of harmonica to ruin it.
Weird, decent background music.
"Green River", the track, gets you right into the album. "Bad Moon Rising" should be batting clean-up, but the 5 spot is fine. I didn't recognize a lot of the other songs, and I thought they were fine.
Decent 60s music, killed the vibe.
Chill album, still not really my type.
Very cool and unique. Enjoyed the listen.
Not a fan of the vocals, but the music was very interesting and fun to listen to.
Exactly what I'd expect from Frank... walking through the city at night with snow falling.
Listening to this was almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard.
Plodding and not my style.
Very fun album, no singing, just foot tappin.
This was almost very good. enjoyed a lot of it, but can't put my finger on what wasn't quite there for it. Maybe it was the singing? Somehow got a lot of Hamilton vibes from this.
What is this band and what is this album? I really enjoyed this, lots of great guitar melodies, grungy riffs, cool bass lines.
"California Dreamin'" is recognizable and really good. Otherwise, most tracks were unremarkable, simplistic, and kind of boring. Great vocals.
Good driving rock and roll, great vocals, some disco vibes at times too. Loved it.
Great and imaginative guitar play, very fun to listen to.
The name puts me off a bit. Pretty chill music that feeds a work ethic pretty well.
Laid back album. Not in love with the 80s sound, but some iconic tunes here.
1999 and LRC are amazing songs. I'm sure a lot of it is nostalgia, because nothing else on this album is good. But all you need are 2 legs to stand, so I have to give it 3 stars.
I didn't like the 90s tones here, sampling seemed pretty cheap on most tracks, including the cover.
Perfect album cover to cover. Great crisp guitar from Knopfler and gang, learned Sting did the background vocals on Money for Nothing, Walk of Life can apparently end any movie, grooving in the mid album and finishing strong with the title track.
Very high energy, most of it is pretty good.
A recognize the lead track, it's catch, along with a few others, but nothing is really grabbing my interest.
Interestingly I recognized a lot of songs on this. Very good foot tapper that will get you through a crappy day of programming and talking to customers.
Really enjoyed as just some easy listening, great background music. This one is rounded up from 3.5
Enjoyable, not my favorite. Shortest concert ever?
It was fine... I appreciated the softer sound. Went back and forth between typical classic rock to children's album.
Note sure when the album ended because aerosmith kept playing and I didn't stop it. Favorite track is "Last Child". Rest of the album was pretty good. All their music has funky edge to it.
Brought me back to elementary school, not because I'm old, but because one of my friends had a record player and several Beach Boy vinyls. The songs are simple, but I love the chorus echos and harmonies.
Really enjoyed this. Only put 4 stars because there were some stinkers in the mix, but for the most part thought it was pleasant to listen to.
I've heard and re-enjoyed "Gotta Get Up". It's a good upbeat song that gets you ready for... not a great album.
Tried to enjoy the "folksy" song writing, but it was often too discordant to enjoy (looking at you Carnival Song). A couple good songs saved this from being 1 star.
Mario lava level PTSD, did not enjoy.
Very interesting how pop songs are woven into some of these. That's exactly what this album is: interesting.
What a great super group. I really enjoyed the groove they put down for each track.
2007? This album was made 15 years ago? I feel so old... This album feels dated. I'm not sure if that's from over-play on the radio or if this type of 2000's pop is over-done.
Jump jive! Solid album, love Louis Prima's voice.
Fun album, lots of fun tunes and rhythm/bass sections.
Instrumental songs were great background music. Stick to instrumentals...
So very morose, a little tongue in cheek. It wasn't bad, but I didn't really enjoy more than 2-3 songs. 2.5 stars rounded up.
Good album. Heard a lot of Zeppelin I hadn't before and was not disappointed.
So outstanding. Could listen to all day, calms me down.
Weird album, not bad music though. I thought they were pretty good.
Pretty good, reminds me of magic carpet ride and some other late 60s rocks.
Couldn't take the singer seriously, sounds like a southpark characters grandpa.
The classics are good. Honestly some of the other songs just sounded repetitive or too similar sounding, I was hoping for some differences and more creativity. Still fairly solid.
First half of the album was stellar, second half fell off a bit.
Amazing vocals and great easy going music, lots of covers, but those are the best ones.
Some of the music is good, but his singing doesn't do anything for me.
A nice listen, homeward bound is def my fav.
A couple good songs, very smooth and lofi. Nothing stood out, but nothing bad about it.
Pretty boring, not a fan of this old fashion country style.
Some of it weird, some relaxing, probably won't come back.
I've never liked grunge, but Nirvana does it so well. The drums are fantastic, many good songs, a couple I don't care for.
Pretty good, enjoyed the laid back vibe.
Fun album, listening to the crowd and all. Folsom blues and long black veil are among some of the best here. A lot of the songs sound repetitive, however.
Music seemed pretty generic. Cripple creek was fun, but not a huge fan of the album in general. 2.5 rounded up.
First song was amazing, rest of album was fine.
Too many good tracks on this album to let the "meh" ones bring it down. Just a pleasure to listen to so much of this.
A couple of good songs. The choruses tend to get good in most tracks, but verses and everything else is soooooo slow, and makes the vocals sound whiny.
This is a pretty decent album. I found a lot of it to just be very basic and plain. Cool idea for a lot of it, but just bland.
There are a couple of good ones here, but the album as a whole wasn't good enough to raise to 4 stars.... 3.5 rounded down.
When you turn on up-beat jazz like this, you know the bass, drums, keys, and sax have come to PLAY. That is the case with this album. Most of the tracks just get you dancing and grooving. Vocals were the only sore spot for me, not very meaningful. There was also a lot of talking between tracks, not fun to listen to, would have been an easy 4 without that.
I found this to be derivative and boring.
Good album, decent music, the lyrics spoke to me.
Comforting jazz, very smooth, loved every minute of it. Musical excellence.
After the first couple songs I was ready to hate on this album. Oddly, I loved it. I feel like it was lighthearted, whacky, but also pleasing to listen to.
Lots of good tunes, very classic, good listen
Really enjoyed the organ backed jazz with amazing sax solos. Just stayed at the same level the whole time and didn't disappoint.
Starts out with sympathy, which is amazing. The rest was pretty good. Didn't wow enough for that 5th star, but was a great album.
Non-christmas themed christmas music...
Despite coming out in 1990, this album solidly represents the 80s with that nebulous piano chord driven 2-chord power ballad format.
The Attractions are amazing, groovy base and drum lines, very fun to listen to. 5 stars. Elvis was fine; odd singing style and very repetetive at times. 3 stars. Averaged out to 4.
After King Kunta I thought I was in for a treat, but I didn't find much more redeeming in this album.
Great voice and songwriting. The country wasn't too country, the blues were fun, the rest was pretty good too.
Really enjoyed it!
Someone found the "house" section on an old electronic keyboard and went to town.
Very good. Strummin my pain is just so well done, but I was surprised by how good the rapping was in other tracks.
Every song sounded the same. Music was pretty good, singing was pretty terrible.
Great songwriting and lyricism here, along with good music backing.
Thanks goodness this was short, it was not good.
Huh? Get out of here. Instrumentals were fine.
Great example of a band/album where everyone is in sync, despite the drums and bass going off and doing their own things, it all works together.
Actually a fun listen. Very good background for working.
Sounded like I was listening to a chill James Bond soundtrack. Really enjoyed the lofi nature of this, definitely had a lot of "Massive Attack" influence.
Recognized Mr. Wendal... as a concept the album was pretty cool, but there's something about that early 90s house drum kit that immediately downgrades songs.
I don't wish I had duck feet, and now I'm very uncomfortable about duck feet... that messed with my brain. This whole album is repetitive chaos.
It was all downhill after Take On Me. Pace slowed, and went into crooner mode. It was fine.
Very strange album, but I liked it. Especially the instrumental tracks like "Tides".
I enjoyed the bluesy laid back atmosphere of the album. Nothing terribly grabbed me, but was nice enough to listen to.
Not a big fan of 60s psych rock, and this album showcases why.
Too repetitive, did not really enjoy.
Not exactly sure what I just listened to... it was weird. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it.
Album starts with a tie fighter and punk rock vibes, was super excited, then: enter the singer... Most songs on the album went that way. Music was solid, hence the 3 stars. Could have been a much better album with a stronger and more interesting lead vocalist performance.
Like the self-titled album, still repetitive, but in a more interesting way. I feel like the singer was just "we've got music, I'm gonna step up to the mic and we'll see what happens!"
Not even sure how to classify this music... but the singer is annoying and the music isn't great.
So smooth, is this yacht rock? I think this is yacht rock. Ima get a bourbon...
It was fine, not quite what I want or expect from EWF. I guess their hits are hits for a reason.the falsetto was too much.
I finally understand Sonic Youth's contribution to music: how NOT to make music.
Too much falsetto, music was good.
This was interesting... I didn't hate it, the music was good, I wasn't crazy about the song structure. Every song was a wandering thread, often never repeating a refrain. Her melodies seemed random, like uncontrolled jazz. Not for me.
Brilliant songwriter, loved the songs, especially the first half of this album. So catchy.
I've never felt more cool at a stop light with my windows down. Nah, music was cool, but repetitive, with the singer repeating the same lines and without the catchy choruses that made Marley and Cliff so legendary.
I like the songs I like on here, the rest were okay, Jack White is not a strong singer, but very unique and cool songs.
Bass play was outstanding, the rest was mediocre.
Very weird album, at least not at all like the Blur songs I'm used to. Not a fan of their slower stuff.
A little too country, not catchy enough.
Great start and finish to the album. Most songs were really good and easy to listen to.
The end of "fakin it" made me want to spin up rasputin, lol. I love "America" and "Mrs Robinson", the rest wasn't catchy enough to be memorable.
