Stevie WonderYou can't go wrong with Stevie Wonder. His unique vocals and heartfelt performances are fantastic.

Not much to say other than a solid effort on the part of the group. It's definitely worth listening to for those interested in the genre or maybe looking for something different than what they normally listen to.
Definitely an album of its time. To my ears, this sounded almost like a live set. It's a very well done album and for sure worth listening to.
Joan has a very strong voice. She's very soulful and expressive in a way that a lot of musicians can't match. I'm not sure I like her voice with the type of music she sings. I give her four stars for her vocals but three stars for the music she's singing to.
I've listened to this album quite a lot over the last 3 decades since I was introduced to Simon and Garfunkel. This album still sounds as good today as it did when I first "discovered" it.
I liked the writing, the musicianship, and the meaning behind the songs. But, I didn't like his voice. His tone and enunciation were not good for me. Songs like Road and Which Will are great, as was Parasite. But the vocals made it hard for me to listen to.
I've never really been a fan of The Go-Go's and their brand of rock music. But, they were a solid group nonetheless. I appreciate the musicianship and the passion coming through their music but it's just not for me.
One of the songs that exemplifies the idea that music is a reflection of the times in which that music is made.
I bought this album way back when it first came out. It's one of the best R&B albums of the 90s. I highly recommend anyone who loves R&B or is curious about the genre to listen to this album.
The vocals weren't great. And generally the group sounded like a college garage band.
Great album. Bob Marley and The Wailers were legends and the messages they spread through their music are fantastic and still relevant today.
I can see how this would appeal to some of the rock fans of the 60s. But, not all music holds up well over time and this didn't do it for me.
Still not a Neil Young fan. This didn't do anything to change my mind.
As someone born in 1972, it might be a shock to some that I've never been a fan of 80s pop music. And, most of it hasn't held up well over time. I didn't like Culture Club when they hit in the 80s and I still don't. However, I have to give a tip of the hat to Boy George as he did deliver solid vocals for the group and often times his tone reminded me a little of George Michael.
Great album.
genius. highly recommend you listen.
Still not a Def Leppard fan. They can surely rock but they aren't for me.
The most positive thing about this album is it's short and it's a quick listen. I'm not a fan of the Punk genre though there are some notably good bands to come from that genre. This isn't one of those bands in my opinion.
Still not a Neil Young fan. But, this was one of the better efforts from him. My My, Hey Hey and Sail Away were both particularly good songs to my ears.
A decent R&B album. The vocals were solid. The lyrics were traditional R&B, nothing truly unique. Overall, a four star effort from Frank Ocean.
I'm not a Sinatra fan but he performs very well on this album. His vocals are very solid and the music is outstanding. Overall, this is an album very much worth listening to.
I didn't like the vocals at all. The sound didn't have much depth. However, listening to the album, I'm wondering if this group would be better live. I've been to a couple of shows where the bands were actually better live than their recorded albums.
Tom Petty is not a good singer. I'm not sure if it's the tone of his voice or the type of music he produces but his voice just isn't good to my ears.
You can't go wrong with Stevie Wonder. His unique vocals and heartfelt performances are fantastic.
Not a fan of Iron Butterfly, mostly because of the vocals are not my preference, but the musicianship is solid and the album is worth a listen if you're looking for something interesting and different.
As as Chicago native and a kid who danced to house music in high school, some of Daft Punk's music really resonates. While house music is my preferred version of electronica or EDM (electronic dance music), I give a tip of the hat to Daft Punk for creating some very interesting music.
I don't like country music. Not even a little bit. However, there are some country singers who stand out for their vocals and Jennings is one of those. I don't like the music he's singing to but I can listen to Jennings' because of his voice.
Never been a Madonna fan. Her voice is not good to my ears.
Vocals are not great. A couple of the songs are decent but overall, not something I'd want to listen to.
Still not a Neil Young fan but I quite like this album. I'm not sure why.
This is a fantastic palate cleanser. When you need something a little different than what you normally listen to, this fits the bill. This is also great background music while you work, cook or whatever. Highly recommend.
I bought this album back in college in the 90s. I absolutely love this album. These two are fantastic together.
I was surprised I liked this band. I like the lead vocals and the high energy music. Everything about the music on the album seemed to work for me. I'm just very surprised.
Heavy David Bowie influence in the music. Seems more like a Bowie cover band than anything original. Solid musicianship and the vocals were decent.
Never been a U2 fan. I can count on a hand the number of songs of theirs I like. Figured I'd give this album a try and it's not bad. Just not my cup of tea.
This isn't the worst 80s era album I've ever heard but it's hard to listen to the cheesy synth and breathy vocals.
I can say that I'm not a Van Halen fan but a few of the songs on this album have completely permeated American society over the decades whether being played in commercials or in stadiums. I've never formally listened to the album before, but I've heard every song on the album at some point. Which is weird for me but I'm sure not surprising to a lot of Van Halen fans.
One of the better country singers with some very recognizable tunes. Still not a fan of the genre but he was a decent singer.
Weak vocals. Nothing special about the musicianship. Overall, just average.
This was hard to listen to but there are some interesting aspects to the music. It was disjointed and not very coherent to my mind. Overall, can't recommend.
Definitely a band of their era. I liked this album even though it's not unique or stands out particularly well, the vocals were better than decent and overall the sound is good. Give it a try.
This isn't a stand out band by any stretch but I do give them credit for being solid. I wouldn't necessarily sit and listen to the entire album again, but individual songs wouldn't be bad to hear again.
Wouldn't necessarily listen to this again but it was a decent album. Vocals aren't great but the band puts out a gritty sound that has an authenticity to it. Overall, not bad.
Given how much I don't like a lot of the music of that era, Peter Gabriel is an exception. I'm not sure why, whether it's his voice or his creativity, I tend to like him and have listened to his music in the past.
This album has the feel of something like David Bowie meets big band/swing. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about it but it was entertaining to listen to. Not sure I'd listen to it again.
Couldn't listen past the fifth song. Very hard listen. Can't recommend unless you're really into avant garde jazz. This type of jazz often sounds like slightly organized noise.
Not sure why but I kind of like this album. It's not my genre of music to listen to but somehow it works.
