The album grew into itself as it went along, but in the end, not my cup of tea.
Some iconic tracks, but to me, there is too much false anger of the Slim Shady persona.
Killer start with "Good Times, Bad Times". What a way to kick off an album Never been a huge Zeppelin fan, but this album shows off their influences well. It's eclectic in its own way, but the foundations of everything we know the band to be are all right there from the jump.
Loved this album since it first came out. Owned it on vinyl. Most of these songs are still regular radio staples.
Classic and hardens back to simpler times for the genre
Beautiful renditions of THE authors of the Great American Songbook. A lot to digest in a single day
Not a huge Doors fan, but another killer track to open
I found that the genius of Hendrix was not really on display here.
Apt title, because most of the 39 minute runtime of this album is a study on the title track. Lmost every track is a variation on the original theme, which while interesting to a student of music, can be rather one-note to the layman. Perfect transition into "Mercy, Mercy Me" is a plus.
Surprised me. Very of its time.
Not as many bangers as his later albums, but the genius of Stevie is on full display
Not bad, but not my cup of tea. If Metallica, P!nk and Evanescence raised a child, I think Skunk Anansie would be it
Not the biggest Costello fan, but I liked it
Great beats and Nuthin' But a G Thang is a classic, but the album themes and use of certain language made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.
An album ver of its time. I have always loved the title track
Not a huge Oasis fan, but 3 stars for Don't Look Back in Anger
