Perfectly pleasant background music
Sadly now sounds somewhat dated
Reminds me of Jonathan Richman & the Modern Lovers
I love the Cure when they rock it out but there’s not much of that on this album.
Just not my thing at all. I only give one star if I think that the album is one that I could never listen to again. This is one of those. Sorry to whoever listed it.
At times I thought that I was listening to Steely Dan but that’s no bad thing. Enjoyed it more than I expected to.
Couldn’t get into this at all. Sorry!
Sounds like a load of demos to me.
I always wondered if this guy’s voice would grate when listening to a whole album. It does.
Every track seems familiar, even the ones that weren’t singles.
Every now and then there was a bit where I thought it was going to liven up a little but those bits were very few and far between. I got bored well before the end but stuck it out in what proved to be false hope of enjoyment.
It sounds like something that someone has knocked out on a cheap Casio keyboard in their tea break.
Nothing outstanding but pleasant enough as background music.
Unremarkable but perfectly listenable
Quirky vocals over fractured beats. I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not so I gave it the benefit of the doubt as it would probably grow on me with more listens.
It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive, It’s a bit repetitive…
Enjoyed it. Will be well worth listening to some more.
If I didn’t know I would have thought it was Taylor Swift.
Good to hear that a hip hop album can be made without gratuitous over use of obscenities.
One extra star for sentimental reasons - RIP Ozzy
Country music normally gets one star from me but this made me chuckle a couple of times so an extra star for that.
It grew on me on a second listen, hence the fourth star.
I’m not a Pink Floyd fan but I liked this more than I expected to.
Trying to think who she sounds like??
I’ve heard worse, like a lot of the original list!
Run of the mill and formulaic rock.
Never heard of them before but I liked it a lot.
This geezers voice is so monotonous it makes even the uptempo songs sound boring.
Unexceptional but pleasant enough for background listening.
I always think that the guitarists in reggae bands must get really bored.
I liked their early stuff a lot and was disappointed with the second album but this is good enough for four stars.
I didn’t think I was going to like this at first but, in the end, I liked it a lot.
It wasn’t at all what I was expecting but it turned out to be great! If it had been in English I may have given it five stars!
I fail to understand the hype around this band. A couple of good singles does not make an excellent album.
Not just a great album but also a little bit of history.
A band from my youth that I never much knew about so thanks for listing it. Beforehand I thought it might be a two star album but it was nearly a four!
Started off with an open mind about it, soon got bored and changed to something else three quarters of the way through.
Music is always better if it sounds like the guys making it are enjoying themselves
Dedicated to all those 40 year old girls called Kayleigh
Interesting. Something a little bit different in each track. Enjoyed it.
Miles off of my radar I’m afraid but there’s a couple of jolly bits.
