Live At The Regal
B.B. KingGreat album from a younger BB King I saw live twice but later in his career. I'm always glad to hear my favorite tune (The Thrill is Gone) on any of his albums.

Not a fan but I did enjoy a few of the tracks.
A good album with a few awesome tracks which were already in my library. There are some great guitar solos on it as well.
One of my favorite band and album. Like all of the tracks and love four of them.
I was never a big fan and I found this album to be OK as background music while I worked.
I didn't recognize the name and I quickly realized why. It's not my kind of music. Her voice also started to irritate me so I gave up on this one.
Terrible. Sounds like a garage band in need of practice. Irritable sound and totally forgettable.
To be fair, this is not my genre of music. However, a few of the tracks in the non rap genre were worth listening to. Nice voice. One tune worth mentioning is 'Can't Take my Eyes off of You'.
Easy listening and enjoyable. Light rock and folk style. White Ladder and Say Hello, Wave Goodbye were my two favorite tracks.
Great sound and vocals. I like their harmonization. Overall, not a bad album and I enjoyed most tracks.
So so album. I briefly listened to each track but I didn't get good vibes.
Too weird for my taste.
Now, THAT's what I'm talking about. Great music. I could hear every words and no grinding music. Pure Rock & Roll.
I am not a punk rock fan so this album was mostly noise for me. There are a couple of memorable tracks nonetheless.
An interesting album. I enjoyed the instrumental tracks but the singing not so much.
I did not connect at all with this album. Poor languishing songs with repetitive beat just irritated my nerves.
Great album. Easy listening. Although none of my favorite tunes from them were on this album, I nevertheless enjoyed those tunes.
You can't go wrong with Jimy Hendrix. Great album. His guitar sound is crisp and a-typical of his playing. I also liked his interpretation of Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower.
I like Billy Joel. This album well reflects his style and I especially like the title song She's Always a Woman.
I don't like punk rock. I partially listened to a few tracks and it confirmed it again. I don't like punk rock.
This is a band I never heard of. Easy listening and I particularly liked the track "Lonely".
So-so music and the singing not that great. Weird music comes to mind.
A few tracks of this album irritated me music wise. I enjoyed his version of Hallelujah. Overall, a so-so album.
Nope. Not my kind of music. I started listening to each track but just cut them short. I just cannot stand the screaming singing and grinding guitar playing with banging drums in the background.
Rap. I thought about it for a while and then decided to try it out as I normally don't like rap. This was a bit of a surprise. Milder rap and bearable. Very repetitive and throbbing beat as is usual with rap.
An alright album. I like David Bowie's music in general.
As expected with punk rock. Noisy screaming music. Not my thing.
Now you're talking. Great band. I enjoyed all the tracks. Even though the 'music died', this music will never die.
So much for that. Played the first few notes of each track and that was enough for me. Demented head banging music is definitely not my taste.
Pleasantly surprised. Singer Skin has a nice powerful voice. I usually don't like to see 'alternative rock', 'punk rock' in album's description. However, I found this to be a reasonably good sounding album.
The sound of my youth. Great songs but overall depressing. A baby in hand, I would listen to those songs which had sort of a calming effect. However, I wasn't a big fan of his voice. Overall, an OK album.
I did not know this musician. Quite enjoyable as he plays a variety of styles. I like his voice and appreciated all of the tracks.
Interesting group and interesting music. I enjoyed the instrumental tracks. Although some of them were quite repetitive sounding. This was not a group I knew of and I will likely listen to some more of them.
I must say this album impressed me. I did not know this artist nor the album. I found that the multiple tracks showed a good range of different genres, some better than other but overall, a good listen.
Another surprise as he is from my era! Unknown artist, unknown album. I enjoyed most tracks. Clean pop rock sound and nice arrangements.
Another unknown artist for me. Very mellow music. It reminded me of Robert Roseeka's music when I was up north. Overall, easy listening but boring.
I am not a fan of Nirvana and this album didn't change my mind. Most of it is what I consider irritating music. The only track I was able to tolerate was Polly even though it is not a very good song.
A young Stevie sound. Most of the songs I haven't heard or I have forgotten them. Thankfully, one of my favorite tune from him (Higher Ground) was included in this album. Overall, not bad listening.
Nice tunes in general. Nice vocals and especially like the fact that I can hear most of the words. Nice arrangements.
I am not a big fan of U2. Never was. I just listened to the beginning of some of the tracks but they just didn't do it for me.
As the title says, it's cool. Miles, the legend, one of my favorite jazz trumpet player. I even like the piano track. Love this album.
Overall, not a bad album. As soon as I saw the label (Meat is Murder) I almost decided to just click the 'Did not Listen'. I don't agree with that. Anyway, I decided to listen and found most track OK.
I don't like pounding beats and a number of tracks on this album uses them. I have mixed feelings about this album as I did enjoyed a few of the tracks. Overall, not too bad.
Unknown artist and unknown album to me. Interesting and enjoyable music. Good guitar playing.
Definitely sounds like a work in progress. Being a big fan of The Beatles, I nevertheless enjoyed this album which also included some of The Beatles' archived tunes.
Nothing remarkable as it is not the kind of music I would generally listen to. I would not seek out similar albums.
Nothing. Depressing and dragging. Singing is bad.
An era when music was music to listen, dance and groove with. Not a great album but definitely a good one.
Being in the music genre I like, it was easy listening for me. Also being a fan of The Beach Boys, and this being his solo album, made it a special thrill to listen to. One note. There are so many tracks on this album that it reminded me of the old K-Tel albums I used to buy.
From the first note, I was in my music world. The Rolling Stones, a close second to The Beatles, made some of the best music ever in my mind. Good album.
I am a selective fan of David Bowie in that I do like a few of his songs. This album sounded a little weird for me and it is not something I would listen to regularly.
Music to my ears. A smooth sounding voice backed up by a big band sound. It doesn't get much better than that.
A Canadian and American group with a wide range of musical genre. Very listenable in their days.
You had me at Billie Holiday. Not her best work but, in my opinion, very enjoyable.
Being in the middle of raising teen boys, I was familiar with this band. Although it wasn't my kind of music, I can enjoy it now, especially since it is not their earlier loud and obnoxious music. This album is tamed in comparison and listenable.
Disappointing to say the least. I am a fan of Simon & Garfunkel. This album offered nothing even resembling their repertoire except Mrs Robinson. It doesn't even come close to the Sound of Silence.
I've never been a big fan however I can tolerate his music in small doses.
Ah yes, soul music of the 70s. Nice beats, smooth singing. All good listening. I'm always appreciative as well when a track or two are instrumental only.
One of the greats of my younger years along with BJ Thomas. Great lyrics, great voice and so pleasant to listen to. It also engender so many good memories.
I was not familiar with this band. Most of the music falls in what I consider the loud and annoying to listen to music. I make an exception with the songs 'Big Me' and 'For All the Cows'.
The more I listened to this album, the more I got irritated by both the music and the voice. I didn't do it for me.
Great album. Great voice. This is a perfect example of the kind of music that was written in the days of my youth. I have no problem listening to this one over and over again.
Country & Western old style. I found this album too whiny.
OK, so I listened but it didn't work for me. Background music that tends to be dragging for too long with the same beat. Lazy synthesizer music.
From the first note of the first track. Legendary band. legendary songs. A great album all around.
I am not a hard rock enthusiast but I make an exception with AC/DC. Good songs with moderate screaming.
I really don't consider rap to be good music from the start so skipped most track and soon realize that it's about all the same annoying sound. Not for me.
As far as jazz goes, this was OK. The only time I listen to jazz is when I need some background music while working.
This is Van Morrison we are listening to. Great album especially with the live atmosphere. I'm a big fan of his music.
Just listening to the beginning of the first track confirmed what I suspected, absolute trash.
Thumbs up for good old fashioned songs. It takes me back to my youth, young love and school dances. Cathy's Clown, a classic. A great album by legends.
A completely unknown band for me. Not a bad sound at all.
Electronic music. Not with it. A lot of repetitive beat which drives me nuts. I skipped most tracks.
Now we're talking. Album 75 for me and the first one I heard worth a 5. My favorite band ever and most of their tunes are classic and worth listening to over and over again.
Radiohead. I am getting used to this band. Some good tunes. I like the creativity of some of the songs.
Interesting. Some nice reggae undertones. I didn't know this band. I liked their vibe and the big band sound on some of their tracks.
Nice beat and clean lyrics. Not a big fan of hip hop as I think it is too repetitive but I have to admit that I like this album.
I like this smooth R&B, soul sound and from an artist I never heard of. I would listen more from him.
