Ok.

Loved it in 1995, found it grating now. But ironic still hits. 2 stars.

Dominated by the big hits sledgehammer and Don't give up, otherwise an ok listen

It's a alternative rock landmark, it begins with a call to arms and ends with a trilogy in classic rock style. Classic and a landmark double lp.

Yep its the sex pistols debut. Transformative when I was younger and it was a stepping stone to other better music. But God save thr queen, pretty vacant, new York still hits. Hopefully, john lydons public image albums are still to come

Its not you, its me..... 1. Jazz playing in the background, I hate jazz. 2. Jokes about l.a. that just went over my head. 3. Songs about l.a. street life that just don't relate. Tom, it was a blast, but I don't think we should see each other anymore, and Tom, its not you, its me.

Im not sure a double album by Christina Aguilera was on my to do list, today.

Parental advisory indeed. Its funny I remember being less shocked by this when it came out than I was now. I actually can't believe guilty conscious was released at all, never mind as a single!!! Despite that, the beats are great, and the rapping really strong, despite questionable lyrics

Ok, I grow up in 80s England. Iron Maiden posters and t-shirts were everywhere. They were worn by the uncool kids. I didnt want to be one of them. I wanted to be one of the uncool kids with impeccable music taste. The smiths, the cure, sonic youth, dinosaur jr, these were the bands that would lead me to the promised land. Iron Maiden were uncool, laughable, trying hard to be dangerous, satanic, and scary. We knew Iron Maiden, would lead to a life of playing dungeons and dragons, and dreaming of touching a breast. I wanted to play dungeons and dragons, and be upset by the fact I'd never touch a breast. Guess what, I was wrong, Morrissey turns into a card carrying racist and Iron Maiden rock. HARD. Turn to the dark side, raise two fingers in the air in the sign of the devil and Raaaaawk.

The singles are what your here for. Like a Prayer, Respect Yourself and Cherish are great, the rest meh.

Strong start, middling middle, forgettable end. Why were rap albums during the c.d. period so long....
