Very well written just not my style
Better than I was expecting. I enjoyed this album
This was the opposite of strangers. I was expecting to like it more. However I found, while still good, it was a bit lackluster
Could not get into it. Not necessarily bad music. Just not something. I could connect with
Winwood is hit or miss for me. Most traffic is a hit. Most winwood solo is a miss
Seemed a bit forced. It was easy listening but didn’t inspire me at all
Has a feel like The Shape of Punk to Come. Its not quite as iconic but you can feel and hear how much was influenced from it.
some guitar, a nasally voice talk/singing a few words and then some harmonica. If you like the sound of that repeated for an hour this album is for you. I appreciate and understand Dylan's influence, but this is not in my wheelhouse at all
Very forgettable. Didn't even realize the album was over until I heard a song playing that I recognized
very dull, very bland very forgettable
I was dreading listening to this album. I know where Bob Dylan stands for me: Respected but not fond of at all, but this record was a breath of fresh air and plesently unexpected, much more of a blusey feel but still with the typical Bob Dylan storytelling underneath. I actually might give it another listen at some point.
Was pumped to get a punk album after a few that felt like wading through mud. Started out well, but it didn't grow. There was one big well of energy at the beginning, and then it just held there. Nothing stood out because there was no change. it was just a constant barrage of high intensity noise. Its one of those albums where its understandable why its included in this list, but misses for me.
I really have to separate the art from the artist on this one, but purely from a musical standpoint, this album is great. Song after song, hit after hit, all the little melodies that have been stuck in my head with no context for years, this album will probably go into a semi-regular rotation.
80s music, not the good stuff. Don't know any songs which doesn't bode well for a genre I'm familiar with.
As an avid listener of alternative music growing up, I always get nervous when I've never even heard of a band. Some times its because of my ignorance, but I'd like to consider myself well versed in the alternative world. This album was completely unremarkable in every way. I cannot figure out what is influential about it, but maybe it will take a few listens.
Harmonica. Thats all that this album is. if you like that this is for you, if you don't, its not.
Didn't like the sound of mainstream hip hop of the early 00s. Thought I might grow out of it. I have not
Thought I would really enjoy this, but it just dragged on. I wanted to like it but very few songs spoke to me like I thought they would. One thing that has always stuck through me was my uncle calling the who the greatest band of all time, better than the beatles specifically, and everyone else. I respect the who, but they're just not for me.
