What a brilliant band and superb album!
Not as bad as an average Beatles album. It is almost good, actually.
Too '70 for my taste but not a bad album at all.
Pioneers.
One of the best metal albums of all time. Flawless, heavy and creative. The Number Of The Beast and one or two Megadeth are the others on the very top.
Half of it is too tapid for me. The other half is all right - although I do not like this genre.
Good songwriter. The Clash, Red Hot Chili Peppers and so many others can be heard here before they even existed. The bass player, Bruce Thomas, must be mentioned.
Quite strange, artish, unique and ahead of its time. Some parts were entertaining, some were not so much for me.
Very '70s. Naive (vacuous?), simple, boring. Not my taste at all.
2 points, closer to 1.5.
Not bad, not good, not my taste.
With the original Behind Blue Eyes on it!
A very good reggae album. I can not stand reggae music.
Very good in its style.
Nice, deep voice, original, personal but quite boring music.
Jazz is OK but bossa nova is very far from my taste. Sounds brilliant and, listening objectively, it is a very good album.
Strange, interesting and good enough.
Lovable.
Unique and very '70. Not my music.
A REAL band playing real music. I liked it very much.
If you like the music of the 70s...
I do not.
Got it on 25th of December.
Not bad. Better than most of the others from the 70s, actually.
I feel too much Beatles in this music for my taste but it is still very close to five stars.
Very, very good, perfect but not my style.
Perfect name. Perfect music - for The Blue Oyster Bar.
We can call it music but it is far, far from enjoyable.
Elvis. That's it.
Pop. I'm on fire and Dancing In The Dark are fine. I was born far from the U.S.A.
Mostly calm, quite experimental, quite good.
Oldie. Not bad, nothing special. It is very strange that the album is named after a Bob Dylan song released some month earlier and covered here as the first song on it. 3 points, very close to 2.5.
Minimum amount of music.
Yes, but no.
Raw. Liked it very much.
I was not fond of this album when it came out. My opinion changed during the years. Do not forget that this is not the original cover art. That is even better than this one.
NINGHTRAIN! 4.5 points, lets say 5.
WOW!!! Sounds very empty - only the three instruments plus the singer, nothing added.
No, no, no, thanks. This voice irritates me. So does the music. :((
Almost as boring as 1969 made me believe. 2.5 points.
Oh, no, another progressive rock from the 70s. Mood for a Day is very good classical guitar composition.
Very '60s. Not my taste. Toy Dolls fans: original Lazy Sunday (Afternoon) can be found here.
Better than the most of the albums I had to listen here. 3.5 points
Not good, not bad. Gave me nothing.
Not my style at all but I like her voice. A very good, peaceful album.
Musical personality goes a long way.
Very far from what I call music.
Is it an R&B week? I am not happy about it. Not strong neither interesting album.
Artish, creative. Liked it.
Not bad but not strong either.
Not so bad. :)
Very close to listenable.
Sick but very creative.
An average R. Stones album.
What a debut.
Very '70s but, exceptionally, I liked it. Three musicans, nobody else.
'70s in 1986? No, thanks.
Quite unique and interesting but not as good as strange. Her voice is hmmm, divisive.
Africa makes it interesting and exotic.
Very '70s. The sound of this era irritates me. Quite boring.
Simple, original, good.
The first three songs and one, two more are fresh, simple, melodic. The other half is average.
Very good.
Oh, how sweet, soft and kind. And how far from my taste. It could be good in 1970 when released. When I heard Carpenters' version of a The Beatles song I could say nothing but Help. 1.5 points.
It might be a classic but not my taste of music.
Ooooh, yessss!
Very old, sounds old but not bad at all.
Neutral. Not bad but did not touch me at all.
Raw, fresh, divisive. Liked it.
1957.
Very talented.
I hope it is serious because it is very bad as a joke. The first Depeche Mode album from the very same time is much better than this. 2 points, not far from 1.
1967. but not bad at all - especially for country music.
'I can't believe the news today.' - The situation is the same now, 05.03.2026.
Have not heard it for long years but it still works.
This albus shows almost everything I hate about the music of the seventies. Nice album cover artwork by the way.
Geddy Lee's voice is the only weak point of this very good album.
Good music. I like the little The Clash in it.
Too much albums of him on this list.
I am not a hard rock fan. Old and a little bit boring for me.
Very British, very strong.
Not so bad but very far from my taste. Two points. Not so far from one.
I think it is a love or hate band. I like their music very much. The cover of this album...
They do not sound or look like saints at all but this is very fresh, very, very good music.
Speaking about similar style, I prefer Tori Amos' music way more.
An average (soft) punk album. Not aggressive at all, not very original. The Clash, The Ramones did and The Toy Dolls is doing it better.
BRILLIANT.
Bowie. Not my cup of tea but listenable.
The whole album is fine, the song The boxer is a WOW.
A very good jazz album.
Neutral with lot of boring parts. Did not touched me at all.
Not bad but very far from my taste.
Very old but yes, I can say it works.
People who have problem with Robert Smith's voice shall listen to this gentleman.
Reggae is not my cup of tea. It is not 100% reggae so my point is higher than one.
Not bad from a modern soul album.
I like punk, avant garde and far from the mainstream musics but not this album.
Not as bad as old and boring.
Pleasant and easy to listen to. Pop but alternative enogh to please me.
"Artish, creative. Liked it."- I wrote about the other MBV album here. I can repeat it. Very good album.
Nothing special but I liked it.
Diverse music. Did not touched me at all but it was good to listen to it. Once.
Not bad but not so unusual pop album. I liked it - with the two big hits.
Not so bad, especially from 1971.
Liked the personality, originality of the music and her voice, too. She was only 18 years old when it was released...
Perfect in its style.
Old but not bad. They tried to be creative and uniqe back in 1966 and they succeeded.
I do not like it but it is very good. Strange to feel it.
Simple, straight and honest. Liked it.
Quite good, has its mood.
Bowie, that's all. Again.
A little bit too hippie but not bad at all.
Weird, strange in an "I like it" way.
Not my cup of Michael Jackson. :)
Ready or Not rulez, other hand sorry, "boys and girls", this is not music for me.
Fresh music from this list - what a surprise. British - and it can be heard. Liked it.
All in all it's not bad but not my vibe, not my style.
Quite good album from 1956.
I can not stand the music and sound of the '70s. Typical album from that era.
Free, clean, uplifting.
1969 but it is all right.
Far from my taste, totally new artist on my radar but was quite entertaining and good. Liked it.
Quite unique.
Talented but far from my taste.
B o r i n g.
Drugs are bad, Mkay?
It could be good at 1971 but it is 2026 now.
Closer to torture than enjoyment.
As a central European guy I am not touched by this "music" at all.
Very cool, has a feeling, liked it.
Not bad band with an irritating voice that I couldn't get used to.
Liked it. Third Costello album I had to listen here - "Too much albums of him on this list." I wrote after the second one.
Very old to my ears - in the wrong sense of the word.
Lovely.
Oh, no. Disco.
Arabic pop? Far from me.
Much better than 80% of the albums here, I liked it very much.
It has a feeling that I like - and I am not speaking (only) about the cover now.
Under My Thumb is one of the very best songs of The Stones. Goin' Home is longer than eleven minutes - way too long, othervive the whole album is fine.
Halfway between Simon&Garfunkel and ABBA with even more pop? Not bad but nothing special.
Punk with attitude, female singer, saxophone and very good songs. Simple and I like it like this.
Very The Beatles, very '60s, very weak.
I laughed at it, loud, when it came out. What pop music it was after the albums before it - although it has a very strong and heavy sound. Bass is a new guest after ... And Justice For All. Listening to it now I can say I like this album - maybe because their albums after this one are even weaker. Melodies and most of the songs are good, that is how pop music works, but these are all on my pros list. Meowings are not guitar solos.
This band is very limited.
Organ, sax, drum, guitar - jazz.
It has its own style but this music is too strange and too boring for me in the same time.
Green Day - nothing special. More american than idiot.
When Rolling Stones meets ZZ Top and New York Dolls - inviting Elvis for one song.
Very old, quite good.
Tepid, feminime.
Oh, no, no, NO. Please, no. It will be hard to forget this.
Using Iron Maiden letters is a crime. Her "music" is an other one.
Oh, how boring it is! Very.
I am a metal fan but Pantera was never on the list of my favourite ones. I miss musicality here. Knowing that the title of this album is not 'Musicality', I must say it is all right - but I do not like it at all.
It looks like basically I like trip hop. Some songs are boring but the mood of the others is/are very welcomed. I can hear Faithless in some parts.
Not bad but nothing special.
Too smooth, too simple for my taste.
Not bad at all but, as every Pink Floyd album, it is b-o-r-i-n-g.
Very old. Sounds like The Rolling Stones from the same era.
I am not old enough to like it more than three points.
