5 Incredible album, listened for the first time a couple months ago. stevie really is one of the best songwriters and singers of all time.

not my favorite but i kept hearing elvis’s voice when little richard was singing

different than other songs i’ve heard by the beatles. more fun and obviously this album was known for being recorded and written on hallucinogenics.

not as good as dsotm but still has the same vibe

people think this is a patriotic album, but it’s a critique on the american dream. his music feels like it’s a part of my dna

already love the cover art and i know some of cyndi’s most famous songs are on here so im excited

as someone who listens to a lot of hip-hop/rap i wish i enjoyed more og rap. i think it’s interesting because a lot of the production on this album was similar to artists i really enjoy like the refugees and lauryn hill.

i have never heard of this band or album so i honestly have no idea what to expect. sounded like weird electronic covers of songs that already existed

another og rap album but i’ve never listened to them. will be interesting to compare this to the method man album from earlier this week. just off the first song i am getting more of a west coast vibe

i’ve kind of always been a self proclaimed beatles hater but this album is very enjoyable. honestly i’m enjoying the whole story a lot more than i would have expected. halfway through and looking up copies of the album for my record player lol

i don’t know anything about this album or what it’s going to sound like.

this is an example of why i cannot write off an album before i have listened to the whole thing. the first 8 songs were pretty unenjoyable but then “we’re going to be friends” came on which was very enjoyable and i wouldn’t have found it had i stopped listening to the album

literally no idea what this is going to sound like lol. the album cover looks like a modern day rap album but this is from 1986. and the title of the album is throwing me off. here we go, very folky and enjoyable

this album kept me on my toes. this was my first impression of neil young and at first i thought he had a bob dylan type sound but then it started getting more rocky? and then at the end it had pink floyd vibes lol

i actually have this album on vinyl and have enjoyed it. i usually listen to these albums with my headphones which always feels more immersive. honestly way shorter than i thought it would be. crazy how you can just imagine this music really giving off a strong emotion in the background of an old black and white movie

idk why but i thought this band was from like the 80s. fire album cover. i actually really enjoyed how the main singer sounds like he is singing far away. solid guitar and drum additions

my first listen by her. i really enjoyed this album and it really reminded me of janelle monae who no doubly took inspiration from bjork

bruce can do no wrong in my eyes. this wasn’t an album my parents played much growing up so i listened for the first time last year. i loved seeing a different side of an artist i had loved all my life. i saw the biopic with jeremy allen white at the same time and that made me appreciate this album in a new way.

i remember the first time i listened to this album and i really understood why he is regarded as one of the best. this album is one of the rare ones i will classify as timeless- meaning it could have come out at any time and it would still be meaningful and enjoyable

he is a terrible human being but man can he make music

first thought- i was not expecting this to sound like sufjan stevens. not in voice but in content. it also reminds me of the beatles in the way of production and cadence. i can’t believe this was made in 2010

eclectic mix of upbeat and softer songs

it’s funky it’s jazzy and it’s poppy

this is one of those albums that before i started i didn’t think i would like but it’s honestly beautiful and im only halfway through. this is kind of jazzy with the piano

if you told me this was the beatles or the rolling stones i would have believed you

it was honestly a more philosophical and spiritual album than i was expecting

definitely nothing like i’ve heard before in my life and even though i couldn’t understand the words i felt the vibes
